Chapter4: Unexpected emotions

Kiva was up and going the next morning. She had just showered and eaten breakfast before Tyson and Hillary had gotten up. They both walked into the kitchen and saw pancakes on a plate in the middle of the table. "I have to leave for a while but I'll be back soon. I should be back by the time everyone starts getting here." She told them. Hillary smiled and decided that she had to poke at Kiva a little bit. "Just be here by the time Kai arrives. We wouldn't want you to miss him." Tyson didn't like this topic of conversation. "Don't remind me." Kiva muttered half to herself and half to Hillary. "Need anything while I'm out?" Kiva asked ready to head out the door. "No, go have fun and be back soon." Hillary told her. Kiva opened the door and groaned. It was raining out now. But she wouldn't let a little rain ruin her time here. She walked out and went to the bus stop to go downtown. She started to have fun going in and out of shops. She had quite a handful of bags by the time she got done with all of her shopping. She went over to the bus stop and noticed that the bus was just pulling away from the stop. She started runing toward it, but it wouldn't stop. She finally stopped and watched it drive away. She sighed. It would take another 45 minutes to an hour for it to come around again. And she would be late if she waited and she would be late if she walked. She really didn't have another choice. She started walking. Not long after she started walking she heard someone whistle. She turned around to see who it was and almost dropped her bags. Kai was standing next to his car looking at her. He was half smiling half smirking at her. "Looks like you could use a ride. We're going to the same place." Kai said. Kiva knew that she shouldn't, but he was right. She had promised Hillary and Tyson she would be there. She watched Kai go around to the passanger side of his car and open the door. She wondered a bit, but then started toward him. She slid into the seat and watched him go around to the driver's side and got in and started up the car. They drove down the road in silence. She didn't even want to look at him. She could feel his heat radiating off of his tan skin. He smelt of vinilla cinnimon. She had to admit that she liked the smell and if her pride had been gone, than she would have leaned in closer to get a better smell and to feel the warmth of his tan skin. She saw that they were pulling up infront of Tyson's house. She very quickly got out of the car so that she could get away from Kai. But she noticed that Kai was right behind her. She practicly ran into the house. As soon as she came through the door, almost everyone was already there. They all stopped and looked at her as she came through the door. Kai ame in right behind her. He decided then,that he should have waited a bit before coming in to the house. They looked between Kiva and Kai and started grining. "Why are you late Kiva?" Max teased with a smirk. "Were you making out withKai? The backseat of the guys car is where alot of kids are concived." Micheal added. Tyson was boiling by now. "Kai and Kiva? I wonder what the kids would look like." Max said with a wishful tone. Kai was going red and Tyson was about to kill Max and Kai. "I would never sleep with that wench. Not if she was the last girl on earth." Kai said. Kiva turned around and punched him in the arm and walked off into the kitchen. Tyson followed her and grabbed her by the arm. "What the hell was that?" Tyson yelled. Kiva smiled with satisfaction "I punched him in the arm. Because he called me a wench." She told him. "Not that, you coming in with him. Were you with him?!" Tyson questioned. "Yes and no." She said before turning on her heel and walking towards the refrigorator. "What do you mead 'yes and no'?" Tyson was pissed beyond belief by now. "I missed the bus and Kai gave me a ride. End of story. Nothing happened, and nothing will ever happen between us." She told him in a stern voice. Tyson, now understanding the situation, was starting to calm down. Tyson walked back into the living room and sat down next to Hillary and Max. He punched Max in the arm and made a small glare at every guy in the room. But his gaze landed on Kai. He wondered what went through Kai's mind when his sister came into the room or when he thought about her. What was Kai thinking about when his sister was in the car with him. And she had only been a seat away from his reach. Kai was leaned up against a wall a good distance away from everyone. He had his arms folded across his chest, his legs crossed, his head bent down, and his eyes closed. But everyone who knew Kai knew that he was listening to everything said. Kai had very sharp hearing. His hearing wasn't as sharp as Rei or any of the people from his tribe, but that was because Rei was born with that trait. Kai had to work for sharp hearing and quick reflexes. Kiva came back into the room and sat next to Rei and Tala. Tala smirked at Kai, as if to say 'She's sitting by me and not you!! ha ha ha!!' Kai looked up and glared at Tala. "Hey, how about we play a game?" Johnny said looking between Kiva and Kai. "Alright. But what?" Enrique asked. "How about Spin the Bottle?" Oliver suggested. "Or, how