Thank goodness! I thought I was the only one! I have been introduced to Naruto by friends who hated Sakura with passion. Keeping their words in mind, I began to read the manga. Of course I fell in love with the series. Although Sakura was annoying, whiny, and weak (as you said) she had earned my respect when she started to improve. Of course some of her uselessness still remains with her, but with out that, she'd become a complete Mary Sue. I can't say I like her, but I don't hate her. I still can't stand it when she gets paired up with anyone though. Okay, this is getting long...well I guess all I have left to say is: work on the head a bit more. Otherwise I like it the expression on her face is very well done.
