SHE'S GONE
Kai soon broke away from the kiss that HE gave Erika.
"Erika, I'm sorry. I have to tell you the truth. The only reason that I kissed you was to see if my feelings for you were real. And they are," Kai finally confessed the truth. But he didn't say those three fateful words.
"Kai, there is no need for you to apologize. Truth be told I had to see if my feelings for you were real. And they are," Erika said. She then went up to Kai and whispered something into his ear.
Kai turned as red as a strawberry. "Uh, guys could you leave, I need to talk to Erika, alone for a minute."
"Yeah sure," said Max leaving the room with Kenny.
"Have fun you two," teased Tyson with a wink to Kai.
"It's not what your thinking," Kai blushed again.
"How do you know what I'm thinking?" Tyson teased again.
"Because you sick pig. Kai isn't that stupid. Unlike someone I know," Hilary grabbed Tyson's ear and pulled him out of the room.
"If you try anything on her, I'll kill you, got it Kai?" warned Ray.
"Don't worry brother, I won't let anything happen," Erika pushed Ray out of the room and looked at Kai.
(In Ray's room)
Ray was now passing back and forth. He couldn't help but be worried, it was a brother thing.
"Ray relax. You can trust Kai. I mean he is like one of your best friends," Hilary was annoyed with the passing and had to stop Ray.
"You're right. It's just that, I've-"
"Never been a brother before and you fell as though you have to protect her, right?" Max finished.
Ray stopped passing and looked at Max. "Yeah how did you know?" he asked.
"It's only a little common sense really," smiled Max.
"Yeah, your right," Ray was beginning to feel a bit better.
The gang then began talking about their last match against the Demolition Boys. They didn't even notice that someone else had entered the room. Whoever he was he was tiptoeing up to Ray. He stayed in the shadows. Little by little he made his was to Ray.
"GOTCHA!" yelled Kai.
Ray must have jumped a foot in the air. Kai and the rest of the Blade Breakers began laughing.
"He what was that for?" asked Ray when he calmed down a bit.
"I'm sorry, it's just that you are so easy to scare that I couldn't help it," Kai said in between his laughing fits.
The laughing went on and on, until finally everyone was able to calm down and relax.
"So Kai, how come you aren't with Erika anymore?" asked Kenny.
"Oh she wanted to take a shower so I left and came here," Kai answered.
"And what an entrance you made. You are now my new hero," Tyson was still laughing.
"Very funny Tyson," sneered Ray.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" came a scream.
Tyson stopped laughing. Something was wrong and the scream came from Kai's room.
"ERIKA!" shouted Kai and Ray running down the hallway.
The two boys ran as fast as they could, but it wasn't fast enough. They made it to Kai's room, but Erika was gone. All that was left was Kai's scarf and a note.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" yelled Kai as he dropped onto all fours. It was like he lost his world and could never get it back.
At least Kai was in a better state than Ray. Ray just stood there. His face was as white as snow and he was at stiff as a wall. Heck even his black hair was lighter than usual.
Soon Max, Hilary, Tyson, and Kenny came in.
"Kai, Ray, what happened? Where's Erika?" asked Max. Ray didn't answer. Nor did Kai. This was worse than the whole Whyit situation.
"Look at this," said Kenny picking up the note.
"What is it chief?" asked Tyson.
"It's a note. It says
'Dear Blade Breakers,
We have taken something, or should we say someone who is very important to you. If you did not know she is part of a plan that our boss's good friend came up. Do you know who it is? It's Mr. Hiwatari. Yes Kai's grandfather. You'll see what his plan is. And if you're not afraid to find out what it is than come to Rollin Hill Road tomorrow at noon. There we will fight for Erika.
The Demolition Boys'" read Kenny.
"Wow! Who would figure that the Demolition Boys were that clever," said Tyson.
"They aren't. And you are to stay out of this. This battle is personal. My grandfather wants me to give up blading and take over his company. I have to do this alone," explained Kai.
"NO WAY! THIS IS MY SISTER AND NOBODY GOES TO SAVE HER WITH OUT ME! GOT IT!" hollered Ray.
Everyone nodded. They knew what they had to do tomorrow. Go down Rollin Hill Road for the battle of the century.
(the only building on Rollin Hill Road)
Erika was beginning to gain consciousness. She opened her eyes and looked around. Everything was dark except for a single light that was shining on her.
"W-where am I?" she said aloud.
"Oh good you're awake. We were afraid that you were going to miss tomorrow's events," came a voice from the shadows.
"Tomorrow's events?" Erika muttered. "Who are you?"
"I am not important at the moment the good think is that you are awake. I'll be seeing you later my dear," and with that the man left.
"Wait. Get back here," Erika was about to go after the man. But soon she realized that her feet weren't touching the ground. In fact Erika could barely move. Her legs were chained together on the wall and her arms were above her head, chained against the wall. Erika just bowed her head in defeat. " Kai, Ray save me." Was all she could muster.
