Chapter 6

Battle, Surprises, and What the Heck?

 

`I finally found him.' The red haired woman thought to herself excitedly. `The man that dishonored our country and the million gold piece bounty.'

 

The blonde woman supporting the wounded and now unconscious woman was staring at Ranma and Deedlit with a look of surprise on her face.

 

`A man and an elf helping us. Now this is a surprise.' The blonde thought to herself.

 

“I thank you two for your help for saving my companions, elf, sir.” The person in armor said.

 

“Welcome, now let's complete job.” Deedlit said.

 

“The knight is mine.” Ranma ran and leapt over the monsters there landing behind them.

 

Unnoticed to all another pair of observers were watching. Mamoru, the White Dragon Knight, and Xellos, the Chartreuse Dragon Knight was watching.

 

“Do you think we should get involved, Xellos?” Mamoru asked.

 

“No, our job is to follow Ranma to the princesses.” Xellos looked out of the corner of eye. “Besides I want to see what this Ranma can do.”

 

“It's beginning.”

 

On the field of battle Deedlit had cast a massive confusion spell on the monsters and due to their Kuno-like denseness they were killing each other with help from the person in armor, the red haired woman, and Deedlit's sword.

 

While Deedlit and the other two warriors were decimating the Red Knight's little army Ranma was occupying him.

 

Tirga took out his Mace of Fire and an aura of fire began to surround him. Tirga smirked at his foe when his smirk disappeared as fast as it appeared. Right about now Tirga was seeing a white-blue aura surrounding his enemy.

 

Tirga quickly launched fireballs at Ranma who quickly ran towards him and soon was to close for long range attacks. Tirga tried braining Ranma with his mace, which Ranma kept on dodging by a few inches. Ranma would have ducked the mace by an inch but there was still that fire aura.

 

`Now.' Tirga flared his aura into explosions all around him, which engulfed the young pigtailed warrior.

 

Deedlit and the two other warriors had just finished killing the last of the monsters when she heard the explosions. Her eyes widened and tears started to form in her eyes.

 

“RRRRAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAA!!!!!” The elf shouted.

 

“Don't worry good looking. You won't join him barbecuing in hell. Just before I left Kuno was going on and on about his Golden haired Elven Enchantress.” Tirga smiled. “The woman with red hair is mine but you will be going to Kuno.”

 

The weretiger turned his attention to the blonde woman supporting her companion.

 

“Arshes Nei will be returning to her master, Sean Ari.” Tirga turned his head to the person in armor. “Kai Harn.”

 

All the women's attention was on the Red Dragon Knight and he was ignoring the inferno that was consuming the ground behind him. So it was understandable when everyone was surprised by a voice.

 

“I don't think so pal.”

 

Deedlit gasped and smiled when she saw her hero walking out of the flames. There were a few burns but what grabbed every woman's attention was the rock hard muscled chest he was showing since his shirt was destroyed. A few frowns crossed their faces that the pants were not destroyed as well. Plus you have to admit the giant white aura surrounding him made him look like a man from the heavens.

 

“HHH-HH-HHOOW?!” Tirga stuttered. “HOW DID YOU SURVIVE!?”

 

“You might be a strong fire magic user Knight where you come from but compared to Saffron you are a wimp.” Ranma then had an evil smile that made Tirga flinch. “Now it's my turn.”

 

Deedlit gasped. She had heard a human warrior had killed the Phoenix Godking but never in her wildest imagination would have thought it was Ranma. She gasped at the power reading she was getting off of Ranma.

 

`Incredible. So much power.'

 

“POWER GEYSER!!!!”

 

A white blue column of energy erupted from Ranma's fist as he hit the ground. The gigantic wall of energy flashed to the weretiger as he was engulfed in the attack. Soon the energy exploded sending the Red Dragon Knight flying into the sky.

 

A red twinkle fell from him and landed by Ranma's feet. The red twinkle turned out to be a red orb. Ranma gently picked up the red orb.

 

“The Ruby Orb.” Sean Ari gasped in recognition. “One of the six keys imprisoning the Goddesses.”

 

“Are you sure?” Deedlit asked. When Sean Ari nodded Deedlit smiled. “That's one of six, Ranma.”

 

“So that's what this is.” Ranma said. “Not quite Deedlit.”

 

Deedlit was puzzled as Ranma searched through his pack that he left near Sean Ari and the wounded woman. When he was done searching through his pack he turned around. Deedlit and all the women gasped at what he held in his hands.

 

In his left hand was the recently acquired Ruby Orb but what surprised everyone there was the identical orb in his right hand. Well it was identical except for color. It was a deep blue.

