[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
M.G. Hey! Here's the next chapter. Sorry it took so long! Hope you like it!
Shadow InuGirl: Thanx again for reviewing! I think I might use that idea! I can't think of anything else. Lol
Kai-Dranzer: Thanx for reviewing! You've been reviewing my story since I started, and I really appreciate that! And I have read your story, and I think it's awesome! But I can't review, somethin's screwy with my comp and it won't let me review. Such a shame…And I think Dark Slayers, MIGHT work, but I still have to think, and thanx for voting!
Kai Phoenica: Thanx for the tip. I'll try to fix that later, right now I just want to worry about finishing the story, but I will go back and fix it! I'll keep that in mind if I ever write a prophecy again. I just didn't think that they HAD to rhyme, just most of them…Oh well, and thanx for being nice about it, I really don't like the people who flame and say things so meanly.
Ruler of the Dark: I re-read my chapters and realized you were right. I'll try to keep them more together from now on, but it is one of my first tries, so I expect that I'll make a couple of mistakes. Thanx for reviewing and voting!
Fire spirit of hell: Thanx for reviewing and voting!
(Gives everyone cookies) Thanx everyone! Here are the results from the voting so far, I also have the results from the voting on mediaminer, the other place I posted this, included:
Tala: 6
Johnny: none
I'm thinking of just making this a Bree/Tala story, but I might get some votes for Johnny, so I'll keep the voting going for a little while longer…

Chapter 8: Shock of betrayal and new teammates
In a prison cell somewhere, a purple haired man wearing goggles stared at a TV screen in shock, disbelief, and most strongly, anger. `How could that wench still be alive?! She disappeared ten years ago! I thought she would have been dead by now!' He glared at the screen were they were showing a playback of Bree's match against Kat.
He was glaring at the purple haired girl. He slammed his fist against the wall in anger. `When I get out of here, you are going to die Bree!' He looked up sharply as someone hit the bars to his cell. It was an officer. “Get up! You have a visitor!” He left before another guard returned, Voltaire following.
Boris stood up quickly at the sight of Voltaire. “Sir.” He just stared at him. He turned his attention to the officer who was still standing there. “You may leave now.” He looked frightened under Voltaire's intimidating gaze. “But sir, I'm not allowed to lea-” Voltaire's gaze turned hard. “I said to leave!” He just nodded before quickly running away. Poor guy.
He turned back to Boris. “Boris. It's good to see your still…breathing.” Boris just nodded. “Sir? May I ask why you are here?” He stared at him calmly. “I hear you have a chance for parole coming up, am I right?” Boris nodded. “I may be able to…persuade them to let you go.” Boris looked hopeful. “Really sir? You could do that?” Voltaire glared at him. “Of course I can!”
Boris cowered. “Sorry for doubting you sir.” He just nodded. “I'll be back in two weeks when your parole is taking place.” Boris nodded and watched as Voltaire left. He smirked, mentally chuckling. `This is getting better…'
! With Bree !
“Bree, can you explain what's going on?” Bree turned from Tala's gaze and looked over at her friends, who all looked curious and suspicious at the same time. Well, all of them except her four protector friends. They knew what was going on. She had relayed it to them on the way back to the waiting area.
She sighed and locked eyes with Kat. She just nodded. Bree sighed again before returning her attention to the other teams who were looking even more suspicious if that was possible. “Well you see, to put it bluntly, I'm Bryan's sister. I was friends with the Demolition Boys in the abbey. I had lost my memory of them and just recently remembered.”
Everyone looked at her in shock (Except the D-boys and the four girls). Even Kai had a little bit of shock on his usually emotionless face. Then he seemed to snap back to reality before hardening his mask and glaring at Bree. “You are lying. I was at the abbey with them and I never saw you there.” He sneered at her. Bree looked at him in surprise. He was at the abbey?!
