hai hai, I was gone for a loooong time too. Even moved my stuff to another fanart archive thingy for a while. -.-; the notice was up for about a month though, I think. Aaand there was talk in the forums for a while too...
They probably should have sent a note to all emails with a registered username here, buuut... they didn't. O_o I guess they thought it would be too much work/not worth it to make a script that would notify everyone of just one big event type thing. n_n It'd be one of those one-time use things I guess, even if it is one BIG important thing, like revamping of the entire site. n_n | Title: Well...

...After the site pretty much stopped working, I stopped coming. I mean, the only reason I found out it was working again was because I suddenly got a notification that someone in my fav list did a new pic. And by the looks of my fav list, no one else still comes either. If we had had email notification, then I would of understood, but there wasn't any. And since I saw no point in going to a site that wasn't working, (couldn't view a single picture). I last came to the site to find info on an Artist who inspired a fanfic I once did. But now, I can't find the bloody info on any artists. I mean, we got email notification on everything else to do with this site, so why not the Big and important stuff? | Title: *cough*

I guess the question is more "where the hell were you?" because there were notices on the site about the transfer. ^^;
Media miner fanart wasn't working very well to begin with due to the bandwidth that was eaten with the vast number of people that visited the site, so for months on end no images loaded. They recently transfered to a new server without those problems. pics posted before the transfer should still be up and with their comments... | Title: Another queation.
