Hey guys, thanx for reviewing so far. Now just the normal stuff and onto the fic!
Ok this is my friends' fic but she doesn't have the internet so she asked me to edit it and put it up for her. This is her first fic and she doesn't know a lot about beyblade so sorry if the characters aren't exactly perfect. Read and review please. Flames are welcome. This is a KaixOc fic. It did used to be ReixOc aswell. But we changed that.
Disclaimer: I do not own beyblade or any of its characters; I do own Lexi and Mina.

It was 11am the next day and Mina was already exhausted. Why can't Aunt Sophie look after her own fucking shop? She thought angrily. The bell above the door rang again, signaling the arrival of yet ANOTHER customer. Mina sighed and turned to face them, plastering a cheerful smile on her face which immediately turned into shock.
“Kai! Hi um…what are you doing here?” Mina asked, glancing around the shop nervously.
“I was just walking around to get away from Tyson. Then I remembered I was wanting to talk to you anyway.”
“What about?” Mina asked as the last customer, besides Kai, left the building. She immediately walked over to the door and locked it, flipping the sign that said `lunch break'. “Thank God!” Kai raised his eyebrow.
“Lunch break? It's only 11.” Mina nodded.
“I know, I've only been working for two hours, but every minute feels like an eternity! I had like, no sleep last night! It's not even my shop!” Mina sighed. “Come on, let's go out the back to talk.” Kai nodded and followed Mina out the back, waiting until she had grabbed a yogurt out of the small fridge before speaking.
“Jo's a witch?” Mina started and looked at him. She swallowed her yogurt.
“Um…yes? Why?”
“She just seems different. You're different from Hilary, but she seems…darker then you.” Mina shrugged.
“Everyone's different. That's not all is it?” Kai shook his head.
“Tyson, he was acting extremely weird when she showed up. He also claims he doesn't trust her and to stay away. He's never said that about ANYONE. Why is Jo different?” Mina bowed her head.
“I can't say. I'm still trying to figure her out properly. Sorry Kai.” Kai shook his head.
“Don't worry about it. What are you doing tonight?” Mina shrugged again.
“Nothing, why?”
“Want to go to dinner?” Kai faced away from her. Mina blinked. That was unexpected.
“Sure, when and where?”
“I was thinking seven o'clock at the Italian restaurant two blocks from here.” Mina nodded.
“Sounds good.” Kai smirked and left the room. Calling out a goodbye over his shoulder. Mina finished her yogurt and dropped the empty tub into the bin. “Now…was that a date or dinner with the whole team? Ah, back to work.” Mina unlocked the door and flipped the sign back. It was another hour before anything interesting happened. Mina was helping a customer choose a color for the table cloth she wanted to make when Rei walked through the door. He caught Mina's eye and grinned before take a seat on the floor next to the counter. Mina sighed and listened to the women gab on for another five minutes about whether a cream table cloth would take the color away from the wallpaper. Mina sighed in frustration.
“Look lady!” She growled losing her temper. “It's a fucking table cloth! If the color doesn't suit it, then just get a different fucking cloth! Here, you can take this,” She grabbed a sewing kit and a bouquet of daisies and handed them to her. “You can have these for free if you leave now and chose a color at YOUR HOUSE!” Mina gave her no chance to answer before she shoved her out the door and locked it. Sighing she walked into the backroom, Rei following close behind her.
“Oh yeah, that'll be GREAT for your business.” Rei teased. Mina growled.
“My head is killing me! Do you know she was talking about her fucking wallpaper for twenty minutes?! It's fucking paper! Paint over it! Argh!” There was a `thump' as Mina's forehead connected with the desk she was sitting at.
“Anything you want me to get?”
“Aspirin's in the second drawer.” Mina answered immediately. “And a glass of water please. Rei grabbed the aspirin and filled a glass, handing them to her and sitting on the edge of the desk. “Thank you!” Mina swallowed them and didn't move for a few minutes before talking to Rei. “You are here.” Rei nodded.
“I am.”
“Why are you here?”
“I was wondering if you'd seen Kai. He disappeared a few hours ago after Tyson pissed him off.” Mina nodded.
“He was here around an hour ago. What did Tyson do?” Rei shook his head.
“Dunno, didn't ask. Anyway, I was thinking of doing something for Kenny's birthday. Wanna help?”
“Doing what?”
“I haven't figured that out yet. Anyway, so what did Kai want?” Mina shrugged.
“Refuge? I have a brainstorm! Do you guys wanna come over my house for dinner on Sunday?” Rei thought.
“Okay, as long as you and Kai aren't drinking when you go out…bye Mina!” Rei added quickly leaving the shop. Mina's mouth hung open in shock.
“I don't even want to know HOW he knew about that…”
“MINA?” A sophisticated voice called from the front of the shop. Mina sighed.
“I'm in the backroom Aunt Sophie!” Her aunt walked into the room.
“Mina child. What are you doing back here?”
“I have a headache Aunt Sophie…could you please take over the store and I'll do the shopping?” He aunt considered this for a moment before nodding.
“Okay, here's the list.” She handed Mina the paper and shooed her out of the shop. Mina sighed and headed towards the shops.
ONE HOUR LATER
“Okay…hoe can two people eat so much?” Mina asked herself as she cast a look around the streets and muttered a quick spell to make the bags she held lighter. She sighed and picked them up.
“HI!!!!!” A voice screamed in her ear. Mina cringed and almost dropped the eggs. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” The voice continued to scream Mina growled and turned to face Tyson.
“Piss off Tyson! I have a headache and I am going home!” Tyson's cheerful grin disappeared and he frowned.
“Too bad.” He grabbed Mina's arm tightly and pushed her backwards through scrub until they were hidden form the rest of the world.
“What the fuck is your problem?!” Mina asked, wincing at the scratches that covered her arms.
“Stay away. Either stay away from `Jo' or stay away from us. But stay the fuck away.”
“What are you on about?” Tyson grabbed her top.
“You're a fucking witch. You're more in tune with auras. I sensed her so I know that you did too. I don't know what the fuck you're planning, but keep us out of it. Understand?” Mina remained silent. “I don't care if you don't answer me. But keep the fuck away from us or you will meet the same fate as your friend will.”
“Is that a threat?” Mina asked boldly. Tyson glared at her through cold eyes.
“No fucking shit Sherlock. Yes it's a fucking threat; you had better pay attention to it.” Tyson growled before turning and leaving the bushes. As soon as she was on her own, Mina let out a huge shaky breath.
“Shit…what did I get myself into?”