about Truth or Dare?" Max asked grinning from ear to ear. "Lets take a vote. Which ever one has the most votes is the game we play." Johnny anounced. "I vote for Spin the Bottle." Wyatt said rasing his hand. "You do realise that means that if it lands on a boy that you have to kiss a boy and that most of the girls that are here are taken." Lee told him. Wyatt looked a little dissappointed, but that didn't matter to him. He had seen the way Kai and Kiva looked at eachother and he knew that there was something behind their glares and yells. The Blitzkrieg boys and the girls knew what he was thinking, but they knew they could all team up on Kai and Kiva in Truth or Dare where as in Spin the Bottle, it was going to have to be determinded by chance. "I vote for Truth or Dare." Spencer anounced with a smirk landing on his face. They took the vote and Truth or Dare won by a few votes but not many. "Come on Kai. Come and play with us." Tala whinned. Kai looked up and looked at the faces that were now looking at him. Then did he decide that it wasn't worth getting humiliated over. So he straitened and headed for the door. "No thanks. These games are a waist of time." Max got an idea right then. "Come on Mr. Tough. Its not going to kill you to play a game with us. Besides if you don't play this game, I'll tell everyone your little seceret. You know the one I found out our last year together as a team." Max did a very good Kai smirk. Kai glared at Max. He hated it when he used that against him. He turned around and headed for the group. They were all puzzled now. What seceret did Kai have? Was he a father? Did he have a kid? Was he married? Was he afraid of spiders? Was he afraid of the dark? What was it? No one knew except Max. Kai sat down between Bryan and Spencer. "Now that were all here, we can begin the game." Johnny said. "Since it was my idea to play a game I'll go first." He looked around. He spotted Mariah playing with her hair and Rei wasn't paying any of them any attention. He was too busy watching Mariah play with her hair. "Rei!" Johnny shouted across the circle. Rei jumped out of his skin with the sudden out burst. He looked at Johnny with a questioned look. "Truth or Dare?" Johnny asked. Rei smiled a sweet nekojin smile. "Dare." Rei answered. Johnny smirked "I dare you to make out with Mariah in front of everyone." Johnny smirked at Mariah and looked at Rei. "What are you waiting for? An invitation?" Rei turned to Mariah and both of them turned bright red. Rei kissed her very gently, but it wasn't long before Mariah deepened the kiss. They seemed to forget that they were being watched by a whole group of people. After about 2 minutes they both desperatly needed air and came up. They looked around and alot of people were wide eyed. "Wow" was all some of them could say. Mariah was still very red while Rei was becoming quite proud of what he had acomplished. "Alright, your turn Rei." Johnny told him. Rei looked strait at Max and smiled. "Max, Truth or Dare?" Max was a little afraid of what Rei might want him to do. So he decided to take the safe route "Truth." Rei was still grining at him which made him a little nervous. "Alright, how many kids are you and Miriam going to have?" Max looked at Miriam and Miriam looked at him. They seemed a little uncomfterble with this. "Anywhere form 3 to 5." Max answered. Rei was a bit surprised. They had already agreed to a number of how may kids they were going to have? That was pretty amazing. Mariah wanted around 4 and Rei wanted 1 or 2. "Alright, its Max's turn." Tala said looking around at everyone. Max looked at Kai and noticed that Kai was begining to get bored. 'Well, then we might as well spice things up.' *'I don't think that is such a good idea Max'* Draceil warned. "Kai, Truth or Dare?" Kai slightly jumped. "Truth or Dare?" Kai looked at him in an attempt to study his face to see what he was planning, but Max wasn't going to let anything go. "Truth." Kai answered. He wasn't taking any chances. Max was a bit dissappointed, but he still had a plan that he could carry out even though Kai had picked Truth. "Why don't you have a girlfriend?" Max asked. Kai was a bit taken back by this question. No one had truly ever asked him that question before. They had asked him if he had one, but no one had ever asked him why he didn't have one. Max and the other's could tell that Kai was a bit uncomfterble with the question. "Because I don't have any need for one nor the time for one." Kai answered quickly. Max looked at Kai as if he had x-ray vision and it made Kai squirm a bit. Finally, Max looked away from Kai and looked at Johnny. "Kai, its your turn." Rei told him. Kai looked around at everyone. He looked at Johnny and grinned. "Johnny, Truth or Dare?" Johnny smirked. "Dare, I'll be braver than you." Johnny boasted. Kai grinned even further. "What's so funny Hiwitari?" Johnny asked, his smirk slowly fading. "I dare you to run around in your boxers, screaming 'I love Barney'." Johnny paled a bit. But he knew that he had to do it. He started to strip and he looked at Kai and glared at him. Kai knew, if looks could kill that he would be dead over a hundered times by now. He was finally in just his boxers and started to run around