Na ruto ran through the forest. He was chasing something he had seen in the forest near Konoha. He could sense it. He was drawing near it. He came to a clearing and stopped. It was somewhere in the bushes. "Come out! I know your here." He yelled to the night sky. There was russling coming form a bush behind him. He coutiously stepped toward it. Something emerged from behind it. It was a black figure. Naruto stepped closer, being very carful. He was half afraid that the figure would run off again and he wouldn't be able to chase it down again. He was also afraid that it was going to lash out at him. "Come into the light where I can see you." Naruto told the figure. The figure's head lifted up to look at him. He could see dark eyes looking into his. The figure stepped out into the light and Naruto had to catch his breath. When he saw who it was, he felt a lump form in his throught. It was Sasuke Uchiha. He looked almost the same as he had when he left. "N-Naruto." Sasuke spoke in a soft hushed voice. Naruto had to look close to see that something was wrong with Sasuke. Naruto took a few steps toward the now smaller boy. He stopped when he was a few feet away from the Uchiha boy. Sasuke's head was bent downward. "Sasuke is that you?" Naruto was barley able to ask. Sasuke lifted his head and met the blond's gaze. His gaze held alot of emotions. The held hurt, betryal, and some other emotions that Naruto didn't quiet get. "What are you doing here? I thought that you were supossed to be with Orchimaru?!" Naruto heard the venom in his voice. He didn't want to sound to angry, but in truth he was. It was seeing Sasuke again. He didn't deny that seeing him was wonderful, but then it brought back the memory of the betryal when Sasuke had left. He didn't even give any warning, he just up and left one night. That was the night that Naruto fully prepared to tell Sasuke how he felt about his fellow teammate. Seeing Sasuke again arose feelings he thought he buried long ago the night that Sasuke left him. There was something distant about Sasuke's eyes. "Sasuke, what's wrong?" Naruto asked. He could hear the concern in his own voice and was pretty sure that Sasuke heard it too. Sasuke looked away. "N-Nothing. E-Everythings fine." He answered in a shaky voice. Naruto narrowed his eyes, but decided to let it go. If Sasuke really wanted to tell him then he would tell him. "Then what were you doing here?" Sasuke looked up at Naruto's gaze, but quickly averted eye contact. "I-I wanted to s-see somthing." He stuttered. Naruto took a few steps toward him. Sasuke took a step backward. He was backed against a tree trunk. "Your lying Sasuke. I can smell it." Naruto was shocked to see panick and fear in Sasuke's eyes. Naruto took a step forward. He knew that he had Sasuke trapped and he hated doing that, but he had to get some answers. "Why did you come back?" Naruto asked fiercly. Sasuke paniced. Sasuke was shaking to death. 'What's wrong with him? What is he scared of? I'm not going to hurt him.' Naruto thought to himself. He put his hands on Sasuke's shoulders to try and calm him down so he could get some straight answers. He took one of his hands that was on Sasuke's shoulder and put it on Sasuke's chin. He lightly guided Sasuke's head. Sasuke's eyes started to fill with unwanted tears. "I-I told you. I had to check on s-something." Sasuke looked uneasy. "And what was that something?" Naruto questioned. "J-Just something." Naruto looked him square in the eyes. "Why did you leave Sasuke?" Naruto asked. Sasuke tried to look away and break eye contact, but Naruto's hand was firmly on his chin so Sasuke couldn't look away. "Your not going to get away from me until you answer me." Sasuke looked a little confused. Naruto smirked. "Or, maybe I'll just keep you and not let you get away from me again." Sasuke's eyes widened even further if it was even humanly possible. Naruto smirked at the smaller boy. He remembered a time when Sasuke had been taller than him. He had thought that if they ended up together that Sasuke would probably end up being seme and he would be uke. He hadn't like that idea then and he still didn't like the idea now. He smiled at the thought of him being in power of Sasuke. He saw the image of Sasuke at his mercy and smirked. He could