Faith stood up from were she was sitting, glaring fiercely at Kai. Bree was a friend now, and she didn't like ANY of her friends being called liars for ANY reason. “How would you know Kai? She might have been there but left before you got there!” Kai rounded on Faith, glaring back just as fiercely. “You stay out of this! This has nothing to do with you!”
Faith's glare hardened. “Doesn't concern me?! Bree is my friend, and I'll be damned if you dare say anything involving ANY of my friend's is none of my business!” Bree was shocked at Faith's standing up for her. She knew they were friends now, but she hadn't expected her to be so…open about it. The other three girls however just sighed. `Faith's at it again…'
Everyone watched in amusement as Faith and Kai got into a verbal sparing match. Neither was winning. “Guys.” Bree tried to get there attention.
No response.
“Guys.”
No response.
“Guys!”
No response.
“GUYS!!”
No response. Bree sighed in annoyance. She sucked air into her lungs, the Demolition Boys seeing this, and they quickly covered their ears. Everyone else noticed this as well and covered their ears. Everyone except the two fighting.
“GUYS! SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY!!!!” Faith and Kai stopped yelling at each other, wincing, before turning to look at Bree in shock. They didn't know she had it in her. Everyone else lowered their hands from their ears. The Demolition Boys had remembered the time that Bree had gotten mad in the abbey and had yelled. Let's just say they all almost went deaf then. She had a good pair of lungs.
Bree smiled in a fake sweet way towards them. “Thank you. Now, will you guys let me explain now?” They just nodded, still in a state of shock. Bree's smile widened. “Great! As I was saying. I AM Bryan's sister and I WAS at the abbey.” She saw Kai's mouth opening to contradict her but she cut her off. “Kai let me finish. As I was saying, I went to the abbey with Bryan when I was four, so he was five. I stayed there for a year.” Bree shuddered at the memories and Bryan took her hand in a comforting manner.
The other teams were shocked at this. Bree smiled gratefully to her brother. He just nodded before letting go. She turned back to the others. “As I was saying, I was there for about a year, give or take a couple months. Then not to long after my fifth birthday, something happened. I was taken from the abbey and sent…somewhere. I lost my memory in the process, forgetting about my old friends and family. I just started remembering when I was blading Kat.”
Bree looked Kai right in the eyes. “So you see Kai, I WAS at the abbey, but I left about a year or two before you were brought there.” Kai nodded, not apologizing for his mistake, not that Bree expected him to. Everyone else was just letting what Bree told them sink in. Bree turned back to the Demolition Boys. She grinned at them before turning to Ian. “So shorty, still haven't grown any?” He glared at her. “What have I told you about calling me shorty?! I'm just vertically challenged!!”
Bree smirked at him. “Cant you remember what I kept telling you? Saying your vertically challenged is just a nice way of saying your short!” Ian just glared harder. He swung his fist at her, and Bree sidestepped it. “Still slow I see.” Bree smirked at Ian, seeing he was getting more frustrated. He screamed in frustration and started chasing her. “Get back here Ratri!! Wait till I get my hands on you!!” Bree just laughed. “I'd like to see you catch me shorty!!”
The rest of the Demolition Boys just shook their heads at them. Not even ten minutes after she's regained her memory and their back to annoying each other. Bree's friends the Warriors were laughing, except Faith. She just looked amused. The other teams were laughing at them, having finally gotten over their shock. Everyone was laughing except Robert, Kai and Faith.
Bree ran over and hid behind Bryan. Ian stopped in front of him, not daring to go after her if she was behind Bryan, “That's cheating.” Bree just stuck her tongue out at him. Ian grumbled under his breath before walking away. Things are going to start getting interesting with Bree's memories back.
! Back at Tyson's Dojo !
The first part of the tournament was over. In a few weeks they would be heading to the next place were the tournament would be held. It reminded the Bladebreakers of the worlds. Bree was up in her room reading a book. She got thirsty so she decided to go downstairs for a drink. She was quiet and as she was going past the living room she heard the Bladebreakers talking. Curious, she stopped and listened in. What she heard made her gasp.
! With the Bladebreakers !
