Chapter twelve.

 

` Oh man, this is too weird.' Tyson thought again as they came back to Kai's mansion with that girl. Their team captain had still not told them who she was, and what was their relation. They were all back in their rooms while Kai had just taken the girl to his room, and left them to wonder.

 

“ Boy, this suspense is killing me.” He said out loud.

“ So, who do u think that girl is?” Rei asked.

“ Maybe she's his sister, or cousin.” Max said hopefully.

Tyson and Rei both threw a pillow at him, and Rei said, “ A guy doesn't kiss his sister stupid and cousin is just out of question.”

“ So, u mean to say, that, that super hot girl we saw is his girlfriend?” Max asked.

“ This is too weird, I mean Kai has a girlfriend? I must be dreaming, hey Max pinch me.” Tyson said coming towards Max. Max did as he was told, and Tyson jumped. “ Not that hard.”

“ Well u said I had to pinch u.” Max said defensively.

“ Knock it off guys, that girl has to be Kai's girlfriend, although I would have liked it if she was mine, u know? She's just too…” Rei said entering his dream world.

“ Nah, I don't believe it, Kai can't have a girl friend, no way no how.” Tyson said folding his arms around his chest.

He slumped on his bed, they all were in his room, he stared at his ceiling, the painted dragon looked back at him.

He jumped off his bed and said, “ Well I am not waiting here to find out, who's coming with me?”

 

“ No one.” Both Max and Rei said unison.

“ Why not?”

“ Let's just give Kai some alone time with that girl, something tells me that we'll find out all about her pretty soon.” Rei said.

“ Yeah Tyson, ever since v came here, v have been breathing down his neck, I think he deserves some lone time.” Max said agreeing.

“ He is always alone, v should go.” Tyson said still trying to convince the guys, but seeing the looks on their faces, he retreated to his bed and lay down.

 

 

Back in Kai's room….

 

Kai and Lisa, they had met after such a long time, Kai was so happy, he was feeling like he was flying, like he was free, he had never felt this much happiness his whole life. When he had seen her outside the ice cream parlor, he was scared and afraid of the outcome, but now when he looked at the girl sitting peacefully in his lap he smiled to himself, ` totally worth the risk'.

 

` I shouldn't have kissed her in front of the others though, I am supposed to be emotionless.' But then he remembered the feeling, the impulse, he just had to kiss her. The whole world couldn't stop him from doing it. Lisa was his, she was his love. One and only.

 

He uttered Lisa's name and she uttered his. They both looked at each other and a smile crossed both their faces. “ I love u, now and forever.” Kai said.

 

“ Me too.” Lisa said kissed his cheek softly.

 

“ I cried every night after u left, u shouldn't have done that. I missed u so terribly, I didn't know where u were, and that reminds me, where were u all this while?” Kai's love asked.

 

“ Japan.”

 

“ Hum, u had to get away from ur grandfather, I understand.”

 

“ I am glad u do.”

 

Normally Kai never spoke this much, even if he spoke a sentence, that was always enough for him, but when he was with Lisa, he wanted to talk, wanted to speak his heart out, wanted to say everything. Whenever he was with her, he felt free, free of all the trouble, free of all the pains, free of everything. When he was with her, he forgot everything, he just lived for the moment, never thinking about the past or the future.

 

“ We should probably go, I mean don't u think ur friends would want to know who I am, I…” She stopped in mid-sentence as she saw Kai smiling at her.

 

She kissed him and he kissed her back.
