The detail is nicely done. I love how the shading on the clothing incorproates both a darker colour and line art. That adds so much to it. I like the 'feel' of clouds in the background. The framing is simple and nice. I do feel though the balance is slightly off. The boarder on the left is slightly out from the hand, but the border on the right is almost touching the dress. My suggestion would be to tilt the umprella slightly to the right (as far out from the edge of the dress as the hand on the left is) to bring the character more into the center of the image. Id place the border a small space from the tip of the umbrella.~Fanilia

Comment/Review: Ojamashimasu! Oh, wow... this is simply amazing. I'd love to own a full deck of cards with your artwork, Terra-sama, because that's what this made me feel, as well as the Noir vibe. Very nice colors, picturesque coloring style, gorgeousness. Lots of love and chocolate! ~Sada-chan
| Title: yo, it's da FARG Reviewed By: Rini Saiyan-jin [MediaMiner Member] On: July 11, 2006 01:13 Comment/Review: Whoa dang, this is a really cool piece. I love how you did the lineart as well as the coloring. Both of them rock and compliment each other very nicely. The background is very well placed as it doesn't distract the viewer from the foreground. One thing I don't really like is her lips seems a bit too wide, maybe two or three pixels off each side would have done the trick, but other than that, it's really, really awesome. I especially love her dress and the umbrella.

The line art style has an animated feel to it but also reminds me of great pen/ink drawings from the Renaissance done only with line, especially with the say it's all toned in sepia. Great detailing all over the place, and the subtle background makes the whole thing feel really finished. I'm not familiar with Noir so I can't say if this is reminiscent of that art style but it's a very unique and interesting style. Great work, and thanks for submitting to FARG!

Comment/Review: Absolutely -gorgeous-. I'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to this type of artwor, when it's done right. And you have done it very right. :3 I love all the little details on the gloves and shirt. I think the only place that sets me off is the face. It seems too simple to match the rest of the drawing, which is rich with details. I think it's the lips, because the eyes seem fine to me.
