| Biography: | I love Fanfiction sites...this would be the third one I love, so easy to navigate around in.
Hello, my name is Shannon and I am an enjoyer of the art of writing. Back in the day I would write witty little Mary-Sues secretly about myself in different situations. Then I tried writing more seriously, desided I had never been through anything very serious(except love, but that's different) so I abandoned that idea too. So I chose a happy medium for the time being while my imagination bakes in the oven of ideas. Fanfiction was the perfect option because I'm one of those people who obsess over books and movies and are constantly dreaming up situations for the characters, hence the fanfiction. I also love to read well written fictions by other authors. My favourite on this site so far is Shi-Koi, whom I found on fanfiction.com; but that website got a little too disorganised for me, so I came here on the advice of another author.
About me: I'm 16 and still in Highschool so not alot of terribly interesting stuff happens to me. I'm not part of the "in" crowd, I don't smoke or drink, I hate drugs and I'm totally against pre-merital sex. Makes me sound like a goody-two-shoes doesn't it? Maybe I am, but I'm having fun being myself. My philosophy is that anything like drugs or sex is way too hard to deal with at my present state. Life's hard enough with adictions and babies. Plus, I'm not trying to escape life, so I don't need stuff like booze and pills. I find that being the only sober person at a boozed up party is twice as funny because you don't do anything insanely stupid, and you remember all the stupid stuff your friends did the next morning. Anyway, I'm pretty content with my life right now, could use some more excitement, but we're good for now.
My one true passion besides writing, is music. Music really moves me and shapes me in ways that I can't understand. I play piano and trumpet and I am a bit of a band nerd(But hey, I plan to make a career out of it some day, what the hell) I like to write and orchestrate music, plus set poems to melodies and stuff. I'm really proud of this.
I love Tolkien and more specifically, his Lord of the Rings books. www.barrowdowns.com is where I live during the school day(It's the best Tolkien site on the web if anyones interested) and I write alot of LOTR fanfics. Also I love Anime...especially Yu Gi Oh! Inuyasha, and Yu Yu Hakusho. I love the Manga's for these shows to.
Last note...I am Canadian. So there! It kinda stinks sometimes living up here because everything seems to happen in the US. But I'd rather be up here enjoying my scenery and clean water than be anywhere else. So I'm not complaining.
