# Kai stood in a dark room. On a table, in the middle of the room, encased by light was a red rose. Kai walked over to the table and picked up the rose. Suddenly the rose died in his hands. He dropped it onto the table in shock, taking a step backwards. Kai heard laughing and looked up to see Mariah step into the light.
"To bad he had to die. He was so cute. But for loving you instead of me it had to be done," Mariah said her voice full of anger and spite.gave her an odd look.grinned and pointed down to the table.looked down to see Rei on the table. His skin was as white as a ghost and his lips were blue. gasped and pulled Rei's cold body into his arms.
"He can't be dead. He can't," Kai said tears rolling down his face.started laughing and wouldn't stop.buried his face into Rei's hair.
"Noooo," Kai yelled looking up into blackness, "Noooo." #
woke up with a start, panting and sweating. The sheets were wrapped tightly around his legs and the pillow was lying on the ground beside the bed.looked over to the bed next to him. slept there soundly, his chest rising and falling in a soft, steady rhythm, signaling the boy was alive.sighed and got out of bed. Walking over to the double glass doors of the balcony he went out and lent on the rail.
'What the hell kind of dream was that. I mean Rei dying that can't be right. Even though I can see that conniving cow Mariah doing something like that but not to Rei. She loves him. Loves. She said that Rei loves me. That can't be true. It's impossible. This dream I've dreamt it for two weeks now and it won't stop. It can't be real.'
sighed and put his forehead on the rail.
"Go back to bed Rei," Kai said straightening back up and looking out into the night.
"Not unless you go back to bed as well," Rei said coming to stand next to Kai.
"We have a competition tomorrow. You need to get some sleep," Kai replied turning to Rei and folding his arms across his chest, "So go back to bed."stared back at him before shaking his adamantly and saying, "No."glared at Rei before taking one step forward picking Rei up, throwing him over his shoulder, and walking inside.
"Put me down," Rei said squirming.threw Rei onto the bed and said, "Sleep."
"Only if you do," Rei countered sitting up on the bed.
"Fine," Kai said sitting down on his own bed.
"No. I don't trust you. You'll sleep next to me in my bed. That way I'll know if you're tricking me," Rei said.grunted in annoyance and got up.clambered to the far side of the bed and allowed Kai to lay down beside him.
"You're a nuisance you know that," Kai said.
"Takes one to know one," Rei retorted.two boys fell silent and soon Kai heard Rei's breathing slow down and finally Rei was asleep.was just about to get up when Rei rolled over and snuggled into Kai putting his head on Kai's chest and his arm across Kai's waist.
'Damn it no what do I do now'
You could try just laying there and enjoy the warmth and comfort. I know you want to. @I didn't ask for your opinion Dranzer. ^Well you got it anyway. @Wow I'm so glad that you did give me your opinion you know I could just jump for joy. ^Stop being sarcastic. @Only if you'll stop giving your opinion on something that isn't any of your damn business Dranzer. ^Only if you stop denying your feelings for Rei. @I don't have any feelings for Rei except those as a teammate and barely even those are important. ^You're bloody impossible but I'm not going to give up. @Dranzer? ^What? @Get lost. ^Whatever. @
was the last Kai heard from Dranzer the rest of the night. Kai lay awake until daybreak before falling into a light sleep. Rei moved as he awoke, about three hours later, Kai was vaguely aware of it.yawned loudly before disentangling himself from Kai's arms, which had wrapped tightly around him during the night.got up and grabbing his clothes for the day headed for the bathroom. Rei un-wrapped his hair, and got into the shower, washing his body and his hair he got out, dried himself and his hair and got dressed.back into the room he saw that Kai was still asleep. Walking over the bed he sat on the bed beside Kai and put his hand on the bluenette's shoulder and shook it softly.
"Kai wake up," Rei said lightly, "It's time to get up."watched as Kai's eyes slowly opened and he gave a small yawn.smiled at him and got up.
"What time is it?" Kai asked.
"8:30," Rei replied.sat up and watched as Rei tried to brush his hair but the brush kept getting tangled.
"Damn it," Rei said disentangling the brush from his hair for the tenth time, "I wish I hadn't lost my old brush this one is such a pain."got up and grabbed his brush out of his bag and walked over to Rei.
"Here," Kai said handing his brush to Rei.looked from Kai to the brush then back to Kai.
"Thanks," Rei said taking the brush.
"Hn," Kai replied and went back to his bag to grab his clothes for the day.Kai showered while Rei brushed his hair.Rei finished his hair and went over to the bathroom door and knocked on it.
"I'll see you downstairs Kai," he called out before leaving the room and heading for the restaurant in the lobby.Kai had finished showering he dried, dressed and brushed his hair before going down to the restaurant.
