I am really sorry that it took me so long to finish up this epilogue...here comes the proper lemon that I dare not post on the FF.net. Those of you that are members there already know what I mean...the admin are a bunch of ass.... that delete our stories continousely. Anyway, enjoy this little piece...I am quite satisfied with the way it turned out. And do please leave me a rewiew before you go to read something else, no?

- Epilogue-

Rei felt dead tired as he woke that following morning. He hadn`t slept much tonight either, nightmares of that time Tala and Kai fought were still haunting him. They had for a whole year now..Not to mention nightmares of the times Tala raped him. He was so sick of nightmares that he wanted to just scream at them to go away. Rolling onto his side he lay facing his love. Soft, bluish hair fell into the now closed purple eyes that Rei held so dear.

Wanting to sigh and rolled over again, not baring to face the man he loved right now. He felt like being alone somewhere cold and dark, a lonely place was where he deserved to be. Everything that had happened to Tala was his fault...not to mention that long and terrifying scarr that ran along Kai`s side from the knife.

He didn`t deserve to be with someone as great as Kai. Why had the Russian chosen to be with him in the first place? When depressive thoughts like these began to invade his head he found it impossible to push them away and remain himself. He reverted to his old self, the one that had been pushed around, abused and weak. For Kai`s sake he was trying to be strong, but it was so hard-so hard after one of those everlasting nightmares.

Weeping silent tears he lay motionless, staring at the black wall in front of him. This was Kai`s room-they were living with his mother. She had refused to let Kai move out until he was twenty, though the stoic teen had merely snorted at her atempts to hold him back. Rei knew better, he could tell that Kai wanted to stay in this house for a while yet. Erika had been so protective and loving towards Rei aswell, taking him in and treating him as if he was her own flesh and blood. Sometimes he would stay the night awake with her, talking about their own past and secrets they had been keeping from others. She was so down to earth and funny that it was a pleasure to spend time with her. And when she wanted an assistant for her shopping,which Kai blankly refused of course Rei always volunteered-knowing he would have a pleasant time with the grown woman. She acted just like a high-schooler at times, and always did she make Rei feel better about himself.

He could need her company now...he was feeling like shit.

" Rei...Are you awake already? It`s only six in the morning”, mumbled Kai sleepily as he pulled his love into his arms for warmth. Rei gave no answer, and Kai instantly knew his boyfriend was in the gloomy mood again.

" Go back to sleepRei...You sleep way too little, it`s not healthy for you”, he whispered into the neko`s ear before pressing kisses to his neck.

“ I can`t sleep Kai, I`m sorry to disappoint you. I....keep disappointing everyone".

There was a bitterness to the voice that didn`t pass him by. He hushed Rei as he was about to say something again, holding him close. “ There is no need to speak Rei, I know how you feel....Just let me hold you, kay?”

Rei nodded weakly and turned around to lay facing him instead. Kai pressed a single kiss to his forehead and gently rubbed their noses together in affection. Normally this gesture would make Rei purr...The fact that he didn`t confirmed his state of mind.

“ I love you, don`t ever forget that”, Kai whispered before drifting off to sleep again.

“ I won`t forget Kai....And don`t you forget who I am”

Even if they had been togetherfor about a year now Kai was still very careful when it came to what they did and did not do. Even when they were making out and both majorly turned on Kai would not allow himself to go any further than just touching each other. He knew what Rei had been through, and not wanting to rip those old wounds open again he pushed Rei away everytime he felt they were going too far. The neko always frowned and asked why he was doing it- golden eyes begging to ignore that stupid rule of his and go on. And when Kai pushed him away and refused to kiss him anymore Rei wanted to slap him and shout that he was okay, he wanted for them to go further. But Kai usually shook his head and told him to go to sleep. Didn`t Kai understand that he wanted to go to the next stage, that it hurt when Kai rejected him? He....needed to do it, he needed to get rid of the memory of Tala. He knew Kai would never hurt him the same way Tala had done, the bluenette was too gentle and too kind-hearted when with him. He may be cold to everyone else, but when with Rei he seemed to drop his act and come out of his shelter.

