Nice composition with the characters. You have the core anatomy down, and you remembered to keep Hiei small and compact. The girl's dress looks almost see-through at the top; I'm not sure if that's intentional or if it was just an accident of shading. The one suggestion I would make would be to use less lines to define the girl's hair. You can see how well it works with Hiei to use shape rather than line to define hair - the same works for light colored hair and long hair as well. Use an overall shape and compliment it with only a select few interior lines to show motion. Hair that is stationary can also be shaded as a shape rather than as individual strands to give it more body. It's nice to see artists still working hard at traditional media, so keep up the good work.

Wow, I love the composition and the layout of characters. All the other reviewers really nailed any suggestions that you really needed. I for one love the picture and love how you worked over the pencil so smoothly to create the character. You really pull out the blacks and whites with the pencil. Awesome work! ^_~ Songie

Very nice pencil work yet again. I really like how you draw your females something about them is very appealing to the eye. Your anatomy on her is great. The male is a little less perfect. His torso seems to be a bit short, and his fist a bit small in comparison to the rest of his body. Very nice muscle detail though! Shading is spectacular as usual!! You've got a good idea of how to shape bodies dear, and I can commend you on that. Hiei's body looks fab, as if he's been working out. I have a few things that my art teachers used to tell me about shading with pencils, and that is to be *bold* dear. The more bold you are the more dramatic you'll look. And if you're afraid of loosing your picture you can always scan it and then go bolder with your shading, but whatever you're doing. It's good, keep it up dear.

You did a great job on Hiei's body. His arms and muscles look just right. I'm just wondering if his legs are little too short. Also, I agree with Fanilia that the speech bubble would have balanced the visual composition better if it were on the left of Hiei. Other than that, great work and I look forward to seeing more.

Nicely done pencil art. I like your original character. Everything looks nice. My only suggestion would be to have the speech bubble and the text on the other side. The Image is heavy on the right side when compaired to the empyt area on the left.~Fanilia \Z�
