I loved 'Love at first bite' and i thought it would be a long while before i could something as good as it again... and now you give us this. This was truly a good story, very heart-warming for me. I don't know many writers myself, but you are definately at the top rankings in my book. I loved this story. Definitely original. I loved how you showed Inuyasha's thoughts when he realized that Kagome would have been the mother of a hanyou and defied her village in order to protect that child. I think you ended this story at the perfect spot and it stands well alone. That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing future stories in this universe, such as what happens if Sesshomaru tracks Inuyasha down looking for Tessaiga. Lady, what can I say? You have done it again! You have managed to make this woman a happy one, and I must thank you for the HUGE smile in my face right now... *+*+*+ *+*+*+ When the review asked for an optional title, the only thing that came to mind was how much I treasure jewels such as this one! After the ending of the series, most of the writers worth reading left the fandom and abandoned many great stories and stopped writing altogether. Now a days I find myself pitifully looking back into old favorites and re-reading them over and over again. But when a great writer like yourself gift us with something new, I feel like someone who has found a rare jewel, that has to be cherished and treasured, for it is so rare, that I fear I would never see another one again.*+*+*+ *+*+*+ There are very few good writers that either write something new or even try to update their old stories, so there really isn't enough words to tell you how much I appreciate that you have taken the time to let your inspiration flow, write, and share with us!! *+*+*+ *+*+*+ I must confess to being greedy, I would have begged for a much longer story, a few more chapters, or even just a longer one shot, but I know I am being selfish, and so all I would say is that I am so grateful, so very grateful to be able to read something I enjoyed so much! *+*+*+ *+*+*+ Kagome's story was sad and touching at the same time, but in a way it paved the way to her encounter with Inuyasha, and the meeting of two lonely souls who couldn't find a place anywhere else, found that place with each other. In my mother's country, there is an old saying that came to mind, it roughly translates to "There is always a ripped one for someone who has come un-stitched" and it just seemed to fit so well with this story!
