Chapter 1: Getting ready for the reunion

"Tyson!! Get your lazy ass up!!" Hillary yelled at Tyson, who was still bed. Tyson groaned, he didn't like it when Hillary was angry. Because that ment that he probably wouldn't get his morning kiss. He decided that he should get up and see if he might be able to get a morning hug at least. He went into the kitchen where his Hillary was at. He stopped in the doorway to look at her. There she was, pregnant and still beautiful. He loved his wife and loved the child that was growing inside of her. She was about 3 months along, and was starting to show. She turned around and glared at him. "Its about time you got up. Your gonna be late for class." Tyson smiled at his wife, "I was thinking I could skip class today. It'll be my first skip day since is started classes." Hillary looked puzzeled, "Why do you wanna skip class?" Tyson was some what taken back. Didn't she know that she and the baby were his world? Well, then today he would have to refreshen her memory. Tyson just smiled at her and then walked up behind her and hugged her with the love that was in his heart. He was carful not to hurt the baby though. It was then that he thought about Kai. He wondered if Kai had found someone to love and to love him back. Kai deserved someone who could handle him and his love for being in control. He was hoping that Kai would show up at the reunion. They were having a reunion for all of the origanal teams. That included, the White Tigers, the Majestics, the All Stars, the Saint Shields, and the loners like, Zeo, Kane's gang, Dachi, King and Queen, and some of the others. He was hoping that Kai and his team would show up. He wanted to see if Kai was doing alright. Even thought Kai had betrayed them to go to Russia again, Tyson still considered Kai as one of his best friends and was looking out for his former captain's well being. Hillary could tell that something was on Tyson's mind, so she pulled back and looked at him. "Your thinking about Kai again aren't you?" Tyson could only nod. He didn't know how, but she was somehow able to tell when he was thinking of Kai. Maybe it was because he always got real quite and went into deep thought and had some flashbacks on when he was still their captain and how they got him back the first time. Hillary hugged him and went to her cooking. "I hope he will be there at the reunion. There is something I want to tell him." Hillary said. Tyson looked a little confused. Why would she have something to tell him? He thought it was just him and the other guys that had something to tell him. "What do you have to tell him honey?" Tyson asked. Hillary turned around and looked him in the eye. "I want to tell him that he's gonna be the god father of our child." Tyson was kinda taken back. Didn't they agree that Rei and Mariah were goingt to be their child's god parents? "But honey, I thought we agreed that Rei and Mariah were going to be the god parents?" Hillary looked down at the floor for a minute, then she looked up again at Tyson. "Do you consider Kai one of you most closest friends?" "Yeah I do, but what does that have to do with it?" "Even after all the things he's done to the team? Betraying you guys again?" Tyson didn't get where this conversation was going. "Yeah. Hillary please get to the point fast, I'm getting a headach." Hillary nodded. "I love Rei and Mariah and Max and Miriam, but I just feel like Kai could do a better job of protecting our child than they could." Tyson still didn't get it. "What do you mean? How can he protect our child better than Rei or Max?" "Do you know where he is? Does the BBA know where he is?" Tyson shook his head. "No, but that has nothing to do with it." "Yes it does Tyson. If someone killed us and was going after our child, Kai could hide them. Rei and Max are known and the BBA knows where they are all the time. So someone could hack into the BBA's maneframe and get the information they needed and go after them and our child." Tyson finally got what she meant. "So your saying that Kai could make it look like they vanished with out a trace?" Hillary nodded. But then another thought came across Tyson's mind. "But what if he doesn't want to be a god father? Doesn't there need to be a god mother too?" Hillary shook her head. "No, there doesn't need to be a god mother. And I'm hoping that he'll agree to it. But if he doesn't, then we'll ask Rei and Mariah or Max and Miriam." Tyson just decided to agree with her, there was no use getting her all