Ojamashimasu! The haiku fits the artwork very nicely. I like how you conveyed the motion of the wind using the snowflakes/cherry blossoms. This might sound a little obvious, but it would be better to see shading and line values to your work to add depth. You should put emphasis using heavy lines and stark shadows, that sort of stuff. But overall, it's a very refreshing piece. ^_^ Lots of love and chocolate! ~Sada-chan

One thing I\'ll start out with is the size of the image - I had to scroll sideways as well as up and down when I viewed the image at full size. Also, your scanner left a bit of grey overtone - that should really be tweaked up for web presentation. All that aside, you have a promising idea started in this sketch - I\'ll echo Armada\'s sentiments in saying that it would be one-hundredfold better with depth and/or color. Find a muse to spork the lazy out of you - that\'s what works for most of us artists. ;)

I like how you've taken the haikus and made an image from them--you can really tell when you read the poems and look at the image how it matches up. I DO encourage you to add value to this image. The line work is really nice, and value would add so much more to it. Alas, I know you said you're lazy, so I can only hope the next time you draw something you shade or color it. Overall, nicely done Dumas.

This is a nice pencil sketch that fits well with the haiku. It looks really abstract because of all the four seasons into one and makes for an interesting piece. The man napping is nice, though his torso seems too long and arches up instead of down. I like the hat, though it doesn't seem to be 'totally' resting on his face. I like how you rested the hand on his chest because it gives off a serene feeling. Overall, it is a nice piece. Thanks for submitting to the FARG. =)
