Having scanned in pencil drawings myself, I can tell you that I know what a scanner can do to clarity...playing with the contrast in a basic photo editing program usually does the trick though! I love your use of forshortening, as Neko Oni mentioned, a very tricky pose. Good use of shading and depth. The pool cue needs work, though I could be wrong (I play pool and not snooker) but I looks as though you've cut the cue down and that he's holding the end...now that may be the kind of cue they use in snooker, in which case, ignore me...other wise, that's the only thing that really needs to be worked on...^_^

Yes, the pic needs a tad bit more contrast. It would help certain things stand out more. The angle you drew is pretty hard, and I think it's an awesome try... pretty good, actually. Best thing to do is have someone pose in that way for you so you can sketch the basic lines out real quick. Tha hands are good, you seem to have that down, and most people have a really hard time with that. It's nice. More practice and send us some more! :D

Nice job on the penciling! I can see your style of art in some of your peices. But BK's right, give it more contrast so get some pencils that are 4HB, 6HB, and things like that. OR press the pencil harder for darker areas. But if you are using those pencils, then I would recommend do something about the scanner as well. Other than that, I love the foreshortening and stuff like that. VERY intersting perspective!

Lovely use of pencil. A good looking pic overall, I'm always a fan of pencil only pics ;). Though bratkittys comment on contrast is always a good point. Nice foreshortening, though there are some quirks. "his" right hand looks to small for the body behind it, his left hand is correct for the body though that should be larger as it is meant to be foreshortened. Also given the size of the que end, which has gotten a bit misshaped, the ball in front should be huge! Even bigger then it is. Maybe when you do the pre-positioning you can allocate which limbs and objects are in what "level" of foreshortening, this allows you to match sizes on different levels and even up the picture easily. Also great linework shading etc. Overall nice stuff. :) :)

I agree with Bratkitty move variation in the darks would bring a new interest to the picture. Some small detail in the pool cue, now it looks way too flat. You might want to look at pictures of how pool players stand, lean over when making a shot to help you wiht that arm bent into his midsection. Overall its different and a change.~Fanilia

Nice attempt at foreshortening here. You have an interesting angle here. You've got a lot of gray here, I might suggest adding some darker (in some places black) tones in the shaded areas to give it mroe contrast. It would help this picture really pop out. The face and the hands are nice. You should do more practice with perspective in your pics. You seem to be pretty good at it. Good job!