worked up since she was going to get her way anyway. Tyson sat down at the small tabe that sat in their kitchen and started thinking all over again. Then all of a sudden the doorbell rang. Hillary started to go get it, but Tyson was quicker and motioned for her to finish cooking and then sit down. He opened up the door and there stood Max with a huge grin on his face. "What are you up to now Max? Where's Miriam?" Max just smiled and looked toward the inside of the house. Tyson let his blond haired friend in and shut the door. Max started up the small flight of stairs that lead to the hall. Then he made his way for the kitchen. Hillary stood up from her seat on one of the chairs at the table. "What's up Max?" Tyson asked again. Max just couldn't seem to get the huge grin off of his face. "Miriam and me are going to get married!!" Hillary squeeled in delight. "When?" Hillary asked. "In about 2 months." Max answered with joy in his eyes. Hillary hugged Max as much as she could without hurting the baby. Max hugged her back, being cautious about the baby also. "Where's Miriam?" Tyson asked agian. "She's over telling Rei and Mariah. We're gonna have a dinner party the night after the runion." Max told them. "To see if Kai will be here?" Tyson asked. Max nodded. "Aren't you going to class Tyson?" Max asked. "Nope, I'm gonna hang out with my beautiful wife and child." Max laughed. "Man, I just hope your not grouchy when her mood swings start to really kick in." Hillary laughed. Tyson frowned at his friend. "That's not funny. Let's see you try and keep your cool when Miriam gets pregnant and starts having her mood swings." Max laughed and slapped Tyson on the shoulder. "Its alright man. We won't give you a very had time." Tyson glared at him. "But your still gonna give me a hard time aren't you?" Max laughed. "Hell ya!!" Tyson just glared at him. Max gave pitty on his friend and decided to change the subject. "Have you guys found out what it is yet?" Hillary shook her head. "All we know is that its pretty big. Their probably gonna eat alot too. Just like their father." Max couldn't resist. He had to see their reaction on his next comment. "Maybe you'll have twins!" Hillary and Tyson stopped dead in their tracks and looked at him with wide eyes. "Don't you ever joke like that!!" Hillary and Tyson said in unison. Max couldn't hide it any longer. He bursted out laughing. Tyson glared at Max. "You should have seen the look on your guys faces!! It was just hillarious!!!" Max litrally fell to the floor laughing. Hillary rolled her eyes and Tyson glared down at his friend. Max finally calmed down and stood up. "Well, I should be going. Miriam's probably gonna be at the house already and she wants to invite my mom and dad to the reunion and tell them the good news." Tyson nodded and followed Max to the door. As he started to shut the door he yelled, "Say hi to the twins for me!!" And then shut the door so that Tyson couldn't go after him. Tyson just locked the door and went into the living room. In on the couch sat Hillary, looking through a photo album. Tyson went over and sat next to her. He looked over her shoulder and saw that she was looking at pictures from their wedding day. "Look how young we looked. And its only been about 2 and half years since that day." Tyson agreed. "Yeah, it doesn't seem that far away and yet it does. Its strange." Hillary nodded her head and turned the page. They were pictures of when the BladeBrakers were still a team and together. It was their last tournament together before Kai went to the Demolition Boys again. Tyson smiled, there was some pictures that showed them trying to drag Kai over to the camera. Tyson and Hillary thought back onto that day.
****FlashBack********************************************************* "Come on Kai. One picture won't kill you." Tyson told his cold captian. Kai just turned around so his back was turned to them. Tyson came over and hung an arm around his captian's shoulders. "Come on Mr. Sourpuss. The magazines already have pictures of you plastered all over their front pages. We just want some to put in an album. Its not like we're asking you to let us take a picture of you in just your boxers." Kai inwardly blushed. He finally gave up. He sighed and walked over to the rest of the team. Max cheered and went to glomp Kai. Kai had to use most of his strength to get the hyper blond off of him. Hillary smiled and then clicked the camera. After about 15 minutes they were done with pictures.

