Biography: | Cherna April Gast:
Female, 25, Birthday is 4-13-1997.
I'm a married mom of 2 (7 year old boy, 20 month old girl) and I'm expecting again. n_n;
I don't work outside the home; I tend to believe
children are more important than career. I may not
have planned for my kids, but I love them to
pieces. :D
I have one fat old mackrel tabby cat, Kitter,
who occassionally uses my keyboard as his bed.
Especially when I'm writing.
I love writing and drawing, and when my kids are
a bit older, I'm going to take a stab at doing
comic books professionally. Either as writer or
artist, probably both.
I've been writing fanfiction since 1995 (sadly,
my early works were lost to a hard drive dropped
on cement. ;_;) and I've been drawing since 1986.
I'm a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog and have been
since his arrival on the Genesis around '92. Other
favorite series are Trigun, MegaMan (X and Legends
series especially), Klonoa, and Kirby.
Favorite Animes:
Trigun
Serial Experiments Lain
Evangelion
Fushigi Yuugi
Golden Boy
DragonBall and DBZ
Akira
Ghost in the Shell
Princess Mononoke
Armitage III
Casshan: Robot Hunter
Robot Carnival
Vampire Hunter D
There are quite a few others I enjoyed, but
haven't seen all of, which makes me leave them
out, for now.
I rarely watch TV; Farscape and Babylon 5 were
my mainstays. I do enjoy Monty Python when I can
watch it. :D
Favorite Movies:
Labyrinth
Fight Club
Leon: The Professional
The Matrix
Dune
The Quiet Man
McClintock
Vanilla Sky
Cool World
Generally, anything with an enjoyable, well-
written story appeals to me. I'm not into any
particular genre other than science-fiction; I'm
not one to judge right off the bat. But stuff that
is nothing but an excuse for skin, gore or 'see
who can rattle off the most profanity in under a
minute'... No thanks. That just shows the juvenile
thinking of the writers.
I may not post often, but I try to make what I put
online worth it. :) |
