Sammy smirked. "Oh, I enjoyed myself thoroughly," he assured her. Matthew squirmed against her.

She tilted her head at him.
"What did you do?"

Sammy grinned like a wolf as he started to take the condom off. "Something I've wanted to do for a long time."

Alice looked at the condom. She pushed Matthew from her. "You didn't!?!"

Sammy laughed. "His ass was in the air. I had to."

Matthew moved to her. "Alice, don't," he whispered, trying to calm her down.

Alice slapped him from her.
"We had rules! No lips touch each others' lips and no one touches you!" she snapped. "You ruined this!"

"He didn't touch me," he said quickly as he grabbed his glasses off the nightstand. "Not in the way you think. He fondled my ass. He kissed my back. He stroked himself. There was no penetration."

"You're a liar!" she screamed. Her head snapped to Sammy. "And you were suppose to be my friend! I made it clear weeks ago! He is mine! He belongs to me! How hard is that to understand?!" She back handed him across the face. Reaching for the doctor bag, she pulled out a syringe.

Matthew quickly grabbed the syringe and held her against him. This wasn't good.
"Alice," he whispered into her neck. "You know I would not hurt you. You know that Sammy would not hurt you. You know this for a fact. What I told you was the truth. So please, relax. Tonight has been long. Relax and rest."

"Don't tell me what to do!" she snapped loudly. Her eyes washed over Sammy madly. "You are not my friend! You are just like that stupid cat in Wonderland! I trusted you and you betrayed me!" She struggled to get free from Matthew. "I'm going to make you pay!"

"No, you're not." Matthew kept his voice calm and composed, almost hypnotic in the way he spoke. He held her against him as he let the syringe slid into her arm. "You are going to forget the last few minutes, and fall into a deep sleep." He pushed the liquid into her arm and kissed her neck. "And you're going to relax." The liquid was his own formula. A combination of a very weak sedative and some controlling and submissive drugs. It wouldn't knock her out completely, but it should make her easier to control for now.

Alice slumped against him. Her breathing eased and her eyes fluttered slowly
. "Stupid cat...off with your head..." she mumbled and closed her eyes as sleep took her over.

"I think you should go back to your room," Matthew suggested. Sammy nodded, rubbing his cheek while Brian scooped him into his arms and carried him to bed. Matthew did the same with Alice, sliding her onto the bed, he moved beside her, wrapping her into his arms.

Alice shot up from bed. She looked around but no one was around. Looking down at herself, she noticed she was in her hospital gown. Slowly, she moved out of her bed. She walked to her door and opened it. Gasping she noticed that outside of her room door was Wonderland. Alice stepped onto the grass, letting her bare feet feel it like home. "Hello?" she called. "Mr. Cat? Are you there?"

Something touched her shoulder and she turned around. She smiled when she noticed it was the White Queen. "Alice, I've come to bring you a message...from the Mad Hatter."

Alice's heart sped up and her breath was caught. "He's alive?"

The White Queen nodded. "Alice, something awful has happened." Her eyes were small as if Alice could see the White Queen's heart was breaking. "He's stuck in limbo along with the White Rabbit. He needs you to make a choice..."

"I don't understand...can't you just bring him back?" Alice asked.

She shook her head. "Only you have the power to free him. Kill the Red Queen and his soul will come back with the White Rabbit."

Alice smiled. "Then I will kill her and bring him-"

"There is more." Alice closed her mouth. "After you have restored Wonderland...you must never return."

"What!?!"

"The Hatter and you cannot live in the same world, Alice. You have to choose. If you wish to come back here, he and the White Rabbit can never be bound to their bodies again. Their souls will move on."

Alice shook her head with tears. "That's not fair...I love him...I want to keep him."

The White Queen placed her hand on Alice's cheek. "Innocent Alice, my sweet child, you don't belong here. It's time to let go. Save Wonderland and go back where you belong. The Hatter will never forget you...this world will forever love you." Alice cried harder. "If you choose to leave and let the Hatter live, I will grant you a goodbye with him and the others. But only for a short time. I won't let you leave without saying a goodbye."

Alice shook her head again. "I can't do this...I can't leave Wonderland forever. It's my home."

The White Queen sighed. "Then the Hatter will never live again."

Alice looked up at her but before she could say anything else, everything began to fade. "Wake up, Alice. You know what you must do...save Wonderland, rescue the Hatter. Bring peace then leave..."

Alice reached for her but she was gone. Suddenly Alice shot up from her bed breathing hard while she was covered in sweat and tears.

Matthew jolted from the bed as she moved. He grabbed his glasses and put them on so that he could look at her. "Alice? What's wrong? Are you alright?" She looked as if she'd just seen a ghost.

Alice looked over at him. For a moment, she didn't know where she was. She was dressed in a night gown and the sheets had been changed. Her hair smelt nice. Had someone bathed her? She started to cry harder when she remembered her dream. "I know how to bring him back."

Matthew hugged her to him, gently stroking her hair. "You know how to bring the Hatter back?" He didn't have to ask who. He just knew.

"I have to kill the Red Queen then never return again..." she cried. "He and I can't live in the same world. And I don't understand why!"

He stroked her, kissing her forehead, he let his lips linger there. He didn't have an answer for her. He wished he did, but he didn't. This was something she had to do on her own.

She cried against him for the rest of the night until she passed out from utter exhaustion. In the morning when she woke, her eyes were sore, as well as other parts of her. She didn't move from the bed, she just stared out the window at the sun as if she were trying to decided if getting up was worth it.

Matthew pulled her to him as she woke. Stroking her body, he moved her until she was on top of him. "How do you feel?"

