'Unusual' Couples I go for are:
- Sakura/Yugi
Crossover couple from Card Captor Sakura and Yugioh. I don't know, they just seem... right, together. Besides, where do you think I got my username from? ;)
- Crono/Lucca
Chrono Trigger. Best friends, plus if you do that Death Peak thing with Lucca, you can tell she likes him, at least a little bit. ;) I like Crono/Marle too, but Crono/Lucca is just too cute.
- Spike/Ed
Cowboy Bebop. More as a friends/brother-sister thing than lovers, but I enjoy a couple story with them that WORKS (like the age-difference obstacle).
- Cloud/Yuffie
Final Fantasy VII. Come on, I think they look cute together! Plus some of my favorite FF7 fanfics involve them as a couple. Plus you gotta love the Yuffie date thing at the Gold Saucer. ;)
- Rikku/Roy
Another crossover couple, this time from Final Fantasy X and Fire Emblem/SSBM. I don't know HOW I thought them up, but now that I have, I love the idea of them as a couple.
- Van/Moonbay
Zoids. I actually thought they WERE (or were going to be) a couple when I watched the show. But, alas, official sites say otherwise. I still think they would work out, though. The arguments kinda give it away. ;)
- Link/Saria
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I really like how they are best friends, and you can tell Saria kinda has more feelings for Link. Plus out of every Zelda fanfic I've read, Link/Saria ones are my favorites.
- Vyse/Aika
Skies of Arcadia. Like with Link and Saria, they are best friends. Although not the usual pairing (why else would I list them?), Aika does have feelings for Vyse.
...Was that too long? Sorry, and I probably have more unusual pairings that I like hanging around in the back of my head. I just... can't think of any, at the moment. ^_^; |
