Chapter 2

The Hero and the Elf.

 

Ranma Saotome was traveling to Strawberry Field to free the two Goddesses trapped by the corrupted Dragon Knights. His deep blue eyes scanned the forest he was walking as he traveled through the woods. If one were to look into his eyes you would catch a hint of deep sadness and betrayal.

 

He was traveling to this land to free the Goddesses Washu and Belldandy for a couple of reasons.

 

The first of which was that people were in danger and it was the duty of a martial artist to help those who needed it. Ranma thought about that reason and realized he was not a martial artist but a warrior now ever since that battle.

 

The second of which was that if he freed the two imprisoned Goddesses they might remove his water triggered curse that kept on turning him into a very beautiful and buxom redhead of the female species.

 

The last reason was the Blue Dragon Knight that kept stalking his female form for her so-called love and trying to kill his male form since the dense knight kept on thinking his male form had enslaved his female form.

 

It didn't help when he put the Dragon Knight into the hospital for three months for trying to kill his male form and grope/seduce his female form. Of course the government official that visited him and warned him that if he did that again he would be locked in his female form and given to the perverted Tatewaki Kuno. Ranma was angry and it showed. The government official explained that their country would lose any war it had with the corrupt Dragon Overlord and his knights. If it was necessary to prevent war Ranma would be locked in his female form in which everyone agreed to even Akane, Ranma's fiancée. After that Ranma's life went from the first level of hell to the ninth level of hell.

 

It also didn't help matters when Kuno offered a large amount of money to his father to engage Ranma's female form to the Blue Dragon Knight. When Tatewaki Kuno learned that Genma was the pigtailed girl's father and what kind of man he was the Knight knew he had the perfect way for her to be his.

 

When Ranma learned of the arrangement he put Genma into the hospital and fled the country with all his belongings. Ranma knew that if Kuno pressed his claim to the Japanese government he would soon be locked in his female form and given as a peace offering to Kuno. It didn't help matters when Akane tried to knock him out so they could do that to Ranma. Akane just said better Ranma than her.

 

At that point Ranma realized that Akane thought of him as nothing but a piece of property, punching bag, and perverted freak. Realizing Akane never loved him Ranma left without visiting his mother because he knew that she would support Genma and the government.

 

By the time Genma and everyone knew he was gone the government had put on a large bounty on his head for his capture alive. When Ranma learned of the bounty he realized that he had to go to Strawberry Field and take on the Dragon Overlord and his knights so he could live his life.

 

Little did Ranma know that two events are about to occur. One is the normal chaos that happens and the second is since that women outnumber men so much in Strawberry Field they would try to make him theirs.

 

Women in Strawberry Field did not mind sharing a nice man with others since men in this land were so rare. And so our poor hero was on his way to confront the corrupted knights.

 

As Ranma traveled through the forest in the Southern lands of Strawberry Field he encounter monsters in the forest. Ranma was getting tired of fighting these orcs that appeared as he made his way through the forest. With a few punches and kicks the orcs were left for dead in forest as he walked. The orcs stood no chance as Ranma was not going to let a bunch of monster stand in his way of a cure to his curse and his chance at a life.

 

“Man….” Ranma groaned as he stretched. “How many of these damned monsters are there? They multiply faster than rabbits.”

 

Ranma spoke to nobody in particular and was kind of surprised when a female voice answered him. “There's a lot but you have managed to kill the majority of them and with your fists. Now that is impressive.”

 

Hearing that voice Ranma got into a stance facing the direction from where the voice came from. “Show yourself.” Ranma ordered.

 

The owner of the voice did show herself. The woman jumped out of the treetops and landed near him. The woman who landed near him had blonde hair and blue eyes not to mention pointed ears. She was dressed in green with leather armor that showed off her slender legs. Ranma had to admit that she had some pretty cute ears.

 

“So who are you?” Ranma asked.

 

“My name is Deedlit.” The Elven woman introduced herself and smiled brightly at the young man.

 

“Deedlit?” Ranma asked. When the Elven woman nodded Ranma gave her the classic woman-swooning Saotome smile. He held at his hand and introduced himself. “The name's Ranma. Ranma Sao..er.. just Ranma. Please to meet ya'.”

 

Deedlit caught Ranma's slip as he introduced himself but she saw his smile and her heart leapt as her cheeks turned cherry red. At last a man and not one corrupted by Dark Schneider and followed the Dragon Overlord. She shook Ranma's hand.

 

“Pleased to meet you.”

 

When the man and Elven woman were done shaking hands Ranma asked. “Why are you here?”

 

Deedlit crossed her arms below in front of her chest. “I could ask the same thing.”

 

Doing his trademark gesture of being embarrassed by scratching the back of his head Ranma answered, “I'm here to free the Goddesses Washu and Belldandy.”

 

That was one answer the elf was not expecting as she blinked in surprise.

 

“You are?”

 

Ranma nodded. Deedlit just knew he had to be the prophesized one. It was night and the moon was full. He was studl…I mean a hero. He even admitted he was here to free the two imprisoned goddesses, and that meant the land as well.

 

Deedlit was in her dream world as little hearts and flower petals were floating around her. This made Ranma nervous since he knew what that meant.

 

Ranma coughed so the hearts and flower petals would stop and asked the one single question.

 

“Where can I find the two goddesses?”

 

Deedlit was rudely awakened from fantasy of her and Ranma together in bed. She pouted and realized what he had asked.

 

“Huh?” Deedlit registered the question. “I can take you to them.”

 

“You can? Gee Thanks!” Ranma excitedly said.

 

“Yes but they had been imprisoned even thought they had been returned to us.”

 

Deedlit watched as Ranma's face sadden at that piece of news. The elf was hoping that he would ask her to guide him on his quest. Deedlit so badly wanted the Wild Stallion…she means to help Ranma on his noble quest.

 

“Then let's go.” Deedlit said.

 

Ranma nodded and both walked through forest. Ranma's blue eyes hardened to chips of ice as he followed the elf through the forest. His face was hard as stone when he realized that he would have his revenge against Kuno and those who had betrayed him.

Next Chapter

Ranma and Deedlit encounter some trouble in the next trouble that is so dense you could knock and get an echo off his head. DOOOONNNNGGGG!!!
