"Play Me Some More of that Old Blues" Reviews/Comments [ 5 ] | Title: Brava! Reviewed By: LadyLark [MediaMiner Member] On: February 11, 2007 12:48 CST Comment/Review: I can't think of how many times I have recommended this fic to people telling them "It is quite possibly the best Bebop fic ever." This is one of those stories that is a true Gem in its own right. Well plotted, tight action, great characterization, good technical, and just plain fun. I was happy to see this fic win for Best of the Best in the last contest. Now I just want to see it get more reviews. It deserves it. I really look forward to seeing more great stories out of you.

Just about as perfect as a Bebop story can get. Kudos!

Can you continue the adventures of the Bebop in more Fics? Love to see that

I wasn't really planning to read the whole thing in one setting! Okay, 9 for the spelling and grammar because I saw a few typos. Nothing glaring, and they didn't detract from the story. The story had me by the throat from the word go. I can see this story being used, if they ever decided to start the series again. Okay, it's a nice fantasy (I love the show, and am sorry it didn't last longer). It would be perfect. The whole thing was plausable, and so well written. I feel like a twit for gushing, but frankly, I can't help myself. You never once deviated from cannon, you stayed in character, and you didn't get skwishy with romance. It was tight, and not a single word was wasted. Everything pushed the story *relentlessly* to the inevitable ending. I loved the surprise introduction of Hollis, too. He belonged there, you just didn't know it until he introduced himself. Thank you for a wonderful read!

It captured my interest right off, and kept it. Good job keeping Faye and Jet in character, and excellent job with the showing, rather than telling (One of -my- weaknesses). So far, a well-written, professional looking manuscript. Bravo.