 

“The Sapphire Orb.” Deedlit gasped. “How come you never told me you had this Ranma.”

 

“Because I never knew what it was Deedlit.” Ranma sheepishly said while shifting his weight. “I kept it since Kuno dropped it, Deedlit.”

 

“This is fantastic news.” Kai Harn replied. “Two of the six keys are now in our possession.”

 

The red haired girl finally spoke up. “Not quite. I'm here to take in Ranma Saotome to the proper authorities in Japan.”

 

The man groaned in exasperation. “Not another damn bounty hunter.”

 

“I'm not a bounty hunter. I'm from the Elite Imperial Samurai Guard.” The red-haired girl said. “My name is Ryoko Mitsurugi. I'm here to take you so you can stop dishonoring and betraying our country.”

 

Ranma's next reaction was strange but considering the load of bull that he heard from the girl it was all he could do. He was laughing like crazy.

 

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!! That's rich. I betrayed and dishonored Japan. What a joke!! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!” Ranma finally stopped laughing.

 

“Stop laughing criminal. It is my duty to take you back so you can face punishment for your crimes.” Ryoko was really getting steamed at Ranma's reaction.

 

“Sorry Ryoko-san, it's not you I'm laughing at but the load of bull you were fed.” Ranma said his face suddenly serious. “I never betrayed or dishonored my country.”

 

Ryoko stepped back from the glare Ranma was giving her.

 

“The one who was betrayed and dishonored was I Ryoko-san.” Ranma quietly said. “Because I have a Jusenkyo curse that turns me into a woman plus the fact that Kuno has his insane obsession about it made it easy for the government of Japan to make me a peace offering to the Blue Dragon Knight. In fact when I put Kuno in the hospital for three months I was threatened by the government that if I did that again they would lock me in my cursed form and give me to Kuno as an apology and a way so they won't have to fight Dark Schneider.”

 

“You lie.” Ryoko quietly said.

 

“No I don't Ryoko.” Ranma disagreed. “Why else would all the countries I tried to settle in after my family and friends betrayed me pool their resources and put a one million gold piece bounty on my head?”

 

Sean Ari and Kai Harn gasped. They had heard of the Million Gold Piece Bounty but never in their wildest dreams think they would meet him.

 

“It's because all those governments including our own are too scared to fight Dark Schneider and his Dragon Knights.” Ranma answered for Ryoko. “Thanks to Kuno I have a million gold piece bounty on my head because all the governments are to scared to do anything about Dark Schneider.”

 

“It can't be true. It just can't be.” Ryoko said. Ryoko charged at Ranma and gasped as Ranma grabbed her left breast. “PERVERT!!!!!”

 

Ryoko tried to attack Ranma but couldn't. She was frozen stiff and her white, pale face told everyone her fears.

 

`I lost and with what he did to Tirga he could have killed me easily but he didn't. Why? Is what he said the truth? About our home country and the others? I have to know.' Ryoko thought to herself. `I have no choice. I must become Ranma's servant to find the truth.'

 

“Before you ask I paralyzed you with some pressure points. Now you have lost the match Ryoko. I'm not going to kill you or anything like that since you are just following orders.” Ranma said as he walked away. “The pressure points will wear off in 3 hours.”

 

“Stop. Please.”

 

Ranma turned around and saw the girl crying..

 

“Yes, Ryoko.”

 

“Lady elf, help me kneel.” Deedlit walked over and soon Ryoko was on her knees. “I hereby swear myself to be your servant, Ranma-sama.”

 

“WHAT!? WHY?” Ranma shouted.

 

“I need to find out if what you said was true Ranma-sama.” Ryoko answered. “Besides if you really wanted to you could have killed me quite easily, my lord.”

 

“Alright, your oath is accepted Ryoko. But know this.” Ranma paused. “You could die for trying to learn the real truth. Are you sure you still want to do this, Ryoko?”

 

“Yes Lord.”

 

Ranma walked over and released his new servant from her paralysis. Ryoko stood up and rubbed her limbs shaking the numbness away.

 

While this was happening Sean Ari had managed to heal the wounded woman.

 

“Ohhhhh. What did I miss?” A new female voice asked.

 

As Kai Harn just began to answer the now awakened woman a scream interrupted the armor wearing person.

 

“IT CAN'T BE!! ARSHES NEI!?”

 

“DEEDLIT!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?”

Next Chapter

Ranma finds himself with a new servant who needs to learn the truth about their home country. Plus Deedlit and Arshes Nei know each other from where?

Still working on this fic plus Star Marshal. I think this chapter is better than my last one. Or at least I hope so.
