“The medical room? Why did you bring me here?” Kara asked while giving Tala a confused look as he put her down on the bed.

 

“Selein had an opportunity to kill us, but she didn't. I think it's fair that we return the favor and you have a bad cut on your leg, I needed to change the bandages.” He replied as he walked to a large pharmaceutical cabinet on the other side of the room. He searched around cabinet for something for about two minutes.

 

“Found it.” Tala said with a smirk and tossed a bottle of pills to Kara.

 

“What are these?” Kara asked after she caught the bottle.

 

“Just give them to Selein. She can tell what they are for, if she feels like it.” Tala said as he proceeded on getting disinfectant cream and bandages.

 

“Relaxants?” Kara said in puzzlement.

 

 

*BBA central office building*

 

“Well? What are we waiting for lets go!” Lynn as she made her way to the dinning room door.

“no.” all eyes turned to Selein.

“What do you mean `no'?” Lynn asked angrily.

“It will be foolish to charge in their facility head on with out a plan and it's a high chance of a trap.” Selein replied.

“So we just leave her there and do nothing to help her!” Lynn yelled.

“There is nothing we can do right now but help Shidoroshi.” Naomi said while finishing examining Shidoroshi and then stood up.

“But Naomi…” Lynn said looking at her captain in shock.

“We will rest for tonight and get her back with our full strength.” Naomi stated calmly.

“But, they will kill her!” Lynn cried out in anger.

“That is the risk that can't be a voided with the lives we lead.” Selein said coldly.

”So you're going to leave her and let them kill her! Well I won't! I'll get her back myself.” Lynn yelled and turned to open the door and leave, only to be stopped by someone grabbing her arm.

“Let go.” Lynn said angrily.

“And let you risk everything we've worked for, I think not.” Selein replied.

“I can take care of my self.”

 

“We know that perfectly well.” Naomi snapped.

 

“Then you'll let me go!” Lynn growled pulling her arm free of Selein's grip, fangs starting to show at the corners of her mouth. Her eyes slowly changed from a sapphire to piercing gold, slitting into ones like a cat.

 

“Lynn!” Terra shouted. The neko growled, glaring at Selein and Naomi.

 

“At least I didn't take remedial medicine...” she hissed at Selein. Selein's eyes flared up with anger.

 

“Why you!” she grabbed Lynn by the arm and tossed her back, across the dining room twisting her arm back as well. Lynn winced as her arm was twisted back, sliding across the room. Rei caught her and stared at Selein with a look of confusion. His golden eyes stating his mind perfectly, `Why'd you do that?'

 

“My own reason's,” Selein growled and stormed out the door. Naomi scowled and followed her out.

 

“You okay?” Rei asked, blushing furiously. Lynn nodded and winced as she tried to move her arm.

 

“Hold on…” he muttered. The boy picked Lynn up off of her feet and walked out of the dinning room, down the hall, with Lynn's help on the elevator, down another towards his room. Lynn stared at him, her eyes slowly changing back to the normal.

 

“Erm…” Lynn looked at him puzzled.

 

“It's fine…” Rei assured, smiling lightly. The girl nodded.

 

“Thank you.” Lynn whispered and kissed him on the cheek, causing him to go three shads of red.

 

 

*5 minutes before Rei and Lynn entered the hallway*

 

Selein stormed about half the way to elevator before she collapsed.

 

“I...I can't believe I did that…” Selein sobbed.

 

“She'll be fine,” Naomi muttered, appearing next to the crying girl.

 

“I'll get her back.” Selein mumbled.

 

“I know you will.” Naomi replied

 

“I'm sorry.” Selein said quietly.

 

“Don't be.” Naomi replied as she helped the other girl up and helped her to the elevator.

“Mommy are we there yet?” came the voice of a green eyed little girl with waist length black hair tied together with a purple ribbon. She wore a dark purple tank top and blue pants with dark blue shoes.

 

“Soon sweetie, we'll be there soon,” replied a long black haired, violet eyed woman in the front seat of the car. The child smiled and continued to play with her toys from her spot in-between a teen aged boy and preteen girl. The car stopped and hummed with patients as it waited for the light to change.

 

“Hey, dad! Did we really need to bring Sely with us for this?” the boy asked. The boy had shoulder length dark red hair and violet eyes. He wore a black t-shirt and navy blue pants.

 

“She will be fine Joseph. We only need to talk to your grandfather. ” Replied the man driving the car. The man had chin length dark red hair and ivy green eyes.

 

“Why? The old fart is locked up in a mental institution and can't tell a broom stick from the mail man,” said the older girl in the back seat. She had mid back length dark red hair with violet eyes. She wore a navy blue long sleeved shirt and blue jeans.

 

“Crystal!!” the woman yelled in annoyance.

 

“What!?” the girl scowled.

 

“Mommy what's a men-tall in-sit-two-shon?” the little girl ask with innocent curiosity.

 

“I'll tell you when you're a bit older. Ok sweetie?” the woman replied with a smile.

 

“Kay!” the girl yelled with a childish smile.

 

After the child's question the vehicle fell into a comfortable silence as the light turn green and the cars began to move. Soon it was their car's turn to cross the four way intersection.

 

“Richard look!!” the woman screamed as a speeding car came towards them. The car collided with the family's vehicle causing both cars to flip over.

 

“No…”

 

“Somebody call 911, hurry!!”

 

“Oh my god… Get a stretcher this one is alive! Hold on kid!”

