Description: Woo, this took me forever to finish. I only have myself to blame though, since I'm the one who chose to put so much friggin detail in it. Ah well, managed to get it done anyways lol. This is in no way based off my real self. Amaria is simply my persona, an read more

I really like this Amaria. I can't even begin to tell you how much you've improved in the time since I last looked at some of your work. This picture flows beautifully, and I love the sheerness of her ribbons. The detail is fantastic, and has your eyes looking all over, because there's so many attractive points. My only suggestion would be to add some shding in her skin areas. They look very flat compared to other areas, and I think adding even just cell-shading would add to it a great detail. Awesome job hun. Keep it up! :]

Unlike many artists, your characters hands are one of your strong points. They look natural on the character, and the right size. I won't touch on the hi lighting, since it is not one of my strong points, abyss is much better at that then I am. The only thing that looks off to me is the way the head is sitting on the neck. It looks just a little too forward. The sheer fabric of the ribbons, sleeves and leggings is really nicely done. And I would like to complement you on the placement of your signature. It is placed so that removing it would be hard, it does not take anything away from my enjoyment of the image.

I like the feel of the image and how her ribbons and little bows sway serenely. Her outfit's very creative and has a nice combination of calm blue hues. A few comments about the overall lighting though; if most of the lighting is coming from the bottom from where she's standing, then there should be a strong uplighting effect. That lighting effect is usually used to give the characters a more sinister look, but you can balance it out with that ball of light she has in her hand. You can use the color the ball of light to bounce off the side of her face to give her a more fantasy-ish (for lack of better words) look. Overall, it's a nice character design, but I think you still need to practice on lighting effects.
