[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Hey guys, thanx for reviewing so far. Now just the normal stuff and onto the fic!
Ok this is my friends' fic but she doesn't have the internet so she asked me to edit it and put it up for her. This is her first fic and she doesn't know a lot about beyblade so sorry if the characters aren't exactly perfect. Read and review please. Flames are welcome. This is a KaixOc fic. It did used to be ReixOc aswell. But we changed that.
Disclaimer: I do not own beyblade or any of its characters; I do own Lexi and Mina.

NORMAL POV
MINA & JO
“Mina!”
“What? What did I do?” Mina asked as she selected some soft drinks.
“Why didn't you tell me the Demolition Boys were with them!? And why did you tell Tyson I was a vegetarian?!!” Mina said nothing until they had paid for the drinks and were outside the shop.
“What else was I supposed to tell them?!” Mina asked, waving her hands around.
“I dunno…and did I HAVE to be called Jo?!” Mina rolled her eyes and said nothing. They soon arrived back at the pizza shop. The others were all sitting outside and talking.
“Hey guys, great idea!” Mina cried. “Two people can stay back to get the pizza while the others go back to the park. No point in us all being bored!”
“I'll stay.” Kai said, glancing at Tyson and wincing at the volume he was speaking to Max at.
“So will I.” Jo added nearly immediately. “Anything to keep me away from Lard Boy.” Tyson seemed not to have heard her and continued to talk to Max.
“Okay, see you guys back at the park.” Kai and Jo both nodded and walked back inside the small shop. The others started off to the park.
“So Mina. How did you meet them?” Tala asked, indicating to Tyson and Max who had run ahead.
“Tyson crashed into me and pissed me off.” Mina replied. “Just this afternoon actually.”
“And in…” Rei looked at his watch. “In two hours you have threatened two of us with a knife, tried to kill one of us in a rampage, locked all of us in a sound proof room, set one of us on fire and gotten us attacked by six people with swords.”
“Who I then took to a mental hospital and got Tyson to pay for pizzas.” Mina concluded. Bryan looked amused.
“Who did you set on fire?” Mina smirked.
“Max. He deserved it.”
“He was sleeping.” Rei countered.
“He drooled! It's disgusting! I think there's still a puddle of it the size of Kansas in the living room!”
“So who did you threaten?”
“Kai and Kenny. They deserved it!”
“How?”
“Kai spoke out of turn and Kenny gave me a massive headache. And before you ask! I tried to kill Tyson and he deserved it! Stupid baka.” Ian turned to Rei.
“Are you the only one she hasn't attempted to kill?” Rei looked back at Ian.
“Yeah, I'm trying to stay on her good side.”
“What sides that? I don't recall having a good side!” Mina said thoughtfully.
“Mina, the only way to stay on your good side is to stay far, far away and pray.” Mina considered this for a few seconds before nodding her agreement.
PIZZA SHOP
JO'S POV
Okay, so I'm alone with Kai. I can talk to him without Tyson glaring at me. But how in the seven hells do you talk to a rock?
“Okay, I don't agree with Tyson giving you the third degree.” Kai's voice brought me out of my thoughts. “But I have a few questions.”
“Shoot, but I may not answer them.” Kai just nodded.
“First, why do you seem so familiar to me?” I opened my mouth but Kai held up his hand. “Let me finish asking. Second, why was Tyson so weird around you? Third, how did you know Mina was in the park?”
“That it?”
“For now.” I nodded and closed my eyes.
“I knew Mina was in the park because I was on a walk. She was supposed to call me but she didn't. I called her and when I did I was only a few minutes away from here so I decided to join you guys. I can't say why I'm familiar to you because that's something only you know. Lastly, I think Tyson might have an active aura or something. He can sense other creatures aura and mine must be a little stronger then everyone else's.” Please buy that bullshit, please buy that bullshit. Kai nodded and paid for the pizza, took the boxes and gave me half, and we left the shop.
“Okay, so are you like Mina then?”
“Yeah,” I lied cheerfully. “I'm a witch.” Heh, I am so gonna kill Mina!!! “But you can't tell anyone.” Yep, she is so dead.
“Why not?” Maybe a sword? Nah, steamroller? No, there wouldn't be any blood.
“Mina's had to move several times, gotten herself into trouble with the government. I'm not sure if I was supposed to tell you that.” Oops…meh, she deserved it. I'll just get back at her this way.
“What sort of trouble?”
“Oh, she keeps experimenting with her potions. Last time her house ended up exploding in black flames. Took a while to explain everything.” That was SO cool. Too bad she doesn't remember what she threw into that potion. We could have set something else on fire. Maybe the school…
NORMAL POV
Mina looked up as Kai and Jo reached.
“Oh god,” She said as she noticed the smirk on Jo's face. “What have you done? Why do I get the feeling I'm gonna be interrogated?” Kat said nothing and set the Pizza on the ground, grabbing them one by one and handing them out.
“Relax Mina. I was just exacting a temporary revenge upon you. Nothing to worry about!” Mina stared at her.
“Jo, nothing, that you have EVER done, has EVER been `nothing to worry about'.” Mina noticed Kai staring at her.
“What?”
“Black flames? How the hell did you manage black flames?” Mina's eyes widened.
