Shame not many people come to my room :( Last year they were on display in the dinner hall during the Uni art week, which was nice. Most of my Art is no longer here, due to the fact Media Miner hates me, and makes it difficult for me to comment on art using my user name, and upload art, by logging me out constantly, but it still remains at my site.

I love all of the colours on the phoenix, and the effect on the sky too. I'm familliar with the phoenix in Chinese terminology, like you said, the grandest symbol for a woman, and I think this is a beautiful rendition. It's nice to see a different interpretation of the bird than the usual Phoenix of fire, so you get a cookie for that. ^^ I hope your banners have pride of place somewhere, they deserve to be shown off!