"Man, that day doesn't seem very far away does it?" Tyson asked. Hillary shook her head in agreement. "I remember that day very well. You managed to convince Kai to come over and let us take some pictures of the team with him acutally in it." Tyson laughed. "Yeah. But it wasn't like we were really going to take pictures of him in his boxers." Hillary was quiet. Tyson looked at Hillary wondering why she was suddenly so quiet. "What?" Tyson asked. "I was just thinking on how I would have actually like some pictures of him in just his boxers." Tyson couldn't stop his jaw from hitting the floor. "What?!?" Hillary smiled at him. "That was before we were even going out. I thought he was pretty hot lookin'" "Do you still think he's hot?" Hillary tried to hide her blush. "I love you, but yes. I do think he's hot. It just make you wonder how someone could look like that." Hillary answered. "Through hard trainning and tourcher." Tyson answered. "What?" Tyson looked at his wife. "When Kai was in Russia, he lived with his grandfather. His grandfather was a bit crazy and so was his righthand man. They wanted to dominate the world. So they would take boys, and sometimes girls I'm betting, and train them. If they didn't do what they were ordered to, they would be beat, whipped, and probably raped too. And sometimes, even if they did do what they were ordered to do, they would be beaten and whipped. Kai was one of those boys. For the longest time, after his parents died, Kai tried to resist the evil that held his grandfather's heart. But even the most purest hearts are corrupted by too much evil. They would beat and whip him every day. Until one day, he finally cracked. He couldn't take it anymore. He finally agreed to do what ever they wanted him to do. There was someone in the abbey that tried to protect Kai from breaking. Because that boy had been broken for years and knew what they wanted him to do. And even though they beat and whipped that boy almost everyday, he never quite trying to protect Kai. I don't know what happened to him. Kai, in order to keep his grandfather happy, had to sometimes kill people that got in the way of BioVolt's plannes to dominate the world. Kai feels that no one will ever love him, because of what he was forced to do by BioVolt." Hillary looked appauld. "How old was Kai when his parents died?" "Around 3 or 5." Hillary really looked as if she wanted to cry. "The poor thing." Tyson nodded his head in agreement. "But that aint the worst of it. Apparently, Kai's dad had always wanted a son. But after he looked at Kai after he was born and in the nursery, he thought that Kai was a demon." "Why would anyone think that their own child was a demon?" "Because of his eyes. His eyes are that dark blood red. Even though Kai's mother had those exact same eyes. Then he heard Voltair and Boris talking. They were talking on how they could use Kai to kill people. So, Kai's dad full believed that Kai was a demon and went home drunk. When he got home, he went looking for his gun and went to go find Kai. Well, Kai's mother wasn't stupid, she knew what he was going to do. So she told Kai to hide, since he had been playing in on the living room floor with his toys. He wanted to show his daddy that he could make a totally stable tower out to blocks. And so he did go hide. Although Kai's mom meant to go hide in his bedroom, he hide behind the couch, thinking it was some kind of game they were playing. Kai's dad comes in then, he yells at his mom to tell him where Kai is. Well, she won't tell him. He slaps her and then notices Kai's bloody red eyes behind the couch. He heads for the couch and aims his gun. But when he shoots, it aint Kai he shot, it's his mother. His mom threw herself infront of him, to protect him from the bullet. When his dad relizes who he shot, he is over stricken with grief. So he turns the gun on himself and fires. Leaving Kai to witness the whole thing. Well, after the funerals, Voltair comes and takes Kai away." Hillary was now crying. "Who would do something like that to their own child? Who is that sick?" Tyson put his arms around her holding her tightly. "I'm not going to be like that. I love both of you with all of my heart." Hillary put her head in his chest and tried to calm down. She knew that this wasn't good for the baby, but just thinking about Kai getting beaten when he was only about 3 years old. It made her want to get down and cry her heart out. She finally calmed down and pulled back and kissed Tyson on the cheek. He was going to be a good father. She stood up and walked to the kitchen. "I better start thinking what I want to take to the reunion." Tyson followed her and sat down at the table. Only 5 more days until the reunion. Only 5 more days until they saw if Kai would be brave enough to show up. This was going to be a long week.
