one would think yasha got a little something out of that experience... his childhood would have been so much better if more people cared like kagome. . . almost a fatherly thing for him to do, it was in character for him to be kind and compassionate when no one was around to witness it. . . reminds me of lately in the manga leaving for the final battle[still raging] naraku with the completed jewel, shippo tries to get the group to take him and yash convinces him to stay and protect rin, kohaku and keade.