the house and then he started screaming 'I love Barney'. Everyone thought it was very humerous. Everyone started to soon burst out laughing. Finally Johnny stopped and then started to redress himself. "Now its your turn Johnny." Robert told his redhead friend. Johnny looked at Kai. "I'll get you for that Hiwitari." Johnny spat at Kai, who just shrugged. "Its what you get for suggesting we play a game." Johnny turned his attention to Robert. "Truth or Dare Robert?" Robert looked at Johnny. "Truth." He answered. "Alright, tell us something that no one in this room knows." Robert looked around the room at all the faces before answering. "I'm getting married to Rica." Everyone's attention was now on Robert. "She's his longtime girlfriend. And before you ask, no she is not a rich uptight snob like Robert can be sometimes. She isn't even rich. She's in the middle class. And its not an arranged marriage. She's doing this on her own free will. She really loves him with all of her heart." Oliver answered pretty much all of their questions in one statement. "Congradulations Robert. You finally found a girl who will put up with your uptight snobish side. And she's not an uptight rich girl. That's bonus points for her with us." Tyson said with a smile. Hillary was happy and was very clingy to Tyson by now. Robert knew it was his turn now and so he decided to make it worth it. "Max, Truth or Dare?" Max knew what Robert was up to. "Truth." Max smiled again. He couldn't wait until it was his turn. "When are you and Miriam going to start having you kids?" Max shrugged. "I don't know. Not until we're married at least." Robert nodded. "Kiva Truth or Dare?" Max asked her. She looked at Tyson and then at Max. "Dare." Max looked all to pleased with her answer. "I dare you to french kiss Kai." Tyson went wide eyed as well as Kiva and Kai. "No!! No!! I'm not going to french kiss him!" Kiva yelled. "I'm never going to kiss that wench!! Not in this life time!!" Kai yelled also. "She is not going to kiss him!!" Tyson yelled. "You gotta do it! You said dare and that is the dare." Johnny objected. She knew he was right, but she didn't want him to be right. She got up and walked over to Kai and stood infront of him. "Get up Hiwitari. Let's get this over with." She didn't look to happy. He knew he had to do it. He stood up and glared at Max. Max grinned a very evil grin. Tyson was boiling with anger. Her heart was pounding, as was his. She grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him forward until their lips met. Everyone went wide eyed and their mouth's were hanging wide open. She slowly started to forget that everyone was watching them. His hands instenctivly went to Kiva's waist. Her hands let go of his shirt collar and went up and set on his shoulders. His tounge lightly touched her bottem lip, asking for enterance. Tyson couldn't believe what he was seeing. Kiva had just said not too long ago that nothing would happen between her and Kai. Sure, it was a dare, but he didn't expect that they would actually do it. They were both very stubborn, and if they didn't want to do something then they wouldn't do it. They heard Kiva sigh, and they saw her arms wrap around his neck and her hands run through his hair. She let him in and she let him explore her mouth for a while. Then she felt his tounge start to caox her. He wanted her tounge to come out and play with his. She had to comply with his wants. They battled for dominance over eachother's mouths. Kai's hands slid up her back and ran through her hair. Max was very pleased with himself. However Tyson was thinking of ways he could murder Max and Kai and then bring them back to life to murder them again. Hillary was watching intently. Johnny was taking mental notes. Dachi took out his flip-camera phone and started to take pictures and recording so he could watch it later (Dachi doesn't have a girl. He needs this. Aren't I evil?! ha ha ha ha!! O_o) . Kai felt his heart speed up to a speed that he was pretty sure that was over the speed limit. Soon they needed air, and parted slowly. Kai knew that he was going to die either from humiliation or from Tyson, whichever came first. Kai's gaze was locked in with her's. There they stood in the middle of the room being watched by everyone. Kai's hands were still on Kiva's waist and Kiva's arms were still around Kai's neck. Tyson was glaring at Kai. Tyson was about to get up and drag Kai away from his baby sister. Kai started to back away from her. Both of them dropped their arms. Kai then turned on his heel and walked out the door. Kiva stood their in the middle of the room watching the door Kai had just walked out of. Her heart was still pounding so hard that she could hear it in her ears. Her stomach had butterflies in it too. She had never felt anything like this for any guy in her life. "I'm going to kill that son of a bitch!!" Tyson yelled. He headed for the door as soon as he heard the car start up. But Kiva stopped him. As soon as she was sure that Kai was a bit away from the house she let go of Tyson and headed toward her room without a word to anyone. Tyson was puzzled. Why did Kiva stop him from going after Kai? What was up? He was going to find out if it was the last thing he did.