"Like the Hatter just died all over again," she said honestly. "There is no hope...even when he was dead I had hope that I would one day bring him back and it would be ok...but now...I can never be with him again. I feel like my heart is being ripped from my chest..." She sighed against his chest as fresh tears washed over him. "I can't remember what happened last night. We were kissing and then I was suddenly talking to the White Queen."

"Not too much," he assured her. "You were tired from your escapade so we went our separate ways and you fell asleep."

"I don't know why I wouldn't remember that," she said. She hugged him tightly. What will she do without her Hatter? What will she do without Wonderland? How could she just leave it behind knowing that she loves it so much?

"The mind is a funny thing," he smiled. He kissed her neck, her jaw line, and finally her lips. Licking her lips, he pulled back. "Are you hungry? Do you want something to eat?"

As if on cue, her stomach growled. "Yes..." she said and sat up with a sigh. She wiped her eyes. "I'm going to go see Sammy. I want to tell him about the Hatter," she said and stood.

"Okay." He let his hand linger on her's until she pulled away. Today was his day off. They were suppose to be tearing up the house today, but he didn't mind simply spending the day relaxing. Pulling on boxers, he went downstairs to start cooking breakfast.

Alice ran her hands over her night gown, wincing as she walked. She should have known today would suck. Slowly she made her way to Sammy's room. She knocked lightly on the door.

"You can come in sweetie." Sammy knew it was her. He was getting dressed while Brian was in the shower. "How did you sleep?"

Alice looked at him. His cheek was bruised. "Did he hit you?" she asked in a soft voice. Walking over, she lightly touched his cheek. "If he did, I swear to you I'll kill him."

Sammy laughed and shook his head. "I wanted it," he assured her to keep up the charade. "I like it rough and hard; and so do you apparently."

Alice blushed and pulled her hand back. "Oh...right..." She shifted. "I'm sorry you didn't get to do much yesterday..."

"It's okay," he smiled cheerfully. "There will always be next time."

"Next time....right..." she said and blushed again. "Is...Brian ok? He doesn't think less of me does he?"

"No," he laughed. "He thinks you're adorable. He said anytime you want to fool around he'll be glad to help so long as I'm there to enjoy it too."

"I don't know if Matthew would be ok with that," she said. "He almost snapped."

Sammy wanted to let her know that he wasn't the only one. "I think he simply had a problem with the fact that he wasn't the focus. If he's in front, he should be okay."

She laughed. "Then you can try and talk him into it next time."

He smirked and nodded. "Just let me know when you want a good romp and I will."

She nodded. Suddenly she sighed. "There is something else I came to talk about..." She told him about her dream and what the White Queen said.

His eyes softened as he heard her tale. "So, if you want to stay in Wonderland he will be gone forever. If you want him to live, you can never go back," he whispered. "How sad...."

Alice nodded. "I don't know what to do...if I never go back then the Hatter can live but I'll never see him again. But if I do go back, he'll be dead and I'll still never see him again...but I'll have my Wonderland..." She shook her head. "I feel so selfish."

He smiled and motioned for her to sit beside him on the bed. "Do what you want, Alice. I'm certain that the Hatter will understand no matter what you choose."

She pushed her hair behind her ear and leaned on his shoulder, noticing she had a bandage on her shoulder from Matthew's love bite. "I don't know how I'm going to live my life without the Hatter...or without Wonderland if I choose to not go back. I don't understand why we can't live together and why I don't belong there. It's the only place I've ever really felt free."

Sammy wrapped an arm around her and hugged her. "There are many types of freedom, Alice," he told her. "I had hoped that you would feel free here. Listen, the choice is yours, but you've said it yourself on many occasions, Wonderland needs the Hatter...."

She sighed, fresh tears welled in her eyes. "This just isn't very fair."

"You know better than anyone that life is seldom fair."

She groaned. "Don't remind me." She heard the shower turn off and shot up. "I should go."

Sammy agreed, knowing that Brian was likely to flash her if he came out without a towel. "We'll talk more later," he assured her.

She nodded and wiped her eyes before rushing out and heading down stairs. With a yawn, she walked to the kitchen and hoped on the counter, wincing as her butt made contact.

Matthew smirked as she winced. "That was my first time entering from the back," he said as he moved the meat along the skillet. "It was a rather interesting experience." It was also his first time being entered at all. He would have to be careful not to wince when he sat down.

She smiled. "Next time...maybe stretch me first," she said. "You know...Sammy thinks there will be a next time."

Matthew shifted slightly at that. His back side suddenly aching. "Did he? Well, if you want there to be another then there shall." He leaned forward and kissed her, nibbling on her lips. "And next time I'll make certain you are stretched. Did you enjoy it though?"

She nodded. "I did." Her head tilted at him. "You would be ok with a second time? I mean...you didn't even want to do it the first time..."

"I think that I would be willing to give it one more shot," he told her after a moment.

"Did you enjoy it?" she asked. "I mean...sharing me and not even looking at my face?"

"No," he admitted. "If we do it again, I want to be the one you're staring at."

Alice smiled, grabbing his boxers and pulling him to her. "I would love that," she said and lightly kissed his jaw line. She stopped as she thought of the Hatter again and lightly pulled from him. It's not Matthew's heart she should worry about breaking all the time. She shattered the Hatter's. He died for her. And how did she repay him? By sleeping with another guy and Matthew? What would the Hatter think? And now...she was thinking about never giving him life again? How heartless was she?

Suddenly Alice started wailing and crying on Matthew's chest. Her heart felt tight and her body ached with heart break. How could she be so cruel to the one guy that had never ever once asked anything from her?