“You told him `bout that?! OH SHIT! My aunt is going to kill me!!”
“Calm down Mina. The house was re-built.” Jo said cheerfully.
“I'm not talking about that!! I'm not supposed to go around telling people I'm a witch or why the government isn't happy with me!” Mina started freaking out.
“Mina, up until about three seconds ago, Kai, you and me were the only ones who knew about that.” Mina froze for about ten seconds.
“I'm DEAD!” She exclaimed before falling back to lie on the ground. Ian, who had been sitting next to her inched away before opening his pizza.
“Hey Jo. Don't forget you pizza. Vegetarian.” Tyson pushed the small box into Jo's hands and she smiled.
“Thanks Tyson.” She said before taking a slice and scoffing it down, Tyson watching her every move. Mina sat up suddenly and grabbed a can of soft drink from Tala.
“Okay, back onto our first subject. So Kai, describe it! Did you know it? Did it look familiar?”
“Okay, I want to know what you two are talking about.” Rei said, already on his third slice of pizza.
“Kai's telling me about the ghost he saw when he was at the abbey.”
“Ghost? They don't exist.” Spencer said skeptically. Mina shrugged.
“Neither do witches, supposedly. But I'm alive! Moving on. Did you recognize it Kai?” Kai looked at the ground.
“Yeah I did.” Kai sighed slightly. “It was my mum. It looked like she was trying to tell me something but I couldn't hear what she was saying.” Mina nodded thoughtfully and looked around. Tyson was watching Jo who had just finished her pizza. Max was talking to Kenny and Spencer and Rei was talking to Bryan. Tala had joined in Kai and Mina's conversation. Mina then looked at her watch.
“Ahh! Jo, we have to go!! My Aunt will kill us!! C-ya guys. If you need to talk to me `bout anything, drop by the shop. Jo! Now!” Mina grabbed her friend and both raced off. The Demolition boys left soon afterwards leaving the bladebreakers in the park. They packed up the junk and put it in a bin on the way out of the park. Tyson was surprisingly quiet until they reached the kitchen.
“Ty? You okay?” Rei asked, concerned at Tyson's silence. Tyson nodded slightly.
“Yeah. Just that Jo girl. I don't trust her at all. Stay away from her, okay? I'm gonna go practice my kendo.” Tyson walked out of the room leaving a stunned Rei. Rei walked into the lounge room where Max had turned on TV.
“Rei? What's up?” Kenny asked when Rei sat down.
“Tyson. He say's he doesn't trust Mina's friend and to stay away form her. He made the sentence even weirder by saying he was going to go practice his kendo.” Kenny frowned and turned to Kai.
“Kai? Do you think we can trust her?” Kai looked troubled.
“I don't know. We should stay on guard around her, but she seems very familiar to me…I don't know why…” Kai trailed off and Kenny went back to his laptop.
DEMOLITION BOYS
“Hey Tala, what you thinking `bout?” Ian asked, flipping through channels. Tala frowned.
“What Kai and Mina were talking about. Kai was telling her about the time he started swearing in class and wouldn't talk to any of us.” Tala shook his head. “He said he saw his mothers ghost, that she was trying to tell him something. Just got me thinking.”
“About what?” Bryan asked coming out of the bathroom.
“If Kai saw her…maybe I wasn't seeing things when I saw Ella.” Tala closed his eyes and heard Bryan sigh.
“Tala, stop blaming yourself for that! It wasn't your fault. Boris killed her, and none of us could have done anything to save her.” Tala let out a choked sigh.
“I know that. But…she would have loved to see the abbey be put out of business. They all would have, they tried to keep things normal for us and they're the ones who never got a normal life.” No one said anything until Bryan moved.
“I'm going to sleep.” He left the room. Leaving the others to their thoughts.
MINA & JO
Mina and Jo didn't stop running until they were a fair way into the forest. Jo clutched her stomach.
“God that pizza is like lead! Why did you tell them I was a vegetarian!? Why couldn't you just say I had already eaten!?!? Oh god…” Jo stumbled over to some bushes and fell to her knees before she began to throw up all the pizza and soft drink she had just consumed. Mina winced and looked away.
“Sorry, but what else was I supposed to say? Don't answer that! And I thought that you could eat anyway!” Jo finished vomiting and slowly got to her feet.
“Look, I am ABLE to eat. But I haven't in so long that all of it at once is very bad! And even if I can, it's just so people don't suspect! Also, I feel so nauseous from breathing so much… ugh…”
“Hey! You're the one who wanted to see him so much!” Jo's expression at once changed from irritated to sad and regretful.
“I know,” She said softly. “And if I had of known the Demolition Boy's would have been there I would have been there twice as fast but…god Mina. I had no idea it would be so hard to see them.” Mina sighed.
“I'm sorry. Why are they so important to you anyway?” Jo's face melted into a neutral mask.
“Never mind. Mina if you want to continue with this, you're going to have to get rid of lard boy. He's a danger to me.” Mina's eyes widened.
“No way. Tyson!? You're kidding!” Jo shook her head.
“No, he knows what I am Mina. He will not stop until I am no longer a threat. If you want to continue with this get him out of the way.” With that, Jo disappeared form where she was standing. Mina sighed and massaged her temples. I officially hate today!!
Okay people, read and review plz. I'll update soon.