At school no one dared mock or tease Rei anymore, heck-they barely dared talk to him even because he was with Kai. In the start when he returned to school after the incident with Tala both the boys and the girls had been glaring at him as if he was the black plague itself. That was, until Kai had shouted out loud to gain everyone`s attention before declaring that he had an announcement to make. In the next moment he had kissed Rei full on the lips, tongue included. To say..everyone had been shocked, the teacher had given both boys detention for two weeks. After that some of the other students didn`t seem to mind him as much as before. A couple of the girls had even asked him what it was like to be with a boy( those were yaoi fans from what he could tell, as they always would urge him to kiss Kai or make out...once a short girl with brown hair had wanted them to feel each other up....in the classroom. Both Kai and Rei had blankly refused of course, earning pouts).

Rei snuggled closer to his sleeping boyfriend, pressing his face into the bare chest of Kai. The Russian smelled so nice, he thought with a slight smile. Kai always chuckled when he said that- stating that he didn`t smell anything out of the ordinary really. Rei always protested and tackled him to the ground, sniffing his hair and neck in demonstration. He loved Kai, he really did. His boyfriend was sweeter than Tala had used to be at times. But Rei knew it would take some time before he could learn to fully trust Kai. His past with Tala had seen to that.

It had been all quiet in the house when Kai returned home that evening. He had been out looking for insiration to write a new poem..and it had turned late before he realised he should get home. Inside the house the lights were turned off, and he locked the door after entering. His mother was away for the weekend with her new boyfriend. Kai didn`t mind, he wouldn`t have a father no matter what anyway..So as long as his mother didn`t expect him to treat her guys like `fathers`he was satisfied. She never did though. Kai had never had a father, he had left before Kai could get a chance to even remember him. Not that he minded that either. It was freaky to admit...but that crazy mother of his had actually been all he needed through his childhood and teenager years. Of course he loved her..just in his own way.

Walking through the hall he found that there were lights lit still in the living room. Had Rei not gone to bed yet? It was past midnight already.... Oh fuck, why had he returned so late? He should know better than to leave Rei alone in the middle of the night with his depressions. He knew Rei hated more than anything to be alone, even if he refused to admit it..Sometimes he would even protest and say that he did want to be alone, Kai suspected that he was trying to act strong. Didn`t he know that Kai thought he was the strongest person in the world?

Entering the living room of the house he stopped in his tracks, his facial expression turning into one of mild surprise as he let his eyes glide across the room. There were candles lit on every table, the small flames being the only source of light in the dark. Watching how the air made the sparks of light dance and glow he became lost in the motion. Purple eyes widened as a pair of arms found their way around his waist, hugging him longingly. Upon hearing a soft purr he relaxed into the arms, knowing that it was Rei. He leaned into the chest of the neko jin, a simple smile gracing his lips as Rei purred into his ear comfortably.

“ I missed you today. I`m glad you`re back home now”, whispered the longhaired boy, letting go of him to pad across the room over to the couch. Kai had his eyes glued to his love, the feline-like moves making something stir within him. Rei seemed somehow...sexy tonight he decided, following with slight hope for a session of making out.

Once Kai settled on the couch between the cushions Rei crawled over, occupying his lap-knees at each side of Kai`s hips. He leaned suggestivily closer, amber eyes never letting go of purple ones. Kai said nothing while it was happening, pondering upon what the neko could be up to in his own quiet mind.

“ I bet you missed me too. Am I right?”

“ Yes”

“ Then we better do something about that now that we are together again, no?” he whispered seductively, starting to purr again. Kai was already feeling more aroused by the second as Rei pushed against him, letting his soft, pink lips trail kisses along Kai`s neck.

“ Rei...God, I love you...You were sad earlier today. How come you are trying to get me turned on now?” he asked in a serious tone, gripping Rei`s wrists to make eyecontact between them once again. There was no answer in those amber orbs, the light from the candle making them seem like swirls of different shades and colours.

