I love the pastel tones and muted orange/brown theme. The entire image is bowing via the placement of all the elements including the background. Excellent. My only suggestions would be to have the writing in the bottom right corner be in all black. The coloring and the thickness of the letters is out of place in an image where everything else flows so well. I would use thin sweeping black lines in the text.~Fanilia

Ojamashimasu! Very nice pastel-like tones I see. Mmm. Somehow, the melon and the sword fails to connect with me. Meh, maybe it's just me. Okay. I think I understand your take on a little forced perspective here, but I think her head is a little small in proportion to her body. That said, this is a very good piece. Good job! Huh, this piece is very different from what I usually see. I really like the soft warmish colors you used for this drawing. The coloring skills you've got, rocks my socks off. I love the background as well. Though, her boots seems very flat compared to the stark shading of her legs, which is my only gripe with the piece. Other than that, it's a nice drawing.

I love different and dynamic poses. Wonderful work with making the image interesting, and the subtle background is great as well. I really like the use of 'cooler' colors for the skin shading when the rest of the image is definitely 'warm.' I love the shading you've done on the skin but with the way the clothing and hair is left plain it makes the image look unfinished. Still it's a great piece, and thanks for submitting to FARG! =D

I like the style of this piece. The girl's pose looks very dynamic (I'd love to know where you got the idea for a watermelon). And the light, pastel colors really sets the mood for this piece. The background also looks nicely colored, like it was painted by hand. Good job on this and thank you for submitting to F.A.R.G.

It's looking really good! I like the pose and perspective, as well as the character design itself. The coloring is also lovely. I think there could be some more details and shading in some areas (such as the boots and the melon). Still, the simplicity does add to it a little bit. But wow, short dress. xD Great pic! I don't see why those on dA didn't approve...