 

“It's a miracle! She came out of that with only a concussion.”

“The poor thing, she's all alone now…”

 

“Stop it…”

 

“Mommy?” the child mumbled when she opened her eyes, only to close them because of the strong lights in the room. She blinked a few time to help her eyes a just to the lights strength. She started looking around the white room she was in.

 

“Sorry sweet heart I'm not your mommy. Now stay here,” said a nurse who was sitting in a chair near the girl's bed. The nurse got up from the chair and walked over to the intercom and pushed a button.

 

“Doctor Johnson she is wake now.” The nurse released the button and returned her chair.

 

“Where's my mommy?” the child asked quietly.

 

“I don't know sweet heart.” The nurse replied as a tall man with a lad coat on, enter the room.

 

“Not again!”

 

“Hello little one I am Dr. Johnson. Is your name Selein Linya?” the doctor asked. He smiled when the child nodded her head vigorously.

 

“Can I see my mommy now?” she asked with hopeful eyes and the man sighed with great weight. He looked directly at the girl

 

“I'm sorry Selein, but only you survived the accident.” The doctor said sternly.

 

“I don't understand…”the child said with confusion is her eyes.

 

“Your family is dead.” He said with great pain.

 

“No…” the child whispered in disbelief.

 

“You're lying!” she yelled as tears streamed down her face. The nurse stood up and pulled the grieving child into a tight embrace.

 

“I want my mommy and daddy! I want my big brother and sister!!” the child cried into the nurse's arm that held her.

 

“Stop it!!!”

“STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Kai's eyes snap. He jump out of his bed and ran out his door. Once outside his room, he froze,

 

“Who screamed?” he asked hoarsely.

`wait a minute… that sounded like…'

 

“Kai?” Terra waved a hand in front of his face,

 

“HIWATARI!” she shouted. The boy jumped, snapping out of his trance.

 

“What?” he snarled. Terra scowled, knowing he was obviously back to normal.

Kara: SORRY! I COULDN'T THINK!

Kady: Duh…

Kara: Shut up!

Kai: Erm…-stares-

Kara: Ah what the hell! On with the story!

“Sheesh...” Terra scowled and huffed, “be that way…moron.”

 

“Stop that!” Kai growled.

 

“Shut up,” Naomi walked towards them and dragged her little brother off by the ear.

 

“What the hell…!?” Kai yelped, groaning as she dragged him along.

 

“Quite whining…”

 

“Then stop tugging!”

 

“No, now shut up.”

 

“Make me!” (A/n: Damn...big OoC in Kai's part xD)

Thus, your ordinary brother sister conversation starts just like that.

 

She pulled him down several hallways until they reached a black door with a raven and the words Black Wing engraved in it.

 

“Calm her down…” Naomi shoved Kai into Selein's room.

 

“GET OUT!” the freaked girl threw a random object at Kai.

 

“Damn it!” Kai keeled over as Selein's book made contact with his stomach.

 

“It's alright Selein, Naomi sent me in here...” he groaned.

 

“Go away…” Selein said as she pulled her covers closer to herself.

`God dam it! How could I forget about her nightmares?' Kai thought than sighed and made his way across the room to her bed. When he reached her nightstand he turned on the lamp on the nightstand and sat on the side of the bed. Selein tried to move away from him, but he hooked an arm around her waist and pulled her in to his lap. she struggled for a minute to get out of his hold before giving up and lying her head on his chest.

 

“You going to tell me what you saw?” as he rubbed her back to sooth her.

 

“No.”

 

“Still as stubborn as ever.” He said with a smirk

 

“Shut up.” She replied with a huff.

 

“I missed you…” he said gently.

 

“I missed you too.” Came her reply.

“What's wrong?” a voice asked as Naomi rounded them into the conference room.

 

“I don't know, what's going on Naomi!?” another voice shouted.

 

“Why did Selein scream?” came another.

 

“Shut up and I'll explain!” Naomi raged. A scared hush fell over the teams.

 

“Okay…Selein's been getting haunted by memories of her past, she been like this since she was little. Normally Shidoroshi and I could calmer her down before she did something in her panicked state… ” Naomi said with a sigh.

 

“Then how are we supposed to sleep!?” Johnny shouted, followed by his `Ow that hurt Terra!'

 

“Shut up and listen…” Terra scowled.

 

“Thank you very much, Spit Fire…” Naomi muttered through gritted teeth.

“Heh, sorry about that Naomi.”

“Anyways, Kai is with her now, so you don't need to worry. Normally her screams aren't this loud, but her nightmares have been getting worse over the past few years.”

 

“But how are we going…”

 

“LIVE WITH IT!” Naomi's voice rang through the room, making everyone wince.

 

“Thank you…”

 

“It's almost morning!” Tyson complained.

 

“Then get some food...” Lynn scowled her arm now in a sling.

 

Tyson laughed nervously and backed away, slowly. Rei chuckled softly at Tyson's reaction to the neko.

 

“Sugar…” Max whined.

 

Terra blinked, “No! No sugar for you Max!” she said backing away from the blond.

Johnny laughed once more. “OWW! DAMN IT TERRA!”

Kara: Dude…Johnny's getting tortured ^^

Kady: No dur.

Tala: So?

Kara: Plushie..erm..let's go with Ozuma ^^

Ozuma: -was sleeping- oO WHAT!? -chases after terrified Kara- GET BACK HERE!!