feel Sasuke tense under his hands. Sasuke jerked his head away from Naruto's hand. Naruto turned his attention back on the smaller boy under his grip. He was a head taller than Sasuke. He noticed that there was something wrong with him. Naruto pulled up the sleeve of Sasuke's shirt and looked at his shoulder. There was a huge purple bruise on Sasuke's shoulder. The bruise went down a good part of his upper arm. Naruto lightly ran the tip of his index finger along the briuse. He felt Sasuke shiver at his touch. Naruto pulled the neck of his shirt down and looked at Sasuke's neck. There was the curse. Naruto leaned forward and brushed his lips against it. Naruto could feel Sasuke's hot and heavy breath on his cheek. He felt a tear drop on his cheek. He was so caught off gaurd for it, he jerked back unexpectacly. Naruto felt that lump in his throught comming back. This was a scene you didn't even imagin would ever happen. Sasuke Uchiha was crying. His eyes were closed, and the tears were flowing from his eyes. Naruto instictivly pulled Sasuke into his embrace. He wrapped his arms around the shaking boy and pulled him close. Sasuke, without knowing it, up his hands on Naruto's chest and turned his head to where is ear was over Naruto's heart. Naruto rocked Sasuke back and forth like a little child. Naruto decided that they couldn't stay in the forest for very much longer. It wasn't safe, especially for Sasuke. He picked Sasuke up bridle style and walked back through the forest. Naruto took the back roads and the allies that no one ever really took anymore. He didn't want anyone to see Sasuke. They arrived at his apartment and and he carried Sasuke in. He walked straight to the bedroom and set Sasuke on the bed. As soon as Sasuke was free of Naruto's grasp, he tried to make a run for it. But Naruto caught him before he even left the bed. He put his hands around Sasuke's waist. He pulled Sasuke into his lap and wrapped his arms around Sasuke's waist and buried his face in Sasuke's neck. Sasuke stopped moving suddenly. Naruto noticed this and lifted his head so he could whisper in Sasuke's ear. "I'm not going to hurt you. Not physicaly, not emotionaly. Just relax. I won't let anyone hurt you anymore if you'll just relax and trust me." Naruto murmered into Sasuke's ear. Sasuke felt tears start welling up in his eyes again. "I haven't trusted anyone with anything in a very long time." Sasuke whispered back. Naruto turned Sasuke around in his lap, so that Sasuke's legs were straddling his waist. "Who hurt you Sasuke?" Naruto asked with gentleness. Sasuke looked away from him. "What would you be able to do? I'm no one, I don't matter. Not here in this town, not in any town. No one cares about me." Sasuke answered. Naruto glared at the smaller boy. "I can take care of it. We care for you. Sakura, Kakashi, and... me." Naruto whispered the last part. Sasuke leaned back to look Naruto in the eye. There was something in Naruto's eyes that Sasuke hadn't seen in a very long time so that he didn't recognize it. "Why did you leave Sasuke?" Naruto asked softly. Sasuke looked sorrowful. "I could feel the darkness within me growing beyond my power and it was planting thoughts into my mind that I was going to end up doing if I didn't get away from you." Naruto blinked. Sasuke had said 'you' not 'all of you' meaning Sakura too. He felt his heart leap for joy. Naruto had many more questions, but he could tell that Sasuke was very tired. "Lets go to sleep. I'm tired and I know that you are tired too." Sasuke nodded and fell asleep right there suddenly. His head plopped onto Naruto's shoulder. Naruto smiled and pulled out a scroll of paper. He was not taking a chance that Sasuke might try and sneak away from him again. He layed Sasuke on his side and slid him under the covers. He then slid under the covers behind Sasuke. Naruto wrapped his arms around Sasuke's waist. Sasuke leaned his head back onto Naruto's chest. Naruto heard Sasuke's even breathing. He was pretty sure that Sasuke hadn't had a good decent nights sleep since he left and probably before that. Naruto smiled. He was going to keep Sasuke, no matter what it took. "Your mine Sasuke Uchiha. Your mine and no other's." Naruto whispered in Sasuke's ear. Naruto felt Sasuke smile in his sleep.
