This appears to be a case of testing Syaoran's clan loyalty in the most vile way possible, setting him between the one he calls brother and the one he wants to love. It would hardly be the first time in history such travisty was done to maintain the breeding of the wealthy. Yet I find some things out of place. While Sakura being deemed heir of Clow could be seen as an insult to the clan, having Syaoran marry her would 'correct' that. Her only fault to them would be that she's Japanese, though her British descent from her great-grandfather should lessen that slightly. On paper her immediate family may not be much, but until Tomoyo marries and has a child-- Sakura is still likely second in line to inherit Sonomi's multi-trillion yen company. Even the idea that Yelan would condone such an act seems strange. She not only knowingly risked her son's life to help Sakura against the water witch, but allowed Syaoran aid her in converting the cards. Another thing that is out of place is that two days after the attack, there is still no sight of Kero-chan nor Yue-- when both are able to detect when she's in danger yet don't rush to her aid seems very strange indeed. Even Kero-chan's absense when Sakura was depressed over Syaoran ignoring her is very much unlike him. She is his life, candies are his hobby. Coincedence and conveniance only explains so much. This seems highly orchestrated and I have a hunch the test is not just for Syaoran. After all, Yelan knows of Sakura's fight against the water witch and that shows that while Sakura may have the power of the cards, her mind is actually weak against spells. With the accused being a mage, a subtle spell could block her ability to cast magic. Or a powerful magician could imprint the entire rape onto her mind and never actually touch her. Even if the whole thing was designed to prove the power of the Li clan by breaking a girl 'who insulted the clan,' they would be playing a dangerous game setting both one of the strongest magic-users in the world and one of the largest Japanese companies against them.

o... m... g... This is really good... I'm absolutely speechless. I'm picking up the names as I go b/c CCS isn't really an anime or manga of my specialty, but after figuring out those small little details... once again, this is just an amazing fic that you've got.

Great Story! Very Descriptive! A few spelling mistakes but I'm no champion spelling bee winner ether! PLEASE!PLEASE!PLEASE!UPDATE SOON! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER FOR ALMOST 2 AND A HALF MONTHS NOW! This is the greatest CCS fanfic I've ever read!

This story is good because it shines light on the love that Li had for Sakura had never gone away even when the Li Elder's tried to brainwash him. The story is different from most of the normal fan fics and the Summary grabs your attention. Overall it rocks. Please write more!