Ray was pacing and Tyson and Max were sitting on the couch, Kenny in the chair, and Kai was leaning up against the wall in his usual pose. Tyson looked at Ray annoyed. “Will you stop pacing? It's annoying!” Ray looked to him apologetically. “Sorry.” Tyson just waved it off. “I've been thinking.” Ray started. “Now that we know Bree is Bryan's sister, it will be harder to…” Ray looked at Kai before continuing, “…use her.”
They all heard a gasp and they quickly looked in the direction Bree was hiding. She stepped out and looked at them wide eyed. “Y-you guys w-were ju-just going t-to u-use m-me?” Her eyes were filling with tears and they were rolling down her face rapidly. Her words were chocked, like she had a hard time believing what she was saying.
The Bladebreakers all looked at her wide eyed, except for Kai. Ray stepped forward. “No! Bree you see-” But Bree cut him off. “NO! I don't want to hear it!” She turned around and ran up stairs to her room were she slammed the door closed before moving her dresser in front of it.
She could hear their footsteps on the stairs before they were pounding on her door. “Bree! Let us in!!” Bree just ignored them. She looked around the room, seeing anything that might belong to her. Just some clothes. She quickly grabbed a bag before stuffing those few items into it. She knew they would be in her room soon. Even with the dresser. She quickly went to the window and jumped out, landing on the tree branches just outside her window. She quickly climbed down before running across Tyson's front yard and getting to the street. She turned back at the sound of a crash coming from her room and some yelling. She started running down the street. She saw a taxi and signaled it down. As she had been running she had found the card that Kat had given her and had pulled it out.
She looked behind her and saw Ray and Tyson leaning out her window looking at her. Ray leapt out and started climbing down the tree. Bree knew he was neko-jin and knew he would be able to catch her in a matter of seconds because of his speed. She quickly opened the door before jumping in, Ray not even a couple meters away. She slammed the door closed and quickly told the driver were to go.
He sped off just as Ray reached the car. Bree looked back at him through the glass and saw his sad look. Bree just turned back around and looked forward.
! At the Hotel !
Bree got out and told the driver to wait for a minute or two. He nodded and she turned and went into the hotel. She looked at the card, seeing that it also had their room number on it. She went to the elevator and punched in the number for the fourth floor. When she was there, she went down the hallway looking for room 438. She found it quickly and she knocked on the door. It took a minute, but when it opened she was looking at the annoyed face of Tara.
When she saw her however, her facial expression changed. “Bree! What are you doing here?” Bree just smiled weakly at her. “Can I come in?” Tara nodded and moved aside. Bree stepped inside and saw that she was in the living room area. The rest of the group was there. They looked at her surprised. “Bree? What are you doing here?” Bree looked down at her feet. “I'll tell you guys in a minute. But…I sorta came here by cab and I don't have any money.” She bit her lip. “OH! Don't worry; I'll take care of it.” Bree looked gratefully over to Kat.
She just smiled and left. Tara motioned for her to sit down and she did. Tara sat down next to her. They were silent as they waited for Kat to get back. A few minutes later Kat entered the room. She quickly went to the kitchen and got a glass of water and brought it Bree before sitting down in front of her.
Bree accepted the glass gratefully. She didn't ask how Kat knew she wanted a glass of water. She took a sip of the water. Her throat and mouth felt dry, and the water helped. Her friends waited patiently as she…composed herself. She set the glass down and looked at them. “I-I was reading in my room. I got thirsty so I went downstairs for a glass of water. I-I heard them talking. I-I w-was curious; s-so I stopped to l-listen.”
They waited patiently; starting to see were this was going. “I-I heard them t-talking ab-about how th-they were going t-to us-use me!” She started crying. Her so called friends were just using her! Her friends' eyes hardened. How dare someone try to use her?! Kat and Morika held Bree as she cried, trying to calm her. Tara and Faith were glaring at some random object. It was their jobs to protect Bree, and they had the audacity to try to use her!
