Beyblade Fan Fiction ❯ Kai's in Love ❯ Another Strange Dream ( Chapter 6 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
(A/N) Okay let me clear a few things up with the reviews that I have been getting. The only reason Ray didn't recognize his own sister was because he didn't know where had seen Erika before. That will be explained in this chapter. And the reason that Kai ran after Erika was because he felt that it was his duty to protect her, which will also be explained in this chapter. So just read it.

ANOTHER STRANGE DREAM.
"Ray why didn't you ever tell us that you sister?" asked Hilary.
"I didn't realize it until just now. The reason is that I felt as though I knew Erika but I didn't know where, but when I saw her battle techniques I knew that she was my sister," explained Ray.
"Then why don't you go after her like Kai did?" asked Tyson.
"That's simple, you guys remember how Kai was on the plane and how he was when he met Erika. He was in some sort of state of depression and right now Erika was the one that made him feel better. Besides I'm not sure if Erika knows that I'm her brother and if she doesn't than I don't want to drop it on her right now," said Ray.
"But Ray how can you be so sure that you can trust Kai?" asked Max.
"It's just a feeling, like when you know that you're going to win a battle," Ray looked away from the group.
They others looked at Ray's back. It was as though they knew what Ray was saying but didn't. How could Erika be Ray's sister?
"Erika wait!" yelled Kai.
"Kai? Why did you follow me?" asked Erika in an annoyed voice.
"Because.because." Kai looked away from Erika.
"I'm waiting," Erika tapping her foot with her arms crossed.
"Because you shouldn't be out here alone. It's not safe," yelled Kai.
"Whatever."
Erika and Kai began to walk side by side. Soon, after walking a few blocks, Erika stopped. So did Kai.
"What's wrong? Why did you sop walking?" he asked.
"I have something to tell you," she whispered.
"What's that?"
"Kai, Ray's my twin brother. We were separated at birth because our parents didn't want 2 children," Erika began to cry.
"Why didn't you tell me that in the room?"
"I guess I was afraid of Ray at first because I never thought that I would ever see my brother in person," Erika explained.
"Does he know?"
"I'm not sure."
It was an awkward silence. Kai and Erika just stood on the side walk looking at each other.
"Look its getting dark. I know a little place that we can stay at until morning," Kai finally said.
So Erika and Kai walked in silence down the streets of America. Soon they came up to a big building.
"Where are we?" asked Erika.
"I told you a little place that I know," answered Kai.
(Inside the Hotel)
"I'm sorry Mr. Hiwatari, but we are booked," said the clerk at the front desk.
"Then give me a couple of blankets and we'll sleep on the couches," yelled Kai.
"Well if you don't mind then okay, Mr. Hiwatari you can sleep down here on the couches.
"Sorry Erika, but we have to sleep on the couches down here," said Kai as he came back with a few blankets.
"Kai its okay," said Erika.
Kai then sat down on one of the couches and put a blanket around him. Erika silently walks over to where Kai was sitting. She took of her shoes and put her legs up on the couch. She then took a blanket and put it around her.
A few hours of silence went past. And soon Erika became very sleepy. Without even paying attention to what she was doing she laid her head against Kai Hiwatari's shoulder. Kai looked at her in surprise. H just guessed that it was because she tired.
Kai too was getting sleepy. He put his arm around Erika, so that it wouldn't fall asleep. He didn't feel like leaning on the back of the couch so Kai put his head on Erika's and began to sleep
~*~*~*~*DREAM*~*~*~*~
"Come here my dear boy," came the voice of Kai's grandfather. "I want to show you the girl I would hope you will marry."
"Who is she Grandfather?" asked a 13 year old Kai.
"Her name is Erika. She lives in America. Hopefully you will meet her and marry her," said the grandfather as he pulled out a picture of a 12 year old girl, her hair in a bun with curls, in a fancy dress. "She lives with a few of my good friends, of course we aren't sure what happened to her parents yet.
"Grandfather, aren't I bit young to be having a future wife?" Kai asked.
"Of course not. Why I had a girl I wanted to marry since I was three," boasted Grandfather.
Kai just stood there holding the picture of the girl his grandfather wanted him to marry. This was crazy to Kai.
~*~*~*~*DREAM*~*~*~*~
Kai woke with a sudden start. That dream he had was real. His Grandfather wanted him to marry a girl named Erika.
"That's were I saw Erika before," Kai muttered. He looked back down at Erika. Very slowly, he lightly kissed her head. Erika must have felt it because she started snuggling up to get closer to Kai. He then laid his head back down on Erika's head and was happier than he had been in a long time.
Sure Tyson had Hilary. Max had Amy. Ray had Serna. And Kenny ha Samantha, but Kai had something more. He had the perfect girl for him. Kai had Erika.

(A/N) I know this doesn't make sense yet but it will in later chapter. Promise. Read and review.
