Ok, this one turned into a SONGfic... I don't own any rights to this song and I only recently heard it and thought it made for a good story.

Chapter 4: Rei and Bryan
"I'm tired of being what you want me to be
Feeling so faithless, lost under the surface
I don't know what you're expecting of me
Put under the pressure, of walking in your shoes
Every step that I take is another mistake to you"

"Jeez Rei!" Bryan shouted as he cracked him across the face. "That was the worst launch yet!"
Rei just stared at Bryan with cold eyes. Bryan felt a warm satisfaction. He had made his Rei like him. Cold.
Bryan walked behind Rei, his hand brushed around Rei's waist and he pulled him into his arms.
Inside Rei beamed. He longed for Bryan's warm touch.

"I've become so numb
I can't feel you there
Become so tired, so much more aware
I'm becoming this, all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you"

But with each passing day he didn't want to show it.
Bryan turned Rei's head and placed a rough kiss on his lips. As much as Rei enjoyed it, it almost didn't feel.
'I'm not really me anymore, am I?' He thought to himself.
He was slipping. Driger didn't respond as much anymore, He didn't see Max, Takao, or Kai anymore. He rarely saw anyone
but Bryan. And somehow he was ok with it...

"Can't you see that you're smothering me?
Holding too tightly, afraid to lose control
'Cause everything that you thought I would be
Has fallen apart, right in front of you"

Bryan pulled him in closer.
"Rei, you will become better." His arms tightened around Rei's waist. "For me, if nothing else."
He nibbled down Rei's neck, making Rei feel better, but like always bit into Rei's shoulder.
He pushed Rei away, "Now, lets try this again. And get it right!" He said loudly.
Rei stumbled forward and almost fell. Not that Bryan would care...

"Every step that I take is another mistake to you
An' every second I waste is more than I can take"

Bryan backhanded Rei, this time Rei fell to the ground. Bryan knelt down and pinned Rei to the ground. His face inches from
Rei's.
"I said, 'Do it RIGHT this time' didn't I?" Bryan asked.

"I've become so numb
I can't feel you there
Become so tired, so much more aware
I'm becoming this, all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you"

Rei stared at him.
"I did it right." He replied coldly.

I may end up failing too

You were just like me
With someone disappointed in you"

'No! I've gotta be nice! Show him you can get -better- results with kindness.' Rei's mind screamed.
Bryan scoffed. "Pathetic! If that's right then you'll never make it in this world."
'Poor Bryan. It's not his fault!' Rei's mind raced.
Without thinking he embraced Bryan, pinning Bryan's arms to his side to keep him from pushing away.
"Bryan, forgive me. I forgive you." Rei said.
"I don't need forgiveness." Bryan coldly replied, but his voice cracked at the end.
Rei closed his eyes and joined their lips. Bryan stared wide eyed.
What had got into Rei? And why was it rubbing off on him?
Bryan wrapped his arms around Rei's waist. It was nice to feel his warmth. Bryan's eyes slowly closed and his hands began to wonder under Rei's shirt....