“ I need to show you that I can.....That you are the person in my heart now. And I will not let you reject me tonight”

The firmness to his voice made him seem less boyish and more mature, and Kai was taken aback by the determination his expression held. Rei wanted for them to sleep together, he had known for a while... The problem had always been that Kai had pushed him away. Of course he wanted to, he just didn`t think Rei was ready for it. But here the neko was-sitting on his lap looking all sexy. When Kai said nothing in response Rei reached up his hands to undo his hair, letting the silky raven locks fall down his shoulders and back. Since that time Rei had his hair cut by those bullies it had grown back out, now to be even longer than it had used to. Kai loved that hair, it felt so soft and nice to stroke, and when they were cuddling Rei would always undo his hair for the Russian, letting him toy with it as he pleased. Kai twirled a lock of raven hair around his finger, holding it there for a moment before letting go. All the time Rei kept staring at him with his cat-like eyes.

“ If you wish for it so badly.......Then alright", he said in a whisper, voice getting thicker from lust.

“Then I suggest we blow out the candles and hit the bed”, Rei smirked, moving off his lap to do said thing. Kai watched him with interest as he moved around the living room swiftly, blowing out the candles-smoke stirring the darkness.

The bed went down slightly as Rei fell onto it, followed closely by Kai. The two lay together on the matress umoving for a moment, listening to the sound of each other`s breathing. Rei reached up a hand, cupping Kai`s chin and cradling his face in his palm. Kai closed his eyes to the soft touch as Rei ran his thumb over his cheek in a soothing fashion before pulling the Russian further down on him. Kai shuddered as a wet tongue made contact with his cheek, marking Kai as the neko jin`s own. He looked slightly dazed as he opened his eyes again, staring into two amber orbs sparkling with love and want.

“ Forever yours, forever mine”,whispered Rei, a playful smirk playing on his lips. Kai leaned down, his breath on Rei`s face as he slowly pressed their lips together in a soft kiss. Rei sighed happily and lay unmoving as Kai kissed the corners of his mouth, moving on to kiss his jawline and nose, planting kisses all over his face lovingly.

Rei`s breathing was shallow from excitement as Kai`s hand found its way under his shirt, stroking the soft skin there. His fingertips brushed over Rei`s stomach, barely touching. The ravenhaired arched his back upwards into the faint touch, at the same time a small smile slipped across the Russian`s lips. He moved his hand further up, trailing circles on the smooth skin before withdrawing to unbutton it. Rei bit his lip almost nervously as the buttons were undone-one by one. In the end his shirt was tossed away and left in a heap on the floor somewhere. Rei couldn`t be bothered to see where it landed.

His fingers came up to tangle themselves in Kai`s hair as the Russian dipped his head lower to kiss Rei`s torso, the tip of his tongue touching. God, he so badly wanted this. He wanted to stop the foreplay....there had been foreplay before, and this time he didn`t require or want it. But he let Kai take his time, slowly feeling more and more aroused as those lips brushed against his skin, leaving small,red marks.

Kai slowly removed Rei`s pants, pulling them off and piling them neatly-to Rei`s great annoyance. Why did his boyfriend have to be such a perfectionist when it came to the clothes? Kai noticed the annoyance as if he had read his mind and smirked slyly.

“ You want me to go fast, do you not?” he asked huskily as he lowered his weight onto Rei`s body again, nipping at his throat hungrily. Rei titled his head backwards and muttered a incoherent `yes`before moaning softly.

A pouty look came to Rei`s face as he was left naked on the bed. He felt a bit nervous under the stare of the Russia as he ran his eyes over his body. Kai smiled, pressing a kiss to his chest again.

“ You`re beautiful Rei...every inch of you”,he whispered, running his fingers over the red scarrs on Rei`s legs and wrists, scarrs from his past relationship with Tala. Rei felt ashamed to let Kai see them at all....They were ugly, they made him ugly. Kai could tell what he was thinking and shook his head.

“ Never....”, he said and kissed Rei`s arm,making the neko blush.

“ Kai....It is unfair that you are dressed while I am not. Get undressed too before I do it for you".

Kai chuckled at the tone. Rei could be presistent when needed, not to mention even more stubborn than himself. Kai unbuttoned his own shirt slowly, taking his time to tease the neko jin, who was now writhing slightly on the bed, feeling uneasy.Then off came his pants next...and lastlyy his boxers and socks. Can`t forget the socks you know!