“Come on Bree. I'll show you to the room you can use. You can wash up there.” Bree nodded and allowed Morika to lead her out of the room. Kat stayed behind and looked to her friends. “What are we going to do?” Kat looked to Tara who looked to Faith who was still glaring. She stayed silent for a minute before speaking. “Were going to kick their ass's that's what. But let's do it in a battle. Were lucky the first tournament weren't elimination matches. We can get back at them in the next tournament.” They nodded.
Just then Morika came back into the room. They looked to her and she just shook her head. They sighed.
! With Bree !
She sighed as she washed her face. She has stopped crying not long after Morika left, but her tears had dried leaving ugly trail marks on her face signaling the path of her tears. Her eyes were red and puffy and she just looked like a mess. She sighed before getting back to work on her face. It took a few minutes, but she was able to get rid of the trail marks. Her eyes also looked better. They were just a little red now.
She walked out of the bathroom and into the room she would be sleeping in. She had gone strait to the bathroom when she had gotten in here, so she was just now getting a good look. The room was of fairly decent size. Against the opposite wall to the bathroom was a four poster bed with black and blood red silk sheets. On one side was a small stand with a lamp and an alarm clock on it, on the other side was a desk made of maple wood.
She looked to her left and saw a walk-in closet. Next to it a dresser also made of maple wood. On her right was the door. The wall across from the closet was a window with black and red curtains. On the floor was a deep red carpet that reminded Bree of freshly spilled blood. Like what she would see in the cells of the abbey. The blood of the innocent children who had all their hopes and dreams, not to mention innocence, stripped away from them mercilessly.
Bree had to hold back the bile rising in her throat. She quickly looked away from the carpet and went over to the window, opening it and breathing in deeply. The cool wind felt good against her suddenly hot skin. She continued to just stand there with her eyes closed. She didn't realize how long she had been there. But she felt as if her spirit had left her body and was wandering through the sky free and happy. She could see the stars and the moon clearly and the sight made her feel lighter.
She was brought back to reality however when she felt her friends behind her. She opened her eyes to discover that it was now night. How long had she been standing there? “A few hours.” Tara answered. Bree looked shocked for a second before remembering her connection to all of her protectors, her friends.
“I think you should probably go either put on something warmer or to take a long hot shower. We don't want you getting sick for the upcoming tournaments. Then you should call your brother. I think their staying in the same hotel as us.” Bree nodded before realizing something and stopping them on their way out.
“Um, guys? Why would I need to be ready for the upcoming tournaments?” Tara looked back at her and smirked, everyone else leaving her to explain while they left to go do something. “You're now on the team. Not to mention the captain. You should hurry up and take that shower and call your brother, you'll have a long day tomorrow.”
Before Bree could pretest about now being the captain Tara left. `Why are they making ME captain? Faith or even Tara would make a better captains then me.'
-Perhaps because you are the chosen one and they protect you, in a way I guess you could say work for you- The deep and mysterious sounding voice of Shadow stated. Bree sighed. `I'm really going to start to hate this chosen one stuff if it's going to keep putting me in position like this.' She could hear Shadow laugh before her presence faded in her mind.
She quickly took a shower and changed into some black shorts and a red tank top before slipping on the black robe left for her. She walked out into the living room were she discovered that there was a fire. “Um, guys? Since when do we have a fire place in the hotel room?” The only one who bothered to look or answer her was Morika. Tara and Kat were reading and Faith was in her room doing who knows what. Morika was watching TV. Morika smirked at her. “We don't.” She didn't elaborate.
Bree nodded. Not pressing the matter, she didn't think she wanted to know. She walked over to the phone before calling the front desk. Here you called people by dialing their room number, but Bree didn't have their room number she called the front desk.
A bored sounding Girl answered. “Hello?”
(Conversation in script; easier)
Bree: Yes, may I please have the room number of Bryan Kuznetsov of the Demolition Boys please?” Bree tried to sound as nice as possible
Girl: Sorry, but I can't tell you that
Bree: Why is that?
