Chapter 1

A land in turmoil and the hero.

 

The mystical land known as `Strawberry field' was once a very beautiful land. The blessings of the Goddess Washu were many; the waters of the `Fountain of Happiness' flowed through all the land. To protect the land were the Dragon Knights, heroic men chosen by the Goddess Belldandy. These men fought to protect and keep the peace in land, protecting the women from monsters.

 

This land, (which the women obscenely outnumbered the men) flourished for years under the eye of its ruler Queen Integra Wingates-Hellsing, who worked under the Goddesses. The folk of Strawberry Field live peaceful and happy lives for many years.

 

However an age of darkness was to come. One day Alucard, Queen Integra's `servant' became bored. A little after that a dark cloud formed over the Goddess' Tower and enveloped it. The waters from the Fountain of Happiness stopped flowing from the Tower as well. Everyone there was puzzled and none knew what to make of it…

 

The next day both the Goddess Washu and Belldandy were found. They were in the courtyard of the palace encased in solid stone with the statue of both Goddesses having six slots in the base they were placed upon. The Goddess Washu and the Goddess Belldandy were imprisoned. The Goddesses who protected and blessed the land were imprisoned in stone. The Great Priestesses and Seeresses gathered around the two imprisoned Goddesses to break their seals but they failed. The priestesses and seeresses quickly found out they need six keys to free the two-trapped Goddesses.

 

When the women thought things couldn't get worse they did when HE showed up. The Dragon Overlord, the head of the Dragon Knights. Dark Schneider. He had a message for the Queen and all the people of Strawberry Field.

 

“Dark clouds are trendy! The days of Good are gone! The powers of evil shall triumph, so let's celebrate!!”

 

The women were surprised. The Dragon Overlord, Dark Schneider had turned against the Goddesses and the land. He wanted single women in the land and he would be their king and master. If the Dragon Overlord turning against the land wasn't bad enough news Dark Schneider had ALL the Dragon Knights supporting him.

 

Tirga, the Red Dragon Knight was a smooth-talking, fast-moving weretiger. A fire-user at heart and a liking for the redheads. He was an easy convert to the Dark Schneider's path.

 

Tatewaki Kuno was the Blue Dragon Knight. He was also known as the `Blue Thunder.' The swordsman was so full of himself considering himself to be the world's greatest warrior and Kami-sama's gift to women. Dark Schneider promised Kuno the fair lady, Akane Tendo, and the mystical `pigtailed girl' Tatewaki was very eager to fall into the Overlord's ranks.

 

Ataru Moroboshi was the Green Dragon Knight. He was a pervert through and through. Many people of the land questioned his qualifications to be a Dragon Knight. He was the first to fall into the Dragon Overlord's ranks with promise of women and wine.

 

The White Dragon Knight was Mamoru Chiba. A knight with tuxedo for his outfit he had a thing for roses and young, pretty girls. The tuxedo-wearing pervert was promised the cutest ladies of the kingdom and he accepted Dark Schneider's offer.

 

Ashram was the Black Dragon Knight an considered the greatest and strongest of them all. What puzzled many people was the fact that he sided with Dark Schneider despite him being a honorable man who had tremendous physical, mental, and spiritual strength. What the people did not know was the fact that Dark Schneider was feeding him lies of what was truly happening in Strawberry Field Ashram wanted to help. With his lady, Pirotess by his side Ashram was willing to help keep peace in the land.

 

The last knight was Xellos who was the Chartreuse Knight. He was a Trickster Priest who loves to cause trouble and annoy people. Xellos has a liking for his fellow priestesses and a rather strange relationship with a certain red-haired sorceress. Once the Priest found out who was behind Dark Schneider (Who happened to be Alucard, a rather bad ass and the Dragon Overlord was interesting to watch) Xellos was more than happy to switch sides to cause chaos.

 

In time Dark Schneider and his Dragon Knights took residence in the Goddess Tower with the White Sword and the keys to the Goddesses Belldandy and Washu's seal there seemed to be no hope. The lands of Strawberry Field would belong to Dark Schneider and his men FOREVER. Every female warrior who tried to free the Goddesses was never heard from again.

 

When all seemed lost to the women of Strawberry Field the Great Priestess, Sylphiel had a vision. A Prophecy.

 

“When darkened fields are stripped of flowers, and leaves, out of season, begin to change, the moon shall light our waking hours, and the hero shall come forth from the Southern Range.”

 

After the prophecy the Queen and the people waited for a hero for a long time…

 

Tonight in the Southern Range a hero was making his way. The young man was a traveler who had been fighting monsters non-stop. This man was making his way to Strawberry Field as he had heard of the women being oppressed and enslaved. This young man was on his way to free the land of Strawberry Field.

 

The identity of the traveler was Ranma Saotome.

 

Next Chapter

Ranma Saotome has arrived in the lands of Strawberry Field and he meets his first companion. Who will it be?

We also get a glimpse to his past and why he is here.

This is my first so be kind and please no flames. I will do my best to write this so please be kind to me thank you. There are a few other ideas running in my head so I will try to get those out as well.

If there is a few readers to the Anime Adventure this is a thread called Dragon Knight. I will not copy word for word. There will be changes to it plus a little more detail to the chapters following this one.
