Eh, this isn't bad. I like the idea, and I love the pose. The hair just doesn't look right, and the sword's blade looks quite off. If that's mechanical pencil or ebony, it isn't bad. If it's charcoal, that's wonderful. The positioning of the arms is very odd, I must say. It isn't very practical to hold a sword in that fashion, and it would appear that his left hand is drawn a bit too curved. The fingers look very nice, though.

I like this picture. Despite being black and white (which usually means messy), the shading is lovely, particularily under his eyes, in the folds of his clothing, and his hair. The expression hits it right on the spot. And the position of the hands on the sword look correct, something rare. The one suggestion I would make on this picture is that the ponytail (the way it's flowing), doesn't quite look right.
