When Tala finally caught up with the rest of his team, he was only to find them unconscious.

 

“Damn… alright which one are you?” he said as he got into a fighting stance.

 

“You catch on quickly.” Selein said as she walked out of the shadows.

 

“I only know three people that could take on the four of us alone and win.” He answered

 

“True but I think we need to get down to business.” She replied as she got it to a fighting stance as well. Tala charged towards Selein and threw a punch at her. she blocked with little effort and back handed him in the face. He countered with a round house kick but she easily dodged it and punched him twice in the stomach and did a back flip that hit Tala in the chin. Be for he collapses to the floor she grabbed the collar of his shirt.

“Tell my father that I stole it.” She said then punched him in the stomach to knock him out and dropped him.

 

“Hurry up.” Naomi said as she walked in to the area with Kara on her back.

 

“I'm coming” Selein said as she stepped over Brian.

 

“What are we going to do about the information in the locket they got?” Naomi asked as they exited the building.

 

“Nothing…” Selein answered as they walked to a save on foods.

 

“And why are we going to do nothing?” Naomi asked as they walked into the save on foods.

 

“All of the locations in the locket are training grounds and knowing my father he downloaded the files on to one of the main computers in the biovolt net work.” Selein replied as she grabbed a basket.

 

“This is good thing how?” Naomi asked as they various items off the shelves.

 

“I encrypted a virus on very file in that locket. The moment they try to access the files it will ask for a password and if the wrong password is entered the network the files are on will crash.” Selein replied as they grabbed the last item and headed for the cashier.

 

“So we'll have a few days to relax for once.” Naomi said as the cashier woman started adding up the prices of the items.

 

“That would be nice.” Selein replied.

 

“That will be 454 dollars and 79 cents. How are you going to pay for these?” the cashier woman asked.

Selein grabbed a wallet out of her back pocket and pulled out a 500 dollar bill. Both girls smirked at the look of shock on the woman's face as Selein grabbed the items and they left the store.

 

“That's it no more favors for the cooks.” Selein said in annoyed tone. They walked back to the building that they left earlier and crossed the street.

 

They entered a sky scraper and walked up to the front desk.

 

“Welcome to the BBA central office how… oh! Hello girls!” the woman at the front desk.

 

“Hello Morgan. Tell Mr. D we're back, put security on level 3 and inform us if we are needed.” Naomi said. They walked to an elevator and got on.

 

*some level of the BBA central office*

 

“Damn! This isn't making things any easier!” Terra yelled as she punched the wall.

 

“Calm down Spit Fire.” Lynn snapped. If she hated anything more than someone having a crush on her, it was taking anger out on things…like walls.

 

“What's she all worked up about?” Naomi hissed in Kara's ear.

 

“She just found a bunch of roses on her bed from crazy fan boys…” Kara hissed back.

 

“I can hear you.” Lynn snapped and Kara gulped.

 

“Calm down, Lynn.” Selein said and Lynn nodded.

 

*With the Demo. Boys*

 

“That was PATHETIC!!!” Boris yelled at the team. They cringed at the sound of their angry chief.

 

“Well, what were we supposed to do?” Brian asked annoyed.

 

“You were supposed to kill them! Not be the ones being knocked out!” he snapped.

 

“Yeah…and we can beat the one you praised for the best fighting skills when they were on our team?” Tala asked in a mock tone.

 

“Shut your damn mouth, Ivanhov!” Boris snapped and the others stared at Tala. He just glared at them then Boris and muttered curse words then left, slamming the door shut behind him.

 

*Tala's Room*

 

“F***ing idiot thinks he can order me around…” Tala muttered drying his hair as he walked out of the shower. He continued muttering curses under his breath as he pulled his shirt over his head. Still muttering, Tala walked over to his desk and took out a letter he had received a few hours ago. Opening it his eyes widened, “It's from Kara…” he muttered and unfolded the letter quickly.

`Dear Tala,

I just wanted you to know that I appreciate that you gave me back my locket. I hope you'll be able to change one day and join us to take down Boris and Biovolt. I really don't know why you suddenly went power hungry though. The first time I met you, you were sweet and quite cute. But now? I just think you're a moron as you heard me repeat many times at our last encounter at the park. I finally understood why you trained me the day you tried to murder me. You were ordered to train me and make me emotionless just like you. Heck, you must be stupid if you think I'd give up being happy, or being able to feel it when someone likes, or even loves you. I can, but don't want to forgive you at this moment. Do not reply my letter. Besides, you don't have a return address.

Tala blinked. `Love?' `Miss ya?' He shook the thought from his mind, “She still hasn't forgiven me, I can't forget that…even if she does miss me…and uses…love…” he muttered.

 

*Headquarters of the D.A.*

 

“I wonder if he got it…” Kara asked herself.

 

“Who got what?” Shidoroshi asked appearing next to her.

 

“Huh? Oh, nothing.” Kara said quietly.

 

“I know you wrote to him…” he said darkly.

 

“What? Oh…please don't tell, Shido…” Kara begged. Shidoroshi stood still; she had never shortened his name before.

“Fine…just don't call me that again.” He snapped. Kara smiled and embraced him.

 

“Thanks, Shidoroshi.” She said happily.

 

“Yeah…now let go of me.” He said turning red a bit.

 

“Sorry…” Kara muttered turning red herself and let go.

 

“Kara, Shidoroshi, get over here!” Naomi shouted. They nodded and ran over to their captain.

 

“I have no idea why, but Boris found the override to Selein's virus! You two infiltrate the headquarters and delete the files. Take it or leave it!” she said and they both nodded.

 

*Demolition Boy's Headquarters*

 

As Boris plowed on with the speech, Kara and Shidoroshi had broken in. “That was a bit too easy…” Kara muttered as she jumped down from the air vent. Shidoroshi nodded as he jumped down after her, quietly.

 

“Now where do we go?” Shidoroshi asked.

 

Kara just smirked as she glanced at her locket's screen and said, “Follow me and stay quiet.” He nodded. As they approached an elevator, a camera scanned the people. It scanned no voices which meant no people in its case. Launching her beyblade at the `up' button, the elevator opened its doors. Kara and Shidoroshi scanned the inside then ran in before the doors closed.

 

“You are to stop at nothing, which means you Ivanhov, to destroy the Demolition Angels!” Boris's voice sounded through the doors. Tala hung his head, but nodded.

 

Kara's eyes widened, Maybe…just maybe there's still hope…she thought.

 

For a second, when Tala's eyes looked at the elevators ring as Kara and Shidoroshi arrived, his blue ones connected to Kara's brown ones. `Sorry…' Tala mouthed and Kara smiled slightly.
