For some reason I would imagine this character coming out of the Fruits Basket manga or just a shoujo manga in general. He's very pretty to look at, the eyes seem to sparkle and I even love the way that you shaded his mouth. The coloring is well done, except the hair seems a little hurried. I think if you went back and spent more time on the individual strands it would clean it up a little more. Maybe work on the neck a little, too --like the other reviewers mention. But the picture is very clean and vibrant for the most part. Keep it up! :D

Awesome job on the coloring, and cool background. Try to make the lids of the eyes more of a straight-curve than a squiggly lines. once you have more control over some of the squiggliness, you would have a hell of a nice piece. The eyes seem so sad, and I love looking at those eyes. Keep up the great work!

You're quite good with coloring. It's all simple and well put together. It looks very shoujo. My main suggestion would be to smooth out the hair by smudging. It looks a little stringy compared to the softness of the rest of the pic. Otherwise good job!

Excellent use of CG coloring on this one. I love the way you've done the highlites on the hair, and done the coloring on the background. It really gives a subtle grace to the picture. The neck does seem a bit long, but that's just kind of the anime style. The only thing I would recommend is not using the burn tool for shading. I know it's quick and easy and does the job, but it leaves bits of uneveness like the shadow below the chin on the neck. See what I mean? I would probably look a bit better if you just colored that area in and blurred it on one edge. The shadow on the lower lip looks perfect, but the rest of the shadows have that uneven burnt look. I strongly recommend Dan's coloring tutorial in Drawing Help. (The Saikyo-Ryu coloring method.)

Very nice shading on the figure. The background is great I love the writing imposed in it. I love the way you did the hair/eyes. Very nice use of the program. The only thing that strikes me as off is the length/angle of the neck. It seems too long and the angle looks off.~Fanilia
