Death fics are not unusual per se, but you have put a new spin on it with your choice of who to kill and how to kill them. Very original. I agree with your opinion that the first chapter is slow. Personally, I think you dwell a little too much on the whole "Yerda thing" and perhaps you could consider killing most of it. That is NOT the story and it takes too long to get to the story IMO. All we really need is for Vegeta to be injured by the latest monster du jour--the rest is there. I'm not sure why you decided to depart from the canon re: the kids' ages, etc. I think if you're going to change something like that, there should be a story driven reason, otherwise it just distracts from your story. I loved the idea of the cabin dream, with Vegeta drawing Bulma back into the world. Very nice. Oh, one more techincal note--usually it's a law that when someone dies withhout cause that an autopsy must be performed, not hospital policy. Although I did love the fight Bulma put up. Nice story andlooking forward to the next update.

I'm only up to chapter 2 but so far I am very impressed. Your writing style is wonderful and your plot is very intriguing. I'm obessessed with BV romances but now and again I do enjoy the ocassional tear jerkers. Keep up the good work.
