To me it was interesting that Death chose to sit next to something so vibrantly alive. Like he is looking for balance in his life or becomming tired of his role. Esp with the shackle to his scythe. Amazing work on Duo's face & hair and well all of it really. Great job.

WOw, I have been looing thru your artwork and was really impressed but this is by far my favorite, the black and white with the shot of color on the flower makes it seem like everything else is dead including Duo. If I didn't know how the series ended I would be looking for an angsty one after seeing what this hints at. Hope I haven't babbled too long. just wanted to say I really enjoyed the pic. U have great talent and should be very proud.

I really love this picture. It took me a moment to realize it was Duo, but even if it wasn't it would be an awsome picture. I really like how you put only one spot of color on the little tree in front of him.

This...is beautiful. Such perfect detail and expression of emotion and an idea...and the idea for the picture is quite original, I think. Marvelous.

this was awesome. my brother showed me this and we both agree. the way you have the budding leaves there with death sitting there crying. that was deep. you can feel how it all works, if this makes any sense. it's like, life goes on because death is working and crying. i really liked it.

........wow. I love the monochrome!! The slight color both draws my eye and gives this piece a very symbolic feel. Very nice. I absolutely adore duo's face!!! This image is so beautiful!!

Wow, amazing pic! The colors mixed in with the gray are very subtle and are not shocking. It leads me to believe that there is only that little bit of hope and that you need to grasp it before it's gone. Very touching pic! ^_^

This is REALLY nice! It almost looks like it could have been inspired by "Death Becomes Him" here on MediaMiner - have you read it? Anyway, great rendition of Duo, and WONDERFUL use of pencils.

Wow! That is an *extremely* good drawing! I adore the way you drew the wings - the shading is very precise and it's very impressive! You have great talent with pencil shading - its a very difficult medium to work well in, but you have a real mastery of it! Well done! ^^
