I REALLY liked this story. I couldn't have said or written better myself. This story is EXACTLY what should happen with Kagome and Inuyasha. He has always taken her for granted. It doesn't seem to matter enough to Inuyasha that Kagome has always loved him unconditionally without requiring him to be anything other than what he is. Kikyo truly loved him I think but only with her conditions. Had Kikyo lived, I think Inu would have been relatively happy, but he would have never been free. Because being human as Kikyo would have required him to be is only half of what he is. Kagome, though, loves him just as he is, demon side and all. And that makes all the difference in the world. Inuyasha does not appreciate that gift nearly enough. This story forced him to do just that and give Kagome the love and respect she truly deserves. This story was a complete ACE. I can't compliment it enough, and I hope to read more of your work in the future.
