OMG Green eyes and a little half smile, you were right when you said 'not quite realism'. The look is great, you have given him a unique look of intelligence. Not the kind you normally see in animals, but more a innocent childs intelligence. The only thing I'd have added to the image would have been a touch of very watery blue as a background frame to the head, that would have made the image ready to mat and frame. (after which you send it to me of course) This is not CC, but I must say it - I really love this piece.~Fanilia

There's not a lot I can say for improvements on this piece. Watercolors definitely are NOT my friends, and you've managed a degree of mastery of them that goes beyond my skill level. This is a lovely piece; whomever received it should be thrilled. :) I love the life you brought out of the character through the eyes and facial expression. Great work!

Watercolors, eh? That's a really good job of painting. The attention to detail is very, very good for such a medium. I have to say that I love the eyes. When I thought this was done with color pencils, I was going to say that the right side (our left) of the face, the fur seems to go straight in one direction--down. Not to mention, long strokes. If the strokes were a bit shorter, so maybe two or three rows of fur along the side; then the fur would look nicer. Besides that, it's an awesome traditional medium piece. :D