Rei felt his heart speed up as Kai pressed against him, all skin touching now, warmth shared. The raven haired could feel the beat of his love`s heart through the proximity of their bodies. He smiled and hooked an arm around Kai`s neck to pull him closer. Kai kissed him on the mouth again and looked uncertain for a moment, doubt stirring in his lovely eyes.

“ It`s okay, I`ll be fine Kai. You go ahead”.

“ I..never slept with anyone before Rei”

“ I know, but don`t worry about it....I`ll tell if there is something-anything wrong at all. Please?”

Kai nodded. To some extent he knew what he was supposed to do and what was to come. But it was frightening and he felt like a helpless child. Nervous as hell he covered his fingers with saliva and hooked one arm under Rei`s knee to raise it a bit. Rei nodded at him and closed his eyes, preparing himself.

`Now or never`Kai thought and took a deep breath as he pushed one finger inside. Rei hissed lowly and started kissing his cheeks, assuring his love that he was just fine. Kai buried the finger deeper before adding another, scissoring Rei carefully, or as carefully as he could manage.

“ Ah God...It`s been way too long since last time I slept with anyone....Keep going!”

Feeling encouraged by what Rei said he kept stretching him rythmically with his fingers. When he thought he was enoug he withdrew them and looked down at Rei again. He himself was feeling lusty and wanting, like there was something burning inside of him and he needed to put out that fire.

“ You ready?” he asked huskily.

“ Yeah.....I am...”

Kai felt scared again as he pushed himself inside, feeling heat surround him comfortably. The corners of Rei`s mouth twitched as his jaw set. His fangs crept over his bottom lip to chew on it. Kai hushed him, their fingers lacing together as he buried himself completely inside the ravenhaired. Rei frowned and gave a nod as Kai waited a little to let him adjust to the feeling of the intruder in his body.

“ Okay....I think I`m okay now”.

Kai gave a short nod and covered Rei`s mouth with his own, his tongue sweeping over the bottom lip. Rei gasped into his mouth as Kai started rocking his hips, pulling out to slam back inside. Adrenaline was running in his veins, and despite the familiar hurt the action caused he concentrated on the pleasure mixed with it instead. Kai let himself act on his instincts and emotions as his body took over and left his mind in the background. He had to admit..It felt rather good to bury himself in the heat of the goldeneyed boy. He moaned softly in his throat, his hand gripping onto the bedcovers. Looking down at Rei he could see his lover`s eyes being just as clouded by passion and want as his own must be right now.

“ Bea..utiful Rei”

“ My Kai...God, go on!”

Kai smirked at the demanding tone of his voice and did as requested, quickening his pace, going deep and fast. Rei titled his head backwards and let out a muffled cry, hands gripping tightly hold of Kai`s shoulders as he was trying to catch his breath. There was no uneasiness left now, only the pleasureable feeling of the close contact between them. Kai murmured something inaudible, dipping his head low to taste the skin on his lover`s cheek and neck, nipping at it gently. Rei purred in appreciation, arching his body upwards to push Kai further into him. He let out a soft moan at the sweet feeling, pearls of sweat forming on his forehead from the heat radiating off their bodies. Kai hooked a hand under his knee and lifted his leg further up, speedinh up his pace to an uncontrolable ride that made a coat of sweat form on his skin, it dripped frm his forehead and onto Rei`d neck and shoulders. He was seeing stars as he reached his height, spilling his warm, white seed insidethe ravenhaired boy who dug his fingers into Kai`s shoulders, biting his lip hard.

“ Nnn...Oh”.

Rei never thought he felt anything this powerful before, not even when he had sex with Tala back then....It was tearing him apart, pleasure beyong knowledge as he let out a cry and sunk his teeth into the Russian`s shoulder, biting hard and deep. Rei came all over his stomach, covering them both in sticky white liquid. Kai cried out in pain from the deep bite, mixed with the same pleasure he had just felt.

Kai collapsed and lay panting on top of him, chest rising and falling unsteadily. Rei was trying to catch his own breath, inhaling deeply to steady his pounding heart.

