A lovely piece, fabulous integration of imagery, narrative, emotion and characterisation. You put us in the picture immediately, and did a great job weaving in Hisoka's past and present thoughts, and how both of them are defining his future. Great ending, very bittersweet, yet with just a smidgen of hope. Lovely work!

..O.O Fantastic. The imagery...the characterization--and the helplessness.. I'm so glad I didn't skip by this fic and read it instead. Even the ending-which leaves a slightly bitter taste-was done wonderfully. Very simple.. Thank you for writing this^_^
