If you were able to shadow it in with a darker color it would be a lot better. I like the composition of the piece. No one figure is overshadowed by any of the others. Group pieces can be hard, you did a good.~Fanilia

Everyone really nailed the big points of this picture that I wanted to say. For the guy in the center his mouth should be darker when going further back. I like you style of drawing anime characters and I really think you should keep it up. You should get a blender which you can buy at any art supply story for your color pencils and it will help give you a smoother texture of coloring and make it more consistent. Other then that this looks really awesome and keep up the good work. ^_~ Songie

Like Dee said the open mouths are a bit distracting. I think it's they sudden bursts of red all over the piece. It could use some work on shading/light sources, but it's not to bad to make it really noticable. I like the girl in the yellow and the guy in the middle's hair. The highlights look really nice. Overall a good job! Thanks for submitting!!

Slightly baffling that is. Anywho, I think that the girl in the red shirt has inappropriately flat hair and that the guy above her is cross-eyed. Other than that I think you did a pretty good job! It's a colorful picture, and you definitely weren't stingy. It must have taken a lot of work to get this drawing together with all the colors and the various characters as well as the various character poses. Pat yourself on the back and strive for improvement, artist girl (?)!

What I like most about this is how the emotion of the image comes across, the intent of the image is clear, looks like one rambunctious lot. ;-) Very cute in their own way, nice character design. If they are meant to be comic characters you may as well start using more heavier lines for clothes face etc as that is what will be how they are seen normally, its difficult to balance clarity with detail, will be interested to see a few panels. Contrast and clear edges are critical, otherwise it can easily get washed out, remember sharp dark lines and high colour contrast… nice work.
| Title: ARG^^ Reviewed By: Keale Shinomori [MediaMiner Member] On: July 18, 2005 20:44 Comment/Review: It would be nice if the image were much bigger ^^ but anyway. The picture isn't half bad, they certainly look a lively bunch, I like the girl in the yellow top the best though, she looks to be the best drawn out of the five, nice hair. The shading and creases are a little random on the clothing and dosen't follow any specific light source, but it's colourful and fun to look at. I'm sure with development and practice your characters could turn out excellent, keep it up!
