THE BATTLE OF TRUTH
(The next day)
Everyone was feeling much better the next day. They all decided to go out for breakfast. Besides Kenny's mom couldn't see them today so they were going to see her tomorrow. After breakfast the group left for a park so that they could talk about all sorts of stuff, after all it was a beautiful day.
"Hey guys can I ask you something?" Erika asked as the walked near a pound.
"Sure what's up?" asked Tyson.
"I want to join the Blade Breakers," Erika blurted out.
"What?" asked Max in surprise.
"Look I'm really good. I never lost a match, and I bet I could beat the strongest blader on your team," Erika yelled.
"Then that would mean that you would be facing me, Erika," said Kai with a smile.
Kenny was a bit worried, he wasn't sure if Kai could handle it.
"Then let's battle Kai," Erika took out her blade as well as Kai.
The walked over to a near by park arena.
"This will be a best 2 out of 3 match the first to have his or her blade out of the arena twice loses," said Tyson.
"If Erika loses she will not be a part of the team but if she wins then she is our new teammate," announced Kenny.
"LET IT RIP!" yelled Kai and Erika at the same time.
It was a fierce battle. Neither Erika or Kai used their bit beasts. Well not that it mattered, in less than 5 minutes, Kai's blade was knocked out of the arena.
"Nice job Erika, but let's see how you handle Dranzer! Let It Rip!" yelled Kai.
"Dizzy, does Erika really have a chance at beating Kai?" Ray asked as Droner came out.
"Yes she does. She too has a bit beast and it may even equal to Dranzer," said Dizzy.
"But that's impossible. No one can beat Dranzer," said Tyson.
"Well if Erika has the guts to use her bit Beast we will find out," said Hilary.
"DRANZER ATTACK!" hollered Kai.
"Jevona hurry and counter attack!" Erika yelled.
But it was too late. Dranzer knock Erika's blade out.
"This will be the final round. If there is a tie then the battle will go to Erika," yelled Ray.
"Kai you asked for my full power when you knocked Jevona out of the arena, so now you are gonna get it. LET IT RiP! ATTACK Jevona!" Erika yelled.
Now the battle was fiercer than ever. However, one thing stop both Erika and Kai from their full strength.
"Kenny may I ask what's going on?" asked Hilary. She and the rest of the gang knew that Erika and Kai weren't up to full strength. They knew Kai was stronger than this and they felt Erika was just as strong as Kai.
"Well my only guess would be that the only reason Kai isn't up to full strength is because he feels as though he met Erika before and the only reason Erika isn't at full strength is because she's in love with Kai," said Kenny. He then but his hands over his mouth.
"Now look what you did. We promised Erika that we wouldn't tell anyone that she liked Kai," yelled Dizzy.
It didn't matter though, the match was a tie and no one cared. When Erika and Kai heard their names they froze and their blades were sent out of the arena. It was then Erika knew what she had to do. She picked up her blade and ran.
"Erika Wait!" shouted Kai. He picked up his blade and ran after her.
"Should we go after them?" asked Tyson.
"No. Kai needs to do this on his own. And my sister doesn't need us yet, only him," said Ray.
"YOUR SISTER?!" yelled Tyson, Hilary, Max, Kenny, and Dizzy together.
