Chapter 5: Michael and Lee

Michael stood alone in the stadium. It was almost a ritual for him to come and imagine the match before it happened. Though

this time he wasn't so sure about the outcome. Usually he was confident he would win but this time feelings were clouding his

judgment.

"What should I do..." He questioned quietly.

"Do about what?" A voice behind him asked.

Michael whipped around to meet the gaze of the opponent what was giving him so many problems, Lee.

"Lee..." Michael started.

"So I guess I'm not the only one who goes to the stadium before the match." Lee commented.

"Yeah, just trying to get a feel for the upcoming match." Michael mumbled.

Michael looked away, he tried to make it look like his gaze was distracted to something.

"Michael, why won't you look at me? Is there something wrong?" Lee asked, a small grin came across his face.

Michael sighed, 'Something like that...' He thought.

None the less he turned back toward Lee. A blush was making it's way across his face.

Lee's grin grew. His small fangs made their appearance. A thought struck him. Oh the fun he was about to have.

"Michael, are you afraid this will effect our friendship?" Lee questioned quietly, in sort of a mocking tone.

"I just don't wanna destroy a friendship before it starts." Michael replied quietly, in a sad tone, looking toward the ground.

"Mic, it's a game. Don't worry about it. Are you ever afraid of something like this when you play baseball?" A devious grin was

obvious across the black lion's face.

"Well, most teams are never friends to start with..." Michael slowly commented.

"So it never bugged you before. Don't let it start now." He took a step closer. "Besides, a couple of losses won't scare me

away from you. Just so long as I get the win in the long run."

Michael looked up at the approaching lion. He wasn't sure he liked the grin on Lee's face. It wasn't like any he had ever seen.

Lee took the opportunity the confusion caused and backed the eagle to a wall. Michael, realizing he had been cornered looked

desperately for an escape.

"Don't get your feathers in a ruffle, Mic. I noticed your not quite the ALL Star you claim to be." Lee replied in a soft voice.

Michael froze. "What... what do you mean?" He questioned hesitantly.

"Your more of a FALLING Star. You can't hide it from me. But, what surprises me most is WHO you FELL for." Lee said,

closing any distance between them.

Lee reached out and pinned Michael's arms to the wall. Lee was a bit stronger then him and easily, and tightly, held him still.

"Lee... please, let me go. It hurts." Michael pleaded.

Lee, oblivious to the cried, leaned up, eyes closed, and pressed his lips to the other boy's. Michael stared on in shock at the

actions of the other boy. Lee ran his tongue across the other boys lips and, still in shock, Michael opened his mouth in

compliance to the others wants.

As Lee's tongue entered his mouth Michael's daze was broken. He fully realized what was going on. His tongue began to battle

it's way to Lee's mouth. He entered it and he ran it everywhere. He found it most enjoyable to run his tongue across Lee's

fangs. The new sensation gave him a warm feeling.

Lee eventually called the battle as his tongue returned to his mouth. Michael followed his lead and the two broke the kiss and

took in a deep breath.

"It's all about winning the OVERALL battle, Star." Lee said, finally releasing Michael's arms. "Try to remember that. Good

Luck this afternoon."

Lee took a step back and winked, then started his leave of the stadium.

"Lee! Wait! What..." Michael started, his daze returning to him.

"We can discuss it after the battle, Star. You just try to focus on the upcoming battle. Later."

With that Lee finished his exit and Michael tried to make sense of the events that just took place.