Girl: Privacy policy, and the fact that you might be a stalker or fangirl
Bree: -glaring at phone- I'm his sister! Can I please have his room number?
Girl: Yeah right! Look I can't tell you that. Bye
(Out of script mode)
Before Bree could say anything she hung up. Bree started cursing. Morika, Kat and Tara were looking at her amused. “You know, you could just enter the girls mind and find out that way. Or you could send one of your bit-beast's to find out.” Bree looked at Tara shocked. “I can do that?” She nodded and went back to reading her book.
`Aurora?'
-Yes Bree?-
`Could you find out my brothers room number for me?'
-Certainly Bree-
`Thank you'
Bree waited as Aurora found out. When she felt Aurora's presence again she found out her brother was in room 213, two floors below. She thanked Aurora and picked up the phone. She dialed the number and waited as it rung. It rung once, twice, three times. Bree was about to hang up when someone picked up.
“Yea'?” An annoyed voice asked on the other end? “I'm sorry, is this a bad time?” Bree asked. “Bree?” The voice sounded surprised. “Yeah?” she asked. “I didn't know it was you. How did you call me? Where are you?” She laughed. “Calm down Bryan!! I'm in the same hotel. I'm staying with my team.” It felt weird to say that. Guess she'd just have to get used to it.
“Your team? You mean the Bladebreakers? I thought you turned them down?” Bree nodded. “No. My friends. You know the warriors? Their team. I'm the captain now.”
(Script mode; easier)
Bryan: Their team? You're the captain to? -Sounds surprised-
Bree: Yeah
Bryan: Why aren't you with the Bladebreakers?
Bree: ……
Bryan: Bree? What happened? What did they do? If they hurt you I swear-
Bree: Bryan! Don't worry, my friends already said they get back at them
Bryan: Why do they need to get back at them? -Sounds suspicious-
Bree: -Explains-
Bryan: I'll kill em'.
Bree: No!
Bryan: Why not?
Bree: I can take care of myself. I'll get back at them, don't worry.
Bryan: -Smirking- Good
Bree: I got to go. I'll try to see you tomorrow. Bye
Bryan: K, bye.
(Out of script mode)
Bree hung up and turned to see her friends looking at her. “What?” They shook their heads, getting back to what they were doing. “No, it's getting late. You guys go to bed; we'll have a long day tomorrow. Training.” Bree smirked. Tara and Kat did so without a word. Morika however groaned. “Oh no! I have the feeling your going to be just as evil with training as Faith.” She got up and left. Bree trailed after her smirking.
Hey, if she was going to be captain, she might as well do something captain-like. In other words, torture them in training until they can barley move. Oh yes, this would be fun.
! Next Day !
“Bree! Can we stop already?!” Morika was complaining. She had them run laps around the block. Then they were going to train with their blades. Bree had gotten ideas from Kai. Morika was the only one complaining though. “Shut up and just listen! You also agreed to have her as captain so blame yourself for this!” Faith snapped.
Bree sighed. “No guys stop. I think it's about time we go inside and practice with our blades now anyway.” Morika looked like she had been told Christmas had come early. “YES!” Bree laughed and the others sighed. “Go get dressed in something more appropriate and meet me in the lobby in five minutes.” They nodded and quickly went inside to get changed. Bree laughed at Morika, who was first and had left a visible dust trail following her.
! Five Minutes Later !
When everyone met in the lobby they were back into their regular clothes. Where before they were in sweats and tank-tops. “Okay, they have some training rooms here with some dishes and I was able to reserve one side of training room 2, someone else will be in the same room with us, is that okay?” Everyone nodded. “Good, follow me.”
They went down a hall to their right. As they passed doors they all said something different on them. Then they finally reached training room 2. Morika groaned. “Why do they have to place it near the end?” Everyone just ignored her. They opened the door and were met with the sight of four other guys training. Bree gasped and they looked towards them. “You guys are the ones that are going to be training in here with us?!”
