I personally much enjoy the colouring effort put into this particular piece. I myself have the program and understand how frustrating it can be at times. But the colouring in "Sketch" is very well detailed. The colouring illustrated in the clothing is well done and the shading adds proportion to the piece. My advice is to work with the lighting technique to really bring out the shading and bring a certain 3D flare to your piece. Other than that, the colouring is smoothly and effectively done. The pic is way cute. The shading is nice and simple. If anything I think you need a little more emphasis on shadows and lighter spots in the pic. Perhaps some light reflecting of her hair and some shadows in the skin to make it look a tad more realistic. But still, nice pic. I like her clothing design.

Everything came out great! At first glance though, it looked like she didn't have an arm until I looked down and saw her hand. I know it is pretty hard to work with dark colors, especially black, to see the line art and certain objects like her arm. Maybe making it a tad lighter would help people see everything. Mostly I just love the dress and the colors you chose, great work and keep it up!

The color came out pretty well, the shadow is good for the lack of a light source, the only other things I would say then that is that mattering on the shading the eyes are a bit to dark, but that is all. The rest of it looks pretty good.

Cute… just wondering if you did a "set-out" sphere for the features of the head, though the eyes mouth and chin are quite good, the ear seems to be wondering a bit. A set out sphere also helps with the overall position of the head witch appears a tinny bit off, though it is overall very effective, nice work.

I don't really know Open Canvas since I've never used it. The coloring looks like a good start. You've laid down flat colors and added some shadow. Now though you might want to adjust the shadow after you determine your light source. Then you will need to add the hi light to it. Just a little (where there is dark there is also light)~Fanilia
