Chapter 4

 

*On the Blimp*

 

 

“So what will be the next move?” Robert asked the group.

 

“We need to intercept the Blade Breakers first before Boris and the Demolition Boy get to them first.” instructed Naomi as she entered the room.

 

“Naomi, Selein, Kara and I will retrieve the Blade Breakers, Oliver, find an obvious place for us to stay with tight security, Robert, you contact Mr.Dickonson. Lynn, Sanquinex, you'll keep the four of us posted on movement in the area. Ozuma, Terra, protect the blimp.” Shidoroshi said as he stood up and stretched his legs.

 

“Sounds like a plan to me.” Lynn said as she jumped out of her seat.

 

“We have 15 minute till we reach our targeted spot.” Oliver said as he checked his watch.

 

“You heard him, GET MOVING!!!” Naomi yelled.

 

Oliver, Robert, Lynn and Sanquinex left for the control room while Ozuma and Terra went to the exit ramp. Naomi, Selein, Kara and Shidoroshi headed towards the equipment room.

 

*Kinomiya Dojo*

 

The Blade Breakers looked at their captain, in shock at what he had just told them.

 

“So what do we do now?” Rei asked their captain calmly.

 

“I don't know, but I'm going out side for some fresh air.” Kai said as he left the room, leaving his concerned team mates.

 

“Hey guys we're back!” Hilary called as she and Daichi entered the dojo.

 

“Guys, what's wrong?” she asked when she sees the look on their faces.

 

“Rei you explain everything to Hilary and Daichi while I check on Kai.” Kenny said as he left the room.

 

“Why do I have the feeling I ain'ts going to like this?” Daichi said as they watched Kenny leave.

 

*Outside the Kinomiya Dojo*

 

Kenny had just exited the dojo when her saw Kai collapsed. The girl named Selein was standing behind Kai when he collapsed. It was obvious that she had knocked him out.

 

“Why are you here?” Kenny asked, trying to sound brave.

 

“This place isn't safe for you or your friends.” Selein replied calmly.

 

Understanding that she did not wish to hurt him he put down Dizzy as she approached him. She put her hand on his shoulder and gently applied pressure to the pressure point there. As he passed out into her arms she laid him down on the ground and went to the tree, she had hid a back pack in it, and pulled out a head set putting it on.

 

“Target one and six have been acquired kitten” she said in to the head set.

 

“Great head back to the check point black wing!And don't forget the laptop!” Lynn replied.

 

“Understood,” Selein said.

 

She grabbed the laptop and put it in her back pack and than picked up both boys and left the residents.

 

*Inside the Granger Dojo*

 

“WHAT!!!!!” Hilary yelled at the new information she had just received.

 

“Cool it Hilary!” said Tyson.

 

“Cool it!? YOU WANT ME TO COOL IT!? THAT LUNITIC TRIED TO KILL

YOU!!!!” yelled the overly panicked girl.

 

“Calm down you're not helping by…” said Rei as he fell to the floor unconscious. Hilary screamed in panic when she saw behind were Rei once stood was Kara.

 

“What the…” said Tyson as he as well fell into unconsciousness.

 

Max watched helplessly when Naomi knocked out Tyson, Hilary fainting from panic. Daichi jumped at Naomi to attack her, but was caught in mid air by Shidoroshi and Naomi hit a pressure point knocking him out, too. Max tried to run for the door, but was caught and punched in the stomach, by Shidoroshi, causing him to pass out. Naomi pulled out a head set and put it on.

 

“Kitten, targets two, three, four, five, and seven have been acquired,” she said in to the head set.

 

“All right, Black Wing has acquired Targets one and six and is proceeding to the checkpoint.” Lynn replied happily.

 

“Good, we'll head back as soon as we find all their equipment.” Said Naomi

 

*Unknown Location*

 

“Damn that hurt.” Max said as he sat up.

 

“Morning, Max…Are you ok?” asked Tyson.

 

“I've been better, but not to badly hurt I think. Where are we?” Max asked as he looked around the room seeing most of them

 

“We don't know we woke up here.” Hilary replied.

 

“Where's the chief?” Max asked as he got off his bed.

 

“No idea, he wasn't here when we woke up,” Rei replied

 

“Welcome to our humble home…” Lynn said smiling at them.

 

Rei looked up staring at the girl, then managed a, “Where the heck are we?”

 

“Feh, you're at headquarters. You actually think this was our humble home?” she teased, smirking.

 

Rei looked annoyed, but not as annoyed as their captain.

 

“Chen, WHAT IN THE F***ING WORLD IS GOING ON!?” Kai yelled.

Lynn opened her mouth to explain but then fell unconscious. Rei blinked as she fell into him.

 

“Err...you awake?” he asked looking at Lynn curiously.

Lynn's sapphire eyes snapped open,

“The descendents of the temple guardians will find each other in the dark unwinding path.

The sealer's descendants will also be found and joined together as one.

As our fates unwind, powers too great for our human hands to hold will unleash.

The call of the apocalypse may come to pass, we will fall. Together, forever…”

Her voice was not her usual, but as if she was possessed. Lynn's head collapsed onto Rei's shoulder once more and she fell unconscious.

 

*Abbeys*

 

“Why did you hold back?” Boris growled thrusting Tala into the wall, “You should have killed her there and then.” he said. His eyes sparked angrily.

 

“I know I didn't kill her. But, I got locations…” Tala said gruffly, holding out Kara's locket. He wiped a bit of blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.

 

Biovolt snatched the locket from Tala and opened it. An electrical map appeared and he smirked.

 

“Good job, Ivanhov…maybe you haven't failed us yet…”

 

Tala smirked, but inside he felt like how Kara described him, a moron.

 

*Unknown Location*

 

“What did that mean?” Max asked rubbing his neck.

 

“Same here…” Tyson said puzzled (A/n Kady: See…all humans have a brain, but I'm afraid poor Tyson just never found his…) as usual.

 

“Lynn…she makes prophecies…don't know how and don't care.” Kai said in his usual flat tone.

 

“Lynn!” Terra ran through the door and looked at her unconscious friend, “What happened here?” she asked looking from Rei to Lynn. “What did you do to her?” she growled.

 

“We didn't do anything!” Tyson shouted.

Shidoroshi ran into the room as well. “What did you do, Hiwatari?” he asked.

 

“I did nothing,” Kai snapped. “She made another prediction that's all.” He said.

 

“She did what?” Terra asked. Her brown eyes wide, “What was it?” she asked looking at Rei.

They sat down and Kai explained.

“AAAAAHHH!!!” Kara's voice sounded from the front, “Let go of me!!” she shouted.

 

“Sorry…” Tala muttered as he put his hand around her mouth and pushed down at her pressure point.

 

Kara's eyes widened then she fell to the floor. He hooked her locket around her neck again and sighed.

Maybe there is still good left in me… Tala thought and ran after the others.

Kady: *Whacks* SHUT UP OR LEAVE!!

 

Narrator: Hmmm…NIETHER!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

 

Kara: Dang it….how bout…-evil smirk-

 

Narrator: -blink-

 

Kara: -Grabs her flamethrower- Die…
