Reviewed By: AmbientBlue [MediaMiner Member] On: October 06, 2003 10:42 Comment/Review: Honestly...'the crotch thing' doesn't bother me, because most women have that. I think it strikes people as being off because it is a little exagerrated. But that space is necessary, it's supposed to be there. I really like the green spandex suit. That turned out really well. I am digging the pose.

Comment/Review: Yeah, I know the crotch thing. I had to look really close at the screen to see it but it like she is missing some pieces there. I would also like to suggest that you shouldn't concentrate on how hard her body tone should be. Let her be more like a lady but when the time comes she can show it off. Other then the crotch part it's a great piece :)

Comment/Review: This piece looks great! Heh, I notice some others mentioned the crotch thing...I actually had to look twice, because I thought it was a part of her jumpsuit painted white. ^_^; Hee hee hee...me and my preference for "round" women. LOL Anyway, the rest of the anatomy seems to work well. The fluidity of the picture seems to be missing something - her center of balance is unstable, making her seem "wobbly" on her pinioned leg rather than moving in a stable motion. The way the top half of her body is moving, combined with the motion of the hand holding the energy, she's going to want to go right on over and that leg kick out to the side. I think a background might help both the white area around the crotch and the fluidity - it'll give something for depth of shading behind her, as well as give a direction and target for movement. Still a great piece though, your coloring and line art has really come a long way! :D

Soz but she does! *_* It's already been mentioned so I'll leave the crotch thing. Her boob [on the right hand side of the pic] looks a tad odd. Maybe it's a little high... or maybe it's the way you drew so that it finishes near the top of the shoulder. Probably the latter. Apart from that, the anatomy and stuff is fine. The highlights and shadows look fine, no problem there. I think it looks pretty damn realistic! :)

Comment/Review: This is actually one of my favorite pics of yours. My favorite part os the face and how the arm and hand is placed, she looks like she's about to kick ass. The shading is excellent and the proportions are great. The gap between the legs and the crotch looks a bit odd though, a little too triangular. Also her head seems a little big from the body. Usually the legnth fromt he head to the crotch is about 3 1/2 to 4 head legnths long. In other words, the legnth of the head x4. But it's not too critical of a mistake. Also, this may just be a matter of preference but you draw your women very muscular, specifically around her abs it lookd very masculine. Maybe try smoothing them out or something? Like I said, it may be a metter of preference. The spandex is very believeable, it even looks shiney. Overall job well done ^_^

The color of the traning suit looks like spandix. I realy like the detail in the hair. And the way you used shadow to show the muscles instead of line art. The only things that feel off to me are although the head and hands are proportioned correctly to each other they seem too large for the body. The only other thing is the white tringle where her legs meet her body at the crouch. My eye is drawn to that spot instead of around the entire piece. Fanilia