She looked at Tyson and then at Max. "Dare." Max looked all to pleased with her answer. "I dare you to french kiss Kai." Tyson went wide eyed as well as Kiva and Kai. "No!! No!! I'm not going to french kiss him!" Kiva yelled. "I'm never going to kiss that wench!! Not in this life time!!" Kai yelled also. "She is not going to kiss him!!" Tyson yelled. "You gotta do it! You said dare and that is the dare." Johnny objected. She knew he was right, but she didn't want him to be right. She got up and walked over to Kai and stood infront of him. "Get up Hiwitari. Let's get this over with." She didn't look to happy. He knew he had to do it. He stood up and glared at Max. Max grinned a very evil grin. Tyson was boiling with anger. Her heart was pounding, as was his. She grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him forward until their lips met. Everyone went wide eyed and their mouth's were hanging wide open. She slowly started to forget that everyone was watching them. His hands instenctivly went to Kiva's waist. Her hands let go of his shirt collar and went up and set on his shoulders. His tounge lightly touched her bottem lip, asking for enterance. Tyson couldn't believe what he was seeing. Kiva had just said not too long ago that nothing would happen between her and Kai. Sure, it was a dare, but he didn't expect that they would actually do it. They were both very stubborn, and if they didn't want to do something then they wouldn't do it. They heard Kiva sigh, and they saw her arms wrap around his neck and her hands run through his hair. She let him in and she let him explore her mouth for a while. Then she felt his tounge start to caox her. He wanted her tounge to come out and play with his. She had to comply with his wants. They battled for dominance over eachother's mouths. Kai's hands slid up her back and ran through her hair. Max was very pleased with himself. However Tyson was thinking of ways he could murder Max and Kai and then bring them back to life to murder them again. Hillary was watching intently. Johnny was taking mental notes. Dachi took out his flip-camera phone and started to take pictures and recording so he could watch it later (Dachi doesn't have a girl. He needs this. Aren't I evil?! ha ha ha ha!! O_o) . Kai felt his heart speed up to a speed that he was pretty sure that was over the speed limit. Soon they needed air, and parted slowly. Kai knew that he was going to die either from humiliation or from Tyson, whichever came first. Kai's gaze was locked in with her's. There they stood in the middle of the room being watched by everyone. Kai's hands were still on Kiva's waist and Kiva's arms were still around Kai's neck. Tyson was glaring at Kai. Tyson was about to get up and drag Kai away from his baby sister. Kai started to back away from her. Both of them dropped their arms. Kai then turned on his heel and walked out the door. Kiva stood their in the middle of the room watching the door Kai had just walked out of. Her heart was still pounding so hard that she could hear it in her ears. Her stomach had butterflies in it too. She had never felt anything like this for any guy in her life. "I'm going to kill that son of a bitch!!" Tyson yelled. He headed for the door as soon as he heard the car start up. But Kiva stopped him. As soon as she was sure that Kai was a bit away from the house she let go of Tyson and headed toward her room without a word to anyone. Tyson was puzzled. Why did Kiva stop him from going after Kai? What was up? He was going to find out if it was the last thing he did.
