This is a nice, emotive piece and it's awesome to see people illustrate their fan fiction. The use of spot highlighting with the crisp circles of white is fantastic, but I would have liked to have seen it paired with equal areas of spot shading for balance. However, it doesn't mesh that well with the softer, not quite cel-style shading on the rest of the piece. You may be able to create more balance in the highlights and shadows by either sharpening the overall highlighting and shading, or by using a greater range rather than just two or three tones. Also, the text is a bit jarring, and branding with a site name is a peeve of mine; I prefer to see artists use non-intrusive text in a complimentary color to the image, and working their signature into the image itself. That tends to make the text less jarring and thus makes the overall image more pleasant to look at. Keep up the good work, and keep developing your art! :)