“ Hm...Rei”, murmured Kai, his face pressed to the neko jin`s chest as he kissed the soft and sweaty skin, tongue darting out to lick away the salt sweat. Rei sighed contently and wrapped his arms around the larger male. Kai made a move to pull out, but Rei held him there, eyes half closed from exhaustion.

“ Stay...You`re warm”.

“ We`re going to sleep like this?” Kai asked in slight disbelief.

“ Hm...Yes, hush now”.

Moments later Rei was sound asleep. Kai chuckled, and one of those rare smiles could be seen on his face. Only for Rei, he thought and pressed a kiss to his lover`s forehead before resting against him, feeling pleased with how tonight had turned out. They would definitely have to do this some other time, he decided.

Rei opened his eyes slowly, staring into a mop of blue hair. It was tickling the side of his face and he wriggled a little to get out of the firm grip two strong arms had on him.Kai`s hair was a tattered mess after their little session, his sleeping face the most peaceful thing Rei ever had seen in his life before. Kai looked beyong beautiful when he was asleep. A small smile grazed Rei`s lips as he pressed a kiss to his lover`s nose and left the bed, shuddering as he was naked.

Morning had broken outside and Rei could hear the sound of birds chirping happily in the trees nearby. He sighed as he stood by the window, looking at the cold clear autumn morning. Something about a morning as wodnerful as this made him mellow though he could not explain why. Maybe it was because mornings like these made him think of his past relationship with Tala.

After that time back at the hospital when he said his goodbyes he hadn`t seen his beloved redhead again. He didn`t wish to see him. A small part of him longed to go visit but another part held him back, the one that loved Kai instead. He listened to his heart and stayed here by Kai`s side, ignoring his vanishing feelings for Tala. They were fading by every day that passed, though Rei didn`t think they would ever be completely gone from his heart. But as long as he had his loved he could manage, he thought as he cast a stolen glance at the sleeping angel on the bed.

Kai and his mother were all the family he had at the time being, and he loved them both to pieces. Erica still loved to tease them about being together, but to Rei she was a motherly figure he had been missing all his life. She was his mother aswell as Kai`s in one way. Rei smiled sadly and went to the bathroom to get a hot shower to erlaxe his tense mucsles. His thighs were sore even if Kai had been very careful. It had been too long since he slept with anyone, that was all. But it was worth it, actually more than worth it. His mind wandered of to the previous night as he closed the door and stepped into the shower. Hot water splashed against his face and torso, washing away all tension to leave him at peace.

Kai woke up to the sound of the shower. Sitting up he ran a hand through his messy bangs and yawned. He stretched his arms above his head and sighed contently. Until Rei returned he could just relax. Kai wondered what was going through his lover`s mind this morning. Was he alright? Kai certainly hoped he had been careful enough last night and not hurt him. Oh well..He could ask soon enough. The shower stopped and Kai`s breath was caught in his throat as he waited in anitcipation.Not long after Rei exited the bathroom, stopping in his tracks as he noticed the other.

“ Good morning”

“ Mornin`”, Rei mumbled and shook his head a little, his raven strands of hair swaying around him. Kai loved that hair so much, it was so soft and delicate...just like Rei himself.

“ Come here”, Kai said and beckoned for him to come with his hand.

Rei had a towel wrapped around his body, and Kai didn`t know it was whether because he was cold or because he didn`t want Kai to see his scarrs. Kai pulled the neko boy into his arms as he sat down on the bed, taking in the smell of the newly washed hair.

“ You smell good”

“ And you should have a shower too cause you don`t”, Rei said, and Kai caught him smirking. He ruffled his hair and sighed.

“ You`re okay right?”

“ Of course I am ...Don`t worry about me”

“ Can`t help it”

“ I know....”, Rei chuckled.

He tensed up as Kai brushed his fingers over the red marks on his arms, tracing the scarrs. Kai knew he hated his scarrs..why was he doing that?

“ Don`t be ashamed...They are a part of you, a part of who you am and whom I love”.

“ Guess so..But they remind me of him Kai”.

“ I know Rei..I know...But let the past be nothing but the past and concentrate on the future".

Rei leaned into his chest and closed his eyes, feeling more content than he had done in ages.

Waking up beside Kai every morning was something he could certainly get used to, he thought with a soft smile and yawned.
