This is a nice image; the tear is rendered wonderfully and the blood on his lip and chin is a nice touch. I would suggest a little bit of toning under his chinline and neckline, as well as some light toning underneath his bangs to help the depth of shading. Overall, you've got good expression going and the toning that you have done is great.

This is a very nice piece. I like the fact you didnt feel the need to make the head shot a full face one. Sometimes a partical face is better then the entire thing. I would suggest a more sever angle to the eyebrow to suggest how mad or upset he is. I take it he must be since there is blood coming from the corner of his mouth. Maybe a little more grit to the teeth. Overall though it is a nicely done image.~Fanilia

Very nice indeed! Miss Sadame and Armada beat me in saying it looks like something straight out of the page from a manga. It seriously does. I can only say that I would have liked to see a bit more hair on the side of his face, but that's it. Well done!

Ojamashimasu! If you wanted to go with an emotional feel, then you have got it going! I can almost see this as a panel shot for a Yu Yu Hakusho manga. ^^ The only thing I can point out in this emotionally-inspired piece is that is feels a little bland. Meaning to say, you can't exactly pinpoint what the overall emotion is--anger, sadness, frustration, or all. I believe an emotion as strong as this should also be strongly portrayed. That being said, this isn't a really bad art. Keep drawing! Lots of love and chocolate! ~Sada-chan

I really like this image; I feel as if I'm looking at a panel from a manga! I definitely feel the emotion of the character in the picture. You do have a few spots shaded, but why stop there? Of course, if you're going for the manga look, you might not want to shade too much, but maybe seeing more than one level of value in the hair could help. Also, the eye seems a little off--if his eyebrow is down in anger then usually the eyelid lowers some, and you won't see a fully-opened eye. Also, I think it might be a little far down and a little far right. I think you did a great job with the tear rolling down his cheek as well; I think it's probably the most interesting part of the piece. Overall, good work, so keep at it! ^_^
