Artist's Commentary
Adolphus had to be able to not just love Rei, but also dedicate himself in such a way that meant not worrying about other forces round him, namely the Colation. This meant either making him seriously powerful, or just giving him the right kind of power. As an Atlantean Time Mage he can pretty do what he pleases. Fortunately, he has signficant moral fortitude. I know... Hilter's first name was Adolphus... 0_o;;; |